-first of all download these 2 archives: pascal2 kernel and beta build - v1.2 frome my first post , these are for CM10.
-unpack them with 7zip, inside the Oma_Odys_Loox_JB_CM10_4.1.2_v1.2 are two important folders
-first /rockdev/image inside this one must replace kernel.img with that extracted frome pascal2
-Now with the tablet off run as an administrator the RKAndroidTool now holding down the (-)volume button insert the usb cable and wait to see if windows automatically installs the drivers if not do it manually necessary drivers are in USB Driver
-after the program (RKAndroidTool) recognizes the device click on eraseIDB after this operation is complete check the box loader and click run
-wait about 5 minutes after which the device will start to boot
-first time after flash device automatically enter in CWM recovery for a possible application of fixes ,jost reboot the tab from cwm menu
edit
Jelly Bean 4.1.1 official version, released for pascal 2.
I do not know who's who cloned but actually seems to be the same tab
this rom works pretty well and is perfectly compatible with our tab
http://www.bqreaders.com/pt/transferencias-pascal-2.html
AOSP Jb 4.2.2 http://crewrktablets.arctablet.com/?p=1291
use pascal2 Homebrew Kernel or T10 stock
if something goes wrong and you have to Flash the original firmware see attached files

Hi, I can not get the USB drivers to install, I have alcatel t10, windows 7 x86.
Upon forcing the USB drivers installation, clicking the have disk and pointing to the USB Drivers folder, then selecting the RK29 devices. After that on the device manager, I see the RK29 Devices with yellow exclamation and a status of "The device can not start(error 10)"
Rebooted my laptop but the status is still the same.

KindleWater v3.0
KindleWater is now a part of BreakDroid all in one tool. I am also slowly backing off of Kindle development because of the Nexus 7
The new version is bundled as a part of BreakDroid (A multi device rooting app). Just download breakdroid from the download link below and you're good to go!
Downloads:
Download the newest version of BreakDroid from BreakDroid's website northmendo.com/breakdroid
Credits:
ST3P_2 (Me) writing the UI and some of the scripts, and slimming the SDK to the essentials
northmendo (co author) for writing the scripts and hosting the website
pokey9000 for fastboot
Team Win for TWRP recovery
Common fixes:
Try opening up terminal on your Mac and typing "adb devices" without the quotes. It should list a number like 29491656. If it doesn't the app isn't going to work.
Try opening terminal and typing "adb kill-server". Then try the adb devices trick above, it should now list a number.
Try restarting your Mac and kindle
Try rerunning KindleWater.
Changelog:
0.6.4 Changed recovery to TWRP and changed boot loader to the new FireFireFire 1.4a!
0.6.2 Became a part of BreakDroid with the 6.3 root
2.1.8 Added instructions for flashing your first ROM
2.1.7 Changed some command timing
2.1.6 Sorted out some su access problems
2.1.3 Fixed some bugs
2.1.2 Improvements to the rooting script
2.1.1 Added the new CWM recovery that doesn't have to be downloaded! 2.1.1= 100% automatic
2.1.0 Fixed some problems with ADB and added a cleaner app to remove older versions of ADB
2.0.0 (first version co authored by northmendo) Basically rewrote everything to automate everything except recovery download (we can't get permission from its author)
1.1.0 Changed some code to speed things up, fixed a misspelling, and rewrote some parts of the tutorial to make things more understandable
1.0.1 Fixed some things requested by northmendo, the creator of the USB.ini installer and ADB installer scripts
1.0.0 Created the application (duh)

To install the recovery after you're already rooted just follow the instructions for installing TWRP here.
If you were having trouble with the kindle not rebooting after installing ADB, download and run the ADB fixer for 2.0.0 and run it. Then you can run the "2. Root" from the main menu and it should work!

Flash the STOCK ROOTED ROM using my (steps below)
1. Download Odin - Odin 3.07 --- Not a must for rooting but great tool to have!
2. Download CWM6 - There are newer versions but I know this works! - Thanks AndyYan - CWM6.0.1.2
Original thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34479219
3. Downloaded - Stock Rooted UCLJ3 ROM - STOCK ROOTED UCLJ3 ROM - Android 4.0.4
4. Place the zipped STOCK ROOTED folder on your External SD Card --- In the root of the sdcard --- what that means is don't put it in a folder! - You can do this by putting your card in your computer or laptop, if you have a media reader or usb adapter Buy One Here - once its on the external sd card place it back in the phone
5. Boot into CWM6 -
5a - Power off phone
5b - Power up phone while holding the down volume key - This boots you into CWM6
6. Once in CWM6 you can update to the ROOTED STOCK ROM
7. Select - Install zip from sdcard
8. Select - choose zip from external sdcard
9. Select - UCALJ3 - Stock.zip
From there just follow the prompts if any!
Once the update is done all should be well!
If I failed to credit anyone or their forum post please let me know!
Just an addition: if you're already on a stock ROM (without ROOT) and want to root without changing the ROM you're now using, just not flash the Stock UCLJ3 zip and instead flash the latest SuperUser or SuperSU zip found floating around the Internet.

Hi friend "AndyYan" then if I have a stock ROM installed as non-root in my case is that ICS 4.0.4 update through Kies, I can then just install direct CWM6 SD-card or necessarily need to use Odin.
Since I am not very clear because download Odin? supposedly the stock ROM if I will install directly to SD-card and run with CWM6 there?
Excuse my ignorance, but I'm too new, and I'm afraid to leave my phone useless?
Thanks

Updated via KIES, right? Then you need Odin to flash CWM. You can't get CWM directly from SD.
Sent from Google Nexus 4 @ Android 4.4 KRT16M
Thanks, but what if I do the steps indicated by the friend "ll81702", because as I said I have already ICS 4.0.4, cause some conflict if I restart the UCLJ3 ROOTED STOCK ROM - Android 4.0.4 indicating the guide or only one set you need superuser or SuperSU and of course install with Odin the CWM6.0.1.2, which option would you recommend
Thanks...
I am not sure I understand your question. Can you rephrase?
Sent from my SGH-I927 using xda app-developers app
I think skynet is trying to say that because he already has the stock firmware, would the rooted one conflict with his current one, and he would like your input on whether to install the superuser.zip or the cwm via Odin.
Sent from my SGHI927 using Tapatalk
If you just want to root your phone you just need to load cwm6 using Odin then place the superuser zip on your sdcard. Boot into cwm6 and load the zip.
Sent from my SGH-I927 using xda app-developers app
Exactly as it says the friend "LaizureBoy", but what would happen if I use the method of the guide, I could return it to its normal state (without root), because as I see the method of Friend "ll81702" the UCALJ3-Stock.zip this is STOCK ROOTED, for as I understand this would only be root, then you can not remove the root
Thank you for your comments and support. :good:

Thank you II81702 and AndyYan. I have the SGH-I927... I originally used ODIN to flash the carrrier free kernal... but I noticed something strange- upon reboot, it just came up with the Samsung logo and stopped there.
I was then able go into download mode again and flashed the at&t rooted ROM from the OP on 12-6-11. When it rebooted, it got hung on the samsung logo as well.
I then flashed the CWM6 and then booted up in recovery mode.
I installed the Stock Rooted UCLJ3 ROM from the external sd card and then rebooted.
now when it first reboots, it starts out with the samsung logo then 10 sec later, it get brings up the word ANDROID and gets hung there...
So am back to square one. : crying:

The kernel you're using is an overclock kernel, its the same one i use!
Hi sorry for asking this, have heard of software called "UnlockRoot Pro" according to this by simply connecting the device to the software that makes root or unroot the device is a paid software, but actually works on a SGH-i927 (Captivate Glide) .

It ended up working fine. It just took about 8 minutes for the phone to locate the gps... then it was ok after that.... did some research and I will try do some mods to the gps/sysconf files and see if it helps it find the gps faster.

Yupz works fine, once you figured out what it says
For some reason SPFlashing didn't work with my acer liquid e2 (just as oneclickroot tool didn't work for me)
So i rooted my Acer Liquid E2 with "Framaroot" from the XDA
Installed it on SD and in Android installed the app, Very easy
That said for Root: now CWM
1: Make sure your device is rooted already!
2. Install "Mobileuncle MTK Tools from the Android Market" ( Android Market Link )
3. Download the latest CWM 6.0.3.2 based recovery for Acer Liquid E2 (Doesn't matter if it's Dual or Single sim), your Liquid E2)
4. Rename it to "V370-CWMrecovery-6032.img"
5. Place it in the "root" of your TF card
6. Start Mobileuncle and give it Root access
7. Choose "Recovery Update"
8. You should see Recovery file in SDCard -> "V370-CWMrecovery-6032.img"
9. Confirm with "OK"
10. Reboot in recovery -> press -> "OK"
11. Enjoy your CWM Recovery version 6.0.3.2 (Not touch version)
12 NOTE! On some pages the say the recovery flash is not forever (until next reboot) but it seems it is on mine,
i pulled the battery for more then 10 seconds and rebooted into recover, it was CWM recovery!
If it isn't for you follow the next steps
1. get RootExplorer or Total Commander
2. once started, go to your root folder and go into system
3. locate "recovery-from-boot.p" and back it up to your SD somewhere, then delete it
4. now follow the above steps from Nr: 6 to reflash CWM recovery with Mobileuncle
5. You should now have permenent CWM recovery!
Be sure to make a nandroid backup of your system as first thing to do

Using ADB to root your device is very easy if you know some commands you can do any thing you like using ADB.

You can use dd to write the aboot.img of 4.2.2 back. This will allow the old Loki flash method.

I had the same problem until I ran across this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2698267 {Acually the same you quoted}
If you'll go down to the download Step #3 and copy that zip file to your computer and unzip it and run the bat file it will install TWRP v2.7. Of course you'll have to install the LG USB drivers and install from your computer. (Won't work otherwise) Also be sure and use the second down connection for USB on your tablet - M-something, but not the charging one.
Also - get a good reboot app so you won't have to hold the buttons.

You're quoting an old post (way back in April 2014).
1st - Do you have a recovery installed?
2nd - If so, you should update to at least TWRP 2.800
I may be confused about exactly what you are doing...now if you're only booting with the buttons (power-sound down, sound up) that is the message you get and you have to push 'power' 2 times to enter recovery. Are you doing that when you see the display of android recovery after using the cold boot, then the volume and power buttons?? And you are expecting to see TWRP opening, but instead of going straight to TWRP recovery - you're getting what you say 'Android Recovery', or Factory Reset?
Post back so we will understand please. Hope I'm not being confusing in my answers...

I know that is an old post. I was trying to flash the TWRP recovery without any downgrade of the software, since this method was suposed to work with the software version V50020b.
I simply want to flash TWRP recovery, the tablet is all stock with root (TowelRoot), but I just realised that I have to downgrade the software (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58198471&postcount=44), and wanted to avoid this! I already softbricked the tablet with only 3h of usage, and now I'm a little afraid! lol
Do you now any method that works without the downgrade trick?
Thanks.
Flash TWRP with flashify (root) - (from Play Store).
This *should* work & if not I think no harm will come ... Flashify.app just won't 'work' if things are not correct.
Good luck!

I would shut the tablet completely down.
You should be able to use the 'buttons' to get to 'Factory Reset'. Do what you know: Power/+down then all 3. If you can't get to TWRP, it must not be installed.
Check with a command window. Be sure & use 'su'. Ask a guru 'how'...I may not be 'expert' enough!

Just follow the method suggested by Raizen above. But there are two things I want to add:-
1. The drivers work successfully on windows 8 and 10. It's just that you have to turn off driver signature verification for a while. So don't worry if you have w8 or 10.
2. After flashing kitkat you will get a notification to update to Marshmallow and not lollipop.
P.s.- My opinion on Marshmallow- Everything's fine except the battery backup. I don't know if the issue has been resolved now. But I faced more than 30% drain overnight with location and WiFi off. I'm on CyanogenMod 12.1 now and I find it much better both in terms of battery backup and functionality.
Thanks guys. I will try it and let you know.

After entering recovery mode, you will see a dead android bot. Below, you will see NO COMMAND
Here, hold down the power button and press the volume up button once. Then release both buttons.
Now, you are successfully in recovery mode.
