[Q] Ringtones Play Through Speaker While Headset is Connected, Why? - HTC One X

As the title says, ringtones are being played through speaker while headset is connected... How do I change this?
ROM: Renovate 10.0.1 with it's stock kernel no tweaks or anything flashed...
BTW, had that problem on any other ROM as well...

No 1 knows or am I missing something?

Are they not played through headset also? On CM10 it plays both through speaker and headphones as a security measure: if you for some reason have headset plugged in but you don't have it on your head you're still gonna hear the ringtone.

Bluetooth problem!! Can anyone help?

Hi guys,
Because of this problem I get almost sorry that I had taken a Galaxy Nexus.
I can pair Nexus with my carkit (parrot) and I can play audio through the speakers.
My problem is: When I call or receive a call I can hear almost nothing. Sound is so low that I can not even notice that the sound from the speakers or coming from the phone. I am using Volume+ too but nothing helps!!
It's look like that Nexus somehow even loses the connection, without any reason.
It's a rooted Nexus and running on AOKP.
Is there a better ROM for my bluetooth issue or do you guys have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance..
No one??
Has nobody has an idea or experince with this??
The market description for Volume+ says:
A Cyanogen Mod 7 or MIUI ROM is HIGHLY recommended. Running this app on a Stock ROM/Kernel may result in it not working, being far too quiet, or getting even quieter. PLEASE don't comment or rate badly if you are on a Stock ROM as this is most likely the problem.

The feature list for AOKP says it uses the "Unsecure boot.img (stock AOSP kernel)."
You might want to try uninstalling the application to see if that fixes your sound issues over bluetooth.
I am using a stock (unrooted) GSM Galaxy Nexus. It pairs just fine with my Jawbone Era bluetooth headset and do not have an issue when making/receiving calls with volume. Where I notice the volume is quite low is the voice dialer prompt only (the actually call is fine). Apart from that, no issues.
miui..
Hi guys,
Thanks for your replies.
I flashed the rom of miui and it's seems to work till now. So this rom dealing better with bluetooth.

Beats Audio Notifications...

Since updating to ARHD 3.0.0 I no longer get a Beats notification when playing music through Spotify or the default Music app.
Has anyone else had this issue? I've tried superwiping and reflashing but no luck.

Have you try to plug your earphone into HOX?
If you listen to music by the phone speaker, beats will not active....
Just to let you know that ARHD was the best rom in HOX... Thank

[Q] [Xperia S] CM10 earphone problem

Hello.
I just updated my Xperia S from CM9 to CM10, and it's great!
But I have this one problem which ruins the whole experience for me. Whenever I plug in my headphones (I use the new Apple Earpods) the sound still goes through the speaker. The only way to get the sound through the earphones is holding the play button when I plug it in, but then the music pauses after 1 second, and when I press play it just goes through the speaker again.
I tried using the 'audio_policy.conf' from the CM10 thread, and I set the permissions correctly, but it didn't work. Is there any way to fix this? Because now I can't listen to my music.
Thanks
agree

Yes, same problem here, fix pls
I have a set of buds with an inline Mic and buttons. To get them to work I have to hold one of the buttons while plugging in. As I don't use these for phone calls I don't know what function the button controls. Labels are gone.

I noticed this too, I think it's because Apple earphones need proprietary Sony drivers to work and FXP can't use these as they're proprietary.
I was just thinking, is it possible to copy the lib (or whatever file) that makes the headphones work on stock to CM9? I know it won't work with CM10, but it should work with 9. I want to try, but I have no idea which file I should use.

Neither do I lol. Try doing some research into the audio libs for ICS? Good luck
Can anybody check if the problem persists while using the Default sony Earplugs which came out of the box with L26i Xperia S?
I am rounding up facts and what all to expect when I flash my phone
I think they should work, but I can't test it since they stopped working after 2 days

I have my Apple earpods working on CM10 All you have to do is download 'SoundAbout' from the Play Store. Open the app and change the 'Media audio...' option to 'Wired Headphones'. The only downside is that you have to change this option everytime you want to use the speaker, but at least the headphones are working

I have the problem too. When I plug in my headphone, the sound is still coming from the speaker T_T
Does anyone have the solution for this?
By the way, when using SoundAbout, what happen to the notification sound? Do they still come to the speaker?

All the sounds come from the earphones, even when you plug them out. But the app has a widget which you can press to change it back to the speakers

[Q] Bluetooth mic not working

I've just got Harman Kardon BT headset, while I can use them with gsm calls but I cannot use them with skype in high quality. It's a stereo bluetooth headset and I've read in many places that the problem exists in android phones.
My question is that why doesn't the headphones make high quality voice calls in skype through an a2dp profile? It only works in a distorted mono format where sound is nothing but gibberish.
I'm on UHD 5.01, although I wish to stay on this one, will any other rom help me out? Camera quality and rom stability is important to me, that's why I prefer to stay on ice-cream sandwich.
And if anyone knew how to get through the same problem on pc skype, it'd be great!
Thank you
Hi, I don't have this kind of problem . I am on Jelly Dream Z1 rom and lupus kernel.
