Findings so far:
Internal Storage still wiped...
New feature for shorthand writing rather than QWERTY input on Samsung Keyboard (kind of like Palm's old Graffiti Keyboard). http://youtu.be/u6uR7fuYS00
Bloat apps have been updated since FK09.
Extended Toggles gone (now it's back to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Sound and 4G).
More testing to come!

if mute bug is fixed I'm flashing!
thanks for this!
I flashed the modem.bin va pc odin and then updated prl and profile and then tested a call and the other side could hear me the entire time. Then tested the call via speaker and waited for screen to timeout and the other party could still hear me. I made sure my proximity during calls setting was on and my screen timeout was set to 30 seconds.
This was only flashing the modem.bin and not the kernel, may flash the kernel next but I kinda wanna wait for the tar file.
I did notice that with this new modem I am getting less bars at my desk.
The backwards compatibility with fk09 is a good sign for us I think.

ok so when flashing it says fk09 modem and kernel?
This may be a stupid question but how do you flash the zimage file in odin or even in mobile odin? When I look for that file using the PDA slot nothing shows up like the modem.bin did in the phone slot.
I have only ever flashed tar files, sorry for the newbish question.
Thanks

Well, signal strength was reportedly tweaked... but it was supposed to be improved.

I ran some more speed tests and my 4G was actually pretty good, the problem I am seeing is my signal bars dropping often and when on a call it was a little fuzzy at times. 3G speed test was pretty bad but I forgot to try it in this spot before I updated the modem.
Edit: And now I am roaming at my desk when I wasn't on FK09.

Lol, with Sprint its never accurate anyway. I would take zero bars if I could get dependable 4g.

Just an FYI - FK23 modem/kernel are optimized for FK23. It works with FK09 but just as FK09 was optimized for FK09 it may not work 100% with other builds.

I'm interested in what answers you might get on this. The only way I know to flash a kernel bin file is through adb shell, which you need the device to be rooted prior. Hadn't really looked into any other options since it's a rarity for me. :edit: or you could take a look at the flash able zip and look in the script to see the calls.

ok well I have to agree signal seems a bit better and made 2 10min phone calls with no mute bug added a contact pc and froze so......i do agree that until we get full leak all problems may not be solved and we will probrobly not see all the optimization that were included with package. Sorry for any mistakes in post flashing and driving at the same time lol actually sitting in the burgerking drive thru

So can you tell us if the FK09 ROM with the FK23 radio is acting worse that when it's all FK23 is all installed?
I know on my phone that one ROM and kernel with one other radio works great for me on speed and signal, but if I keep the radio the same as the ROM I am on then my signal sucks and my speed suffers and battery dies faster. But I don't want to talk batteries right now as I am having issues that are different than this.

Down slightly on the FK23 modem/kernel, FK09 ROM combo. Signal down again to 42%.
Checking data as time allows.
Question :why is the Fk23 kernel . zip labeled as ICS stock?

Quickest and easiest i have found to make changes is to keep a copy of the one click el26 kernel flash before phone starts to boot hold down vol up and power to go into recovery then flash the modem kernel and other zips that needed to be flashed reboot.
If I have helped in any way dont forget to say thanks and most important dont forget the developers.

Gingerbread for Verizon, with 3G, and Full Root, and De-bloated. Also did TouchWiz 4.5. Oh, its the real Deal, the real Verizon EFO1 Gingerbread base.
Worked alot on this the past few days, trying to get it out as a suprise to you Verizon guys by thursday, but man.....my back and arms are killing me, had to take some breaks.
Before the details.....
I need to get on a knee here and thank DirtyDroidX, and P3Droid. Because if it wasnt for them, I wouldnt have this build, I would be releasing a hacked Sprint GB with a half working 3G. Also, Spacemoose for his continuing support, and help with the Kernel, recovery, the questions, the calls, it never ends for that poor guy.
I want everyone to go out, and buy the Team BlackHat app TODAY as a thankyou to them for delivering this much needed resource to me, and Donate to DirtyDroidX, and to Spacemoose, they all pitched in alot of work. Im serious, get the TBH app, donate to me some other day. Im doing this for you, not the money.
Ok, details.
This is EFO1.
Verizons Gingerbread.
This is not so much a leak (though it could be considered a leak by me, im not leaking it) This IS the EFO1 that TBH has released today, however, I worked it so much that P3Droid agreed that it is my build, so I felt confident and not paranoid ( lol ) about releasing my build today.
What did I do?
Debloated
53 pieces of CRAPWARE EFF YOU Verizon!!
TouchWiz 5
Full 100% without question Root (damn, it was a ***** to, however i cant believe my newb ass did it)
FULL working 3G !!!!!!!!
Version 1.0 of Confidence and Paranoia is running the Stock VZW Kernel and Recovery. Spacemoose is working on a Kernel Fix for this right now. As it stands, its Either 3G on Stock Kernel+Root, or Custom Kernel+Recovery and Root, I decided the 3G was more important
Seriously, donate to those guys, by the app, so my relationship continues to be good with them and I can get stuff like this, as it is, I am giving them all the source material they want from this, so dont be surprised if this is on the TBH soon.

works great
Well, all my market apps are back on, so far everything working nicely. Even Netflix.
Even Intuits GoPayment app works. Its very finicky with the card swiper. The stock kernel is great. I suspect when we get the overclocked kernel, things will fly even faster!

Did you guys do a full Wipe right after install?. I installed this on a few tabs back and forth ranging from Froyo installs to this, including the Sprint Rom im working on as well.
Also, I noticed the past few weeks, Gingerbread doesnt like SDCards for some reason, its a pain in my ass as my card is a 32GB, but I formatted the card prior to flashing so i would have a fresh SD Card. But I also have like 12TB on my computer to toss an SDcard onto. Sucks to, slow cards.
hey jim for soe reason im not getting 3g on the new release i did everything to the T but nothing any ideas? might that me a modem issue?

I now know about this TW bug, and will explain in 2nd post
First things first. We do NOT yet have permission from our source to release the full build.
We do have permission to post screenshots and our findings. We have received tentative permission to release the TAR and One-Clicks in the coming days. We DO NOT have a specific date or time as of yet.
If and when we do receive permission to release the full build it will be posted here.
In the meantime we will try to test everything we can possibly think of and post the results here. We'll update as we find more.
Now would also be a good time to introduce you to the two newest members of the Team Sextape machine. Traylunch and MohoGalore will be helping us going forward with testing. This will be their first build testing and they will be posting their findings in this thread. We appreciate all the offers for help and hope to take some of you up on the offers in the future! We'll keep you updated as we find more opportunities.
Please feel free to ask questions! We'll answer all that we can (except for the, "Can you sneak me a copy early" question ).
Proceed to Post 2 for findings and Post 3 for screenshots.

Findings
All Internal Storage still wipes upon flash.
Still only JB modems are compatible.
Sync option is back in Toggles.
Samsung KB seems to be more accurate.
Several Bluetooth devices are compatible.
Hotspot functions same as previous JB leaks.
Rapid GPS locks.
Talkback works!
So far battery drain from FL04 appears to be eliminated.
More to come!

Has bluetooth been fixed on fl16? For some people including myself that is very important... I now this are test builds but at the same time this could very well our next official update. If anybody can test this it would be deeply appreciated.

I had one situation when I was re-installing apps where it said "system has been given Superuser permissions" several times and then did a warm boot. Also had another time where hung and had to restart by holding power for 5 seconds. Battery jumped down at that point - as it was at 2:30 am don't remember how much or if it really was a jump - the color changed, which is what I noticed. (Green to yellow)
Battery life beyond that seems to be on par with other JB builds.

That "system has been given Superuser permissions" issue is not specific to JB builds. Not sure what the cause is exactly. I've gotten it several times with the release ICS version as well prior to updating to FK23 and now FL04 (haven't gotten it on either of those yet).

The previous error was "shell has been given Superuser permissions" which seems to have been a combination of two issues:
1) An issue with superuser that ChainsDD fixed
2) (Possibly) the flash order that was being used for restores.
After the reboot have been unable to recreate the problem.

Going to flash this first chance I get an working on hooking up the kernel on AOKP for us... Itching like crazy to try thus love some miui
ROM works pretty good for me other than a few things that maybe are normal for miui but I'm not aware of because of my first time using it. I realized just now that the browser wouldn't go into landscape mode while typing this. Also I can't seem to get the camera to focus consistently. It seems like it works every once in a while but it could have just been working on first use due to resetting a couple of times. I didn't pay close enough attention. Also, not an issue but more of a question, how do I enable root access? Faster GPS requires root but I don't know how to enable it. Thanks for the ROM and any info. Loving it so far!
Edit... I found the root access.
The system ui error , is related to the gapps i linked, i found better ones for miui to be more specific, http://en.miui.com/thread-2840-1-1.html, flash there instead.
Also i found a mayor bug sadly this will make this rom pretty useless for now, when you get data to work, everytime you receive a phone call , phonewill crash and you wont be able to pick up the call. il leave the rom online for who ever whants to try it, but this bug just ruins everything, and i did not notice it untill today, few hours after relesing it.
Great to see you developing here Magic! I was just about to download when I read your last comment. Dang it I was stoked! Oh well, I'll wait because I know you will figure it out... thanks for taking on this ROM and we appreciate what you are doing! If I can help in any way let me know!:good:

sure will, iv probably figured out why that bug is happening, you see when you are in 3g, sprint cant have voice+data(on 3g only, lte does allow this) on when you recive a call, so the modem is supposed to turn of data and recive the call, but instead what miui does is ignore that and leave it on, thats why phone is crashing mostlikely, il have to talk with synergy or shellnit2 so they can help me out.
so yea i worked on miui today, and still cant get ril to works properly, even though iv implemented most of the smali from our cm10.1 telephony-common.jar to miuis's one. im really running out of ideas, tomorrow il probably try and decompile the phone apk see what i can do there. as always stay tunned.
So my phone has been having these weird lock ups when it's in deep sleep it will just stay locked on a black screen and I would have to pull the battery. I will list the roms I have used and the trouble shooting I have done. I think it might be something with TW since CM10 by Hakcenter works perfect and does not lock up even after 3 weeks of testing but I can't stand the volume bugs and microphone bugs so I couldn't keep it as a daily.
Trouble shooting
-I have not under volted or over volted any roms
-I have not under or over clocked the roms. They run at 300Mhz Min and 1000Mhz Max
- Switch governors from Pegasu to Smartassv2
- Tried 4 different Roms SHOStock v1.0 and v1.1, Project X 3.3, 3.4 and 3.6, Recalked in JB Latest Deodex, Jellyverse Latest
- I am NOT running any lockscreens
- Rotation setting is always set to manual aka auto rotation is off
- Latest PRL for Metro PCS
- Tried 3 Diff kernels for TW Agats Based and avoided 1.4.0 due to bugs
- Tried installing apps one by one painstakingly slow and they're not the culprits
- I am not running DS Powersaver
-Agats 1.3 and 1.4.2F Kernel
How do you recognize its locked up? Trying to power on? Does it show any light or flicker? Or just doesn't come on when hitting power button?
Mine I thought was locking up and such and it was my power button choosing when to respond
That's my 2 Cents lol
Hope you get it situated brother

The screen wont turn on from the power button but the power button works flawlessly when it doesn't lock up. I apply about 60-70% of the button down and it will unlock so the button is on point.
I have been through 2 phones with power buttons and the first time as you (not saying your ISN'T locking g up) I thought mine was locking up but it was the power button... So I had to plug it into a charger to power it on and then unlock.... Then ofcourse somebody introduce to me the app gravity that made me not need it.... Atleast until I got a new one

Yeah I had that problem with one of my old replacement S2's but thats not the case here. I checked it and I use gravity screen as well and it still locks up lol.
I'm sorry o couldn't be of more assistance brother ... Good luck  nd I'll let ya know if I find anything.... Subscribed

Did you try sxtp's kernal 0.5? I have been using that one and I get 1/10th the lockups I was getting with the ones cooked into the roms.
IMO, when you root and change roms, you have to expect a few lockups every now and then. Just part of the game with my phone.

I never once experienced a lock up like these prior to jellybean roms. I'm thinking it's something to do with TW since CM with JB 4.2.2 works flawlessly.
I thought I saw you post in the CM thread you were getting lockups with it too?

That CM thread i just offered advice to others to avoid lockups from what I've read. I'm pretty sure I didn't post it was happening on CM though.
Edit: Oh I did on the nightlies but that was dirty flashing the Official over the gentlemen's CM.
I'm the exact opposite, on TW roms no lockups ever, but on CM I always get 1 or 2 a day guaranteed.

Back up device to you're PC and Odin gb27 rooted full restore one click...
I think a clean slate would help...
Also...I would imagine , since you're a knowledgeable member , that you wipe data,cache,dalvik..when flashing. But do you ever go in and format the system...you can actually format everything but sdcards..and be alright. I never do. I just format the system. So nothing gets left behind.
Just my thoughts...on what I would do in this situation..good luck. Let me know how it goes.

Yes sir I've done all those. I even had to do the whole GB27 rooted full restore a few times not due to this problem but due to the Yellow triangle issue.

I agree, I've been looking around too but I keep stumbling upon the same types of replies. It's usually about messing with the cpu, a different lock screen or rogue app.

Been running CM10.1 The gentlemen's edition and have not had a single lock at all.
Locked up twice since flashing a TW rom. Does anyone know anything that could be causing this? What exactly is the google services glitch that i hear can cause this on some phones?

What kernel are you running? I know some people have problems with Agat's v1.4.2 and v1.3 seems to work better for them.

It happens on both 1.3 and 1.4.2F. I really can't seem to figure out what is causing it and i don't think a logcat will actually show anything.

So your device is unresponsive, even when plugging in a charger? If this is the case, you may not even be able to grab a logcat. I would say this definitely sounds like a kernel issue, but on all those different versions... doesn't lead me to believe that's the case. And this only happens on TW based roms? Multiple Roms by multiple developers... Do they all include the AIO mod? I ran into major issues placing my theme into the latest AIO.
digiblurROM MK3 S3 Deodex - 2014.01.17
ATTENTION Thin Skinned Users: Dry humor ahead 1 post.
If you've ventured into the Note2 forums you've seen my ROM before...it's time for an S3 version!
I've always enjoyed a nice simple to the point ROM on my phone. It seems many ROMs start out as this but tend to stray quickly so I have shared mine for everyone to hate or enjoy. If you are looking for some heavily themed ROM with 68 notification toggles, everything turned purple, etc, then press the back button now.
I've been working on a slimmed down cleaned up ROM for the Galaxy S3, it's similar to the one I created for the Note2 in the past. It is based on the MK3 Android 4.3 update so you will need to be upgraded to this point and have a custom recovery installed. KNOX is not included in the ROM but was developed/tested on a device with a KNOX bootloader without any issues. If you do not have the MK3 bootloader you will need to flash the S3 wifi fix after this ROM is flashed. This ROM does NOT contain any modem or bootloader flashes!
What the ROM does NOT have:
- Some cute build name
- A cool team name
- beta or alpha version number
- themes
- crazy zombie jumping out the phone for a boot screen
- kiddie boot sounds
- annoying Sprint boot animation/sound
- dumb Sprint shut down animation/sound
- stupid camera shutter sound during screen shots and camera usage(turn off in camera settings)
- idiotic 777468(SPRINT) code requirement on the ##DEBUG# menu (entire prompt is gone)
- MSL code checks on ##DATA# Editing (to quickly turn off LTE without a reboot or MSL code)
- tons of Samsung & Sprint bloat
- 1.21 gigawatts of overclocking
- unnecessary carrier customizations that screws up your Sensorly points
- eyeball icon in the taskbar (removed properly)
- redundant "You have lost data..blah blah" message when switching to roaming (we have a triangle on our signal already!)
- full battery charge notification
- sympathetic support team
- Sprint connection optimizer toggling your wifi and spying on the usage of the neighborhood's open wifi access point
- KNOX garbage and knags
- Headphone volume level too loud nag
What it does have:
- 1X signal type display corrected (shame on you Sprint!! Tested and works!)
- modified battery icons with battery percentage
- PRL Write enabled in the ##DATA# menu (-PRL Thread Here-)
- 4-in-1 reboot mod
- A mod that announces "I'm watching porn!" every 30 seconds if you write those dumb 00001 PRLs (I wish!)
- All apps multi-window mod built from proper MK3 base files
- KISS principle
- Dry humor in the ROM first post and continued posts throughout the thread by the ROM author
- Google Maps 6.14.2 w/KML layer usage (remove updates if it gets auto-updated)
- Blacked out Google Hangouts (the way it should look!)
Screenshots
None needed as it is stock. Just a status bar shot is necessary

Flashing/Upgrading:
Some have manually flashed up to 4.3 without applying the 4.3 KNOX bootloader, this does require the WIFI fix due to the mismatch of software. There might be other pieces missing such as NVRAM modem tweaks so I personally do not use this method. The only downside to the 4.3 bootloader is tripping the KNOX flag in the bootloader but my device is long out of warranty anyways.
I always recommend a proper wipe of the system and data when do a ROM install, it may not be required but I have not tested this nor will I help the dirty flashers with issues. The choice is yours... If you flash any other mods around the forums on top of this base just remember you could be undoing things brought to you in this ROM.
Add-ons:
-Wifi Fix for those with the older 4.1.x bootloader-
Changelog
2014/01/17 - Initial public release
Since some of you can't read this in the default font and color I've enlarged it and put it in red for you:
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MK3 BOOTLOADER YOU WILL NEED TO FLASH YOUR STANDARD WIFI FIX AFTER THIS ROM IS FLASHED
-DOWNLOAD digiblurROM S3 MK3 2014.01.17-
-DOWNLOAD removed APKs for digiblurROM S3 MK3 2014.01.17-

Lol just kidding, I had n urging to do with the creation of this rom
Question on the ROM
I believe you've de-bloated this and shrunk it quite a bit because the normal MK3 is almost 900MB and this is down to 570MB
Why are the AOSP compiles so small - around 200MB-ish + another 80-100 MB of Google Apps?
Are carrier based ROMS just inherently bloated?
Call Record working?

Usually when you have issues, it helps to read the entire OP
The scenario here is no different than it is for the stock rom in terms of wifi.
I'd really like to see the "I'm watching porn" mod working.

For the Note2 followers watching this one... The sister Note2 build has been updated to 4.3 as well here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2157332
This is my first time using DigiBlur and I am in love with it. By far the smoothest MK3 ROM I've used as my daily driver. I have not seen or noticed any flaws whatsoever. The usual double-restart was required when flashing the Hotspot mod (lost data after the install, restarted again for 100% working).
Anyone who wants a crisp, clean MK3 ROM, look no further. DigiBlur is where its at. :good::good::victory:

Everyone,
Remember when you flash stuff such as other mods you can/will remove features of this ROM. I would suggest Xposed Framework with the Wanam Xposed module for additional changes.
