[Q] screen shot using Jedi mind trick x1? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

How to take screen shots using Jedi mind trick x1?

i'm pretty sure just like every other cm9 or cm10 rom, holding vol down + power button. Alternatively, you can set the power menu's options as a screenshot in the settings.

How do you do that? Volume down and power doesn't work

Make sure you hold it down long enough.

Hold it

It brings up the recent apps before it can take a screen shot

That means you're holding down the home button first. You have to press power and then home and hold them both until it takes the screen shot.

its like a quick 1-2 hold. try the volume down and power button. You can try both ways power then vol or vice versa.
Thumb on vol- and index finger on power. Count to 3 and press both buttons at once hold until you hear the shutter go off. It will automatically save to your gallery

Are you on 4.1.2 stock rom, or did you install a custom rom? If you're on stock, I believe it is hold down the power button and press the home button. Screenshot should appear.
