Here are all related files (I think). These files are from stock 2.3.4 rom which comes with VipMobile phones.
Swype seem to works fine, but Samsung keyboard doesn't. Can anyone help porting this keyboard to work with 2.3.5 ?
I tried copying files, but seems that don't work (Samsung Keyboard disappears)

any 3x4 keypad option please
TouchPal has something similar.
You should definitely try it.
I will not post a link now, because I still can't. >.<
Just search TouchPal Keyboard in the market. It's free! =)

do you have found 3x4 keypad for samsung??
i suggest you to download official rom for that samsung galaxy, and after that, you may take apk keyboard 3x4 from that official rom.
and after that, paste to system/apps.
and restart your smartphone..

But how ?
Extract the stock rom package, you will find system folder, inside it all system apps, copy keyboard, put in system/app in you phone. Set permissions rw--r--r and reboot

[APP] Samsung Music App - Fully Resizable Widget

Hi,
This is a really dirty fix but it works! Extracted and replaced /res/xml/music_widget_info.xml with the file attached. I've replaced the line android:resizeMode="vertical" with android:resizeMode="horizontal|vertical" and zipped the file back up again.
A little more to it then that since apktool can't compile the app but it's working
Just put the apk into /system/app/ or extract your own and replace the xml file.
Enjoy!

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/18412241/MusicPlayer.apk
Doesn't work..
I cant resize the music player horizontal.
Thank's
Just tested it from Dropbox myself and it does work. Downloaded the APK and overwrote the original one in /system/app/
This version came from Omega 7.1 so is deodexed. If your ROM isn't deodexed you'll need to delete the MusicPlayer.odex file in /system/app/.
I haven't got that xml folder?

4.2 keyboard on K3 build issue

I'm building myself a K3-based ROM and have pulled a working 4.2 LatinIMEGoogle.apk from another known working K3-based ROM but for whatever reason, on first boot, I get keyboard FCs. I have removed the Samsung keyboard as well. Am I missing something other than just the single apk?

Yes, you are going to need the lib file that is associated with the keyboard for it to work properly. If you run a search for a cwm flashable 4.2 keyboard it should contain a /system/lib folder and a /system/app folder. Copy the contents of both into your new ROM in the same corresponding folders.

Bingo. That's exactly what I needed. I knew it was a missing lib but wasn't 100%. Thank you.
For future reference, the lib file needed is libjni_latinimegoogle.so.

[Q] SamsungIME.apk and SamsungIME.odex

Hello.
I was trying to flash the ● [14 Nov] ● Note 3 Keyboard with the iOS7 Look & Black sPlanner WIdget.. I deleted the SamsungIME.apk and the SamsungIME.odex files and flashed the iOS7 keyboard, but when I turn on the phone, the keyboard is not there. Then, I tried to flash the stock keyboard and when I turn on the phone the only thing I get is a bunch of Samsung Keyboard FCs.
I think this is caused because of the SamsungIME.odex file missing, because that file is not there when I look on system/app. Could someone send both files to me, please?
I use Android 4.1.2 (stock).
Sorry for my bad English.

I think the mod is for stock 4.3 firmware and not for your android version

They really should say that in the post.
I'll flash the DN3 later and see if this is the cause.
Thank you!
