Hi im using ViperDHD v1.2.1 on my Dhd for 4 days now, it's à great rom but i think the battery draining raster than normal
I made some screenshots for the stats.
I hope someone gonna help me.

Try with....
virtuous_infinity-v1.35.0-ace_kernel_20120917.zip
You can find it in the same page, really better

I'm using it, is the beastmode Kernel Vetter ?

Try the BeastMode kernel with a more power saving CPU governor like smartassV2
Hi thx for the reply can you plz give me a Link to to beastmode Kernel and cpu app

This is my favorite cpu control app

hi can you tell me what's the best config in DaemonController that i have to do ?
Well I use min 245mhz max 1024mhz with smartassV2 as governor. And you can search for BeastMode kernel, flash it.
I had battery jumps (still do sometimes) so I use Battery Calibrator (from the market, it's free) to delete the batterystats. I'm also using Virtuous' kernel (in combination with a "screen off" profile in SetCPU (128 min, 300 ish max - ondemand governor). If you haven't already, delete your HTC Sense account from the phone. It really chews through the battery (for very little reason).
My Desire HD is overclocked to 1.3ghz with all that and it's still at 87% charge after 3 hours (currentWidget is telling me it's been using 4-5mA with the screen off).

I am going away this weekend but I won't be able to charge my phone. What are your tips to help make the battery last (I'm on cm7 if it helps)

Underclock it.
Disable wifi/3g/bluetooth
Lower screen brightness.
Disable tactile feedback/vibrations.
and disable animations and delete widgets you will not use. But indeed, I could get 4+ days out of my wildfire (stock rom) by just not using internet
Any cm7 specific tweeks and what should I underclock to
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
Dunno if this'll help but disable JIT
And try thus UC:
Max 480
Min 245
Govenor: Powersave
Btw how do you reset battery stats

Is there a way to undervolt to save battery?
Undervolt can be done by simply reducing your cpu state, and current allocated for each hardware. Use setcpu or such and flash undervolt script in the Dev section (usually in kernel thread). You could tweak it yourself if you want to (don't ask me about it, I'm no dev).

Oh alright thanks! =)

you can try lormodue kernel and his uv script, it is amazing. but only for aosp rom.
I have rcmix3d 4.0 and rcmix3d and dirty v11.1 kernel and i have st cpu to 380-1.8 but once a day my phone goes in a bootloop. Usually when i am using the phone. This problem didnt occur when i had ARHD but i like rcmix i tried to change the kernel no diffrence i changed the OC no diffrence i dont lnow what it is when it goes in a bootloop i will take the battery out and it will be working fine, but it always once a day goes in a bootloop.

Try dropping the max CPU speed.

I have its 1.8 ghz but yeh il decrease just to double check
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
I dropped it to 1.8<1.6 but its still goes in a bootloop it did it once today and once yesterday. I cant figure out the problem. It will go on bootloop even when the power is on economy also known as power efficiency.

I found out what is wrong it does it when it gets really warm this would happen after excessive use. Help plz?

Your overclocking is heating up the CPU and the phone. You should try even lower frequencies. High temperatures are bad for your battery.
I recommend you to not clock more than 1.38 GHz.
Hey guys, these few days I've been seeing a huge battery drain on the phone so I checked my CPU clocks and found that even though I limited it to 1.2 GHz the CPU constantly locks onto 1.4 GHz with all 4 cores running. BBS says mediaserver is using around 10% of my battery and I can't seem to get my CPU clocks working. I'm using TripNDroid CM10 and his own 3.1.10 kernel. The problem still persists in other roms and kernels such as ARHD and AOSP with Bricked and Faux.Any ideas on why?

Anybody can help? Also, using setcpu temporarily unlocks the cores but after around 5mins they get locked again.

I have flashed cm10. 1 on my n7100 and the volume is lower than i used to in the stock rom and it consume more battery any help with that

I don't think there's much you can do with regards to battery life. I've tried doing what I could to get a good battery life with CM/aosp and the best I could get was 5.5hours screen on time on lowest brightness and 12hours between charges. Compared to stock I get 7-8hours screen time and 24+hours between each charge. There's nothing much you can do with battery life.

You could flash a kernel like n.e.a.k kernel .. and download their app..
For getting a slightly better battery life, undervolt your CPU by 50-75 mV each step and you also may set the CPU ti 1.4Ghz instead of 1.6GHz
For the sound, using their app, there is an option for speakers and headphones.
Set speaker between 57 and 63(loudest) and same thing for headphones. .

Dsp manger is their app am i right cause if so i can't find that option you talked about

Even with neak kernel or redpill undervolted it still sucks at battery performance. And sometimes under clocking to 1400mhz results in graphic glitches in the UI with aosp. I think its just not designed to manage battery usage as effectively as Stock ROMs.

The problem isn't in Google .. 4.2.2 works with great battery on nexus 4 .. cm can't be like google but they are trying to make the rom as battery efficient as possible
I personally get 5-6 hours of screen time..
I get 6-8 hours on touchwiz.
No big optimizations made.. 1600 MHz and UV 50-75 .. and overclocked GPU for better rendering without UI glitches ..
Sent from my GT-N7100
Of course 4.2.2 is compatible with good battery life.
Here is attached the proof
