Completely stock. Wondering why the stock ROMs are giving up bigger numbers. Is Jedi ROM under clocked to save battery?

I got 18399 on AnTuTu 3.0.1 stock ROM with root.

Not that these benchmarks mean much but:

his moscab; what benchmark app are you using? also i a newbie using 3.2 jedi rom, wanting to use note2core kernel; do you have a screenshot of your settings for overclocking cpu.
does the 64gb microsd card work well with note2core kernel or do i have to flash also perseus kernel? thanks for your help

Antutu - The Note2Kernel does not recognize the 64GB kernel - the Perseus Kernel does and it works well - I have a 64GB card and a 32GB card - am using the 32GB card right now untile NOte2Core is compatible.
HOpe this helps

Wow, definitely seems like AOSP roms get much better scores. I've generally gotten 1400-1500 with sense-based roms, and around 2500 with AOSP (without overclocking).

Quadrant updated for multiple cores and ICS

Topics says it all. You should learn not to put much weight into these benchmarks, but the new update should give a clearer picture of our devices performance.

I ran a lot of test and figured out the having "force gpu rendering" checked will increase your 2d score on quadrant.
I get 900-1000 with it enabled
I get 200-300 with it not checked.

Great, finally a proper way to compare our e-penises. Let's hope people still realize Quadrant scores are not a good way to compare roms... (or maybe I'm just saying this because my scores are rather low )

[Q] Battery Drain

i am using ics final build and using .62 firmware and lupusv9 and the battery is really draining.
it has used 50% overnight with nothing running,
I have tried calibrating and still the same.
Anyone else got this problem?
I got 5% per hour when at wifi.
Kernel related prob.

What kernel would people recommend?
Thanks
That kernel ROM developer recommends.
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
Did you check what apps or services are eating more battery? You can check that in the settings app.
The developer recommends all kernals.
On battery usage Cell standby is the most and screen following.
Look at the developer's signature, you will find the suitable kernel

What kernal do people recommend and also I am using baseband 62 is that ok or should I be using something else?
Okay. Use kernel that rom developer recommends. Already answered lol.
Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app
But the developer recommends all kernels so I didnt know which one to use that will help with battery problem.
Oh god.
For example: Xperia NXT says "Recommended kernels: Lupus, Doomkernel"
OBVIOUSLY, the kernel names are clickable which means that you can flash what you want i dont care.
Enought?

You could try underclocking. It seems to really help me.

Would underclocking deprove performance significantly? That's what I'm most concerned with.
If only there's a good tutorial on undervolting
I'm on markpython's stock 4.0.4, LuPuS v9 with smartassv2, 1ghz. Battery drain is insane.. (~15%/hour 3G)

I dunno about ICS, but on GB I can smoothly use my Play for most tasks at 460MHz max (even a good few games, since they use the GPU more than the CPU)
You should try to undervolt your CPU. It's a better solution than underclocking.

Sent from my GT-I9505G using xda premium
Overclocking means increasing the clock frequency of a hardware component, cpu , gpu past manufacturer spec i.e increasing the ammount of cycles per second people also play with the voltages to increase stabilty just makes the device perform slightly better and makes the user feel special with bragging rights my S4 is overclocked
