[Q] CM9 on evo4g no google play

Hello, i have JMZtaylor's CM9 port for the Evo 4g installed, the 7/01 nightly. my question is when i try to flash the update for 7/05 and 7/06, then flash the recommended gapps-ics-20120429-signed.zip and after it boots up, there is no Google Play store. any help is appreciated, thanks.

So I figured out how to fix my problem. I'm not really sure if there is a better way, but what I did was re-flashed the original version, the 20120621 I believe. Then from there I just flashed gapps and then updated right to the 7/06 update. I'm not really sure why that after doing the updates regularly, my gapps just stopped loading. I would only flash the update and not gapps, until this last update because when the phone booted up I didn't have the play store anymore. So I hope this helps anyone out there that may have had the same issue as I did.

there ya go jelly bean market...works for all android versions i think but im running the same rom as u but 7\08 and please check this link out im making a new cm9 nightlies based off the rom im using please thank me and give suggestions.

[Q] Latest Jelly Bean ROM for HTC One X

Hi.
I have an unlocked HTC One X bought from Amazon, shipped from Europe (Vodafone one)
For almost all November I have waited for the Jelly Bean OTA but it seems that it won´t come to my phone so I just rooted it and wiped everything in order to explore the Custom ROM´s option.
On one hand there is the CyanoGenMod which appears to be not a stable ROM.
On the other I see there is one form ParanoidAndroid (pa_evita-2.54...)
I need the forum´s help in order to find out which one is the best option right now and if this is still better than wait for the Vodafone JellyBean roll out.

buddy.. no one here will ever give you an answer if you ask" what is the best??" coz best is really a relative word....
the link below has all the roms listed, please go through them, see and pick a few on what you like.
after that you can google to see the reviews for those roms.

Our ROMs don't have evita in their name.... make sure you flash for the correct device

Since you want JB-ROM that badly , with your current CID you won't be able to update your hboot to later versions to be able to support JB-ROMs so the choices you can choose are AOSP / AOKP / MIUI . Since you have problems with CyanogenMod ( AOSP ) and MIUI is not a good choice either . Go for IceColdJelly ( AOKP )

Super jelly bean Vodafone Smart ii!!!!!

Hello everyone I'm a member of htcmania and one fellow member developed jelly bean for our device which in fact is a port well everything is good but a fix is needed to make it work couse we're stuck its needed someone with skills for fixing update scripts the zip installs but we just return to our previous rom

This Super jb rom of galaxy ace wich is modded for Vodafone Smart 2 is not installing and installation get aborded.
i've replaced it with some of meta-inf files of my stock rom and then it installed without bo error! but is going to endless bootloop.
please help me devolopers?
this device had not ics or jb update or custom rom yet.

I would install a different rom like jelly smart im running on it and it is very good

[Q] Help with installation of MIUI on Xperia Ion

Hi guys,i've been using cm based roms and stock based roms for a long time but never gave interest in miui roms but after watching a video of miui v5 on XS..i liked it a lot..so now i'm preparing to install on my xperia ion.But as i'm new to this I'm really confused about the download and installation procedure.
First up, Download: For downloads there are two versions of Xperia Ion Threads in official miui website.
(1) The one made by @kin912 which is updated every week http://en.miui.com/download-106.html and
(2) The one by @ganeshbiyer which is not active right now http://en.miui.com/download-116.html
Now coming to @kin912's thread there are two versions,without swap by @kin912 and with swap by @Bugly Astard! Now the problem is that mine is an LT28H and I don't know about swap and anything about miui,but i already downloaded the latest version[4.7.18] by @kin912 from his thread now my questions are what is Swap? and wether this rom has Google Play Store in it or do i need to manually flash the Gapps and other thing,i've read about the installation procedure but as i am not familiar about different LT28 versions i'm confused! So please anyone give me the installation procedure for miui and please tell me if i downloaded the correct rom @kin912 or i need to download @ganeshbiyer rom for my LT28H!! Don't try MiUi on Xperia ION.I have tried MiUi and it's performance is very bad I will not recommend you to install this rom.:angel: Anyway to install ghost kernal first extract Ghost_Kernel_V3.zip and flash the boot.img file using flashtool in Fastboot Mode or place the Ghost_Kernel_V3.zip file on you storage and install it using TWRP or CWM recovery.Then Install this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498755.I guess this rom has google play stores and apps.

i need help to downgrade 2.3.4 to 2.3.3

Hi Guys i have problem by Accident i Updated my Xperia play to 2.3.4 and i tried download 2.3.3 -368- but its not working the device stuck and be very slowly when i flash this rom -2.3.3 .368- in my device and the unlikely iforget the build number of my orginal rom and thats what's make it more difficult to me when i was surfing internet i found abulid number of another version of 2.3.3 rom i guess it's the same of my orginal rom -the bulid number 4.0.A.2.364 - Can Any one please upload this rom because i really need it to fix my device and another Question its a stock rom right ?! and sorry about my weak english Thnx BTW this is my firs time i make Thread IN XDA and sure will not be the final.
