thank you for you time, but how come ?! you said no for the first question, and said "is compatible" for the second question !!
Just help me please, I'm New in this world, I want to learn that's all.
Thank YOU again
I'm sorry I didn't answer your second question. The kernel is compatible but sweep2wake will not work on JB roms, so that includes: CM10, AOSP and AOKP. Only will work on Sense ICS roms.

Yes like that. It works with anything that has sense on it.... not including the JB Sense releases.

You are multiposting the same thing and now in a new thread...Better you can go ahead and check the ROM by self...And then tell us the bugs, working things, etc...
Is this stabile version

Lol...... do you honestly think if there was a stable ics rom available there wouldn't be a thread plastered all over the dev section for it already. This is probably arco's build or one of the other builds by erwinp or cobje (i think) which where all posted in the thread titled what's next!!

For the most custom ROMs you have to repack the kernel. However, on ViperX ROM there's no need to repack, just flash the boot.img for the kernel and install the modules in CWM.

Sweet so no repacks needed for viperx Rom just install the original custom kernels then? i.e faux123 kernal

Sorry another noob Question based off of this, but how do you know if a Rom needs a repacked kernal or not?

Yuo, no need for repack. Just download the ones from the official faux thread and you're ready to go!

If there are any ramdisk tweaks you need a repack. It's usually also stated in the OP if you need repack.

Hi all guys. I flashed Ice col jelly 4.2.1 and i have some questions.. Why there si no photosphere option in camera app ? Which 3.x kernel can I sue for it to use project butter and optimize battery life ?
Hi. I've heard that photosphere is not supported on our device (it makes the camera app FC) and that's why developers removed it from their rom.
For the kernel, I don't know, I might be interested if someone has an answer.
PS : maybe you should be more specific in the title of your thread
I tried Trip's one x+ kernel on ICJ421 when it first came out it was v002 if I remember right. I was able to boot but got reboot after a minute of use.
The stock kernel is the best at the moment.

Maybe I will try this kernrl to know if the developer fixed this bug! How to flash the kernel ?
Repack the boot, flash like normal: fastboot flash boot boot.img
Then flash modules in recovery.
And nandroid before flashing!

Hi all, i flashed my One X to CM 10.1 Nightly, but the battery drain is awfull. I tried to flash it with the franco kernel but that made my phone stuck in BOOT. I heard of a Semaphore kernel, but i cant find one for the One X only for the Nexus 4 and SIII.....any ideas anyone
Only use aosp based kernels, and kernels for JB roms......franco/faux kernels are for ICS based roms ! Not gonna work
Try XM kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2136731
Yes xm kernel was the best for me in cm 10.1 roms with battery but with seadrsn rom

What does aosp based mean??
Senseless roms based on pure Google source.
aosp stands for android open source project. Mostly means that there is no HTC sense shell added
So when you are on CM10.1 you need the aosp version of the xm kernel if you wish to try that.

That will be the kernel modules or the boot.IMG you flashed.
I would suggest using the snapshot rather than nightly.

First, like everyone here will, I want to tell you this thread should've been posted in the Q&A.
That said, I'd say you could try the XM Kernel. The ROM is based on CM, and XM is one of the best and satisfying kernels I've ever used.

XM AOSP I tried it but the rom does not start
