Hey,
Before I begin, to say, share and help anyone, I want to state that this is NOT my work.. I have not in any way made this or helped the dev in making this.. I merely stumbled upon it while browsing the xda forums.. I don't even know who made it, all I had was a link.. I want to share this with the wildfire s community.. But as always there is a catch..(every thing is not easily gettable in life..)
Requirements:
1. Cm10, jelly bean versions only..(Paranoid Android not supported..)
2. Well, if you haven't guessed it already then root explorer and root access..
3. A good brain that understands the instruction and follows them correctly..
4. if you don't come under the above criterion its best advised get Cm10........
Now, their are two ways to do this..
1. either push the zip to root via recovery or adb..
2. or use the solid explorer beta2 app to put all the required files in the correct places in root with the permission rw-r-r(644)..
1
Now, I will assume you knw how to flash a zip.... then the steps that have to be followed are..
1. flash the zip in recovery..(please make a backup before flashing... don't blame me later if anything happens that shud not have happend..)
2. reboot..
3. select the default launcher.. as the SecLauncher2 one..
4. remove the old launcher via sold explorer or link2sd or titanium(optional)
Voila!! u have the touchwiz launcher installed up and running..
2
I had problem flashing it via recovery,( maybe you won't have the prob but just in case...)
1. extract the zip via solid explorer..
2. goto Touchwiz_5_JB_Pico\system\app and copy the apk to root\system\app folder... set permission rw-r-r(644)
3. goto Touchwiz_5_JB_Pico\system\etc\permissions folder and copy its constituents to root\system\etc folder... set permission rw-r-r(644)
4. goto Touchwiz_5_JB_Pico\system\framework copy the constituents their and paste them to root\system\framework folder.. set permission rw-r-r(644)
5. goto Touchwiz_5_JB_Pico\system\lib and copy the constituents their and paste them to root\system\lib folder.. set permission to rw-r-r(644)
6. reboot..
7. select the default launcher.. as the SecLauncher2 one..
8. remove the old launcher via sold explorer or link2sd or titanium(optional)
Voila!! u have the touchwiz launcher installed up and running..
Screenshots and zip at the end of the post..
Note:- for complete touchwiz look download the touchwiz 5 theme from playstore for cm10..(I did the same..)
Disclaimer: The above is not for someone who doesn't knw the first thing abt root.. and shud not go ahead and try this.. If anything happens to your device, you have yourself to blame...
Developers: All Cm10 devs if you read this than a small request, the launcher included in the cm10 version is eating 13 mb, where as this launcher eat only 4 mb.. thus freeing up much needed space.. I would request you to consider merging this in your next release...
Ps- any feedback regarding the launcher is welcome.. I am using it.. You'all shud go ahead and use it too if you like touchwiz...

hi All,
i just wana share to all how to change bootsound in our Stock ROM. Your phone must be rooted.
1. Choose your any short music (~8sec) and convert it to ogg format in your PC. Save it as 'poweron.ogg' and copy to your sd.
2. go to root. Look for folder 'etc'. Use root explorer or file expert. Change permission to r/w first.
3.Find file named 'poweron.ogg'. Rename it as 'poweron.ogg.bak' so that you wont overwrite the original sound. Copy the audio file you created before and paste in here. put permission as r/w r- r-
4.Reboot your phone. Your new music will play nicely. Enjoy..

I think this tut is for advance users. But others can try
1. Get your "framework-res.apk" in /system/framework
2. Use apktool to decomplie that file. (I recommend apktool becoz I often use it )
- Command to decomplie: apktool d framework-res.apk framework-res
3. Download source file here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?4u6y6udecy60dei
Click to collapse
4. In extracted folder which u get from "framework-res.apk", find "anim" folder in \res
5. Extract source file in step 3, u will get 2 folder:
- anims
- other_files
6. Copy files from both folders in step 5 into "anim" folder in step 4
7. Open "integers.xml" in /res/value and find this line:
<integer name="config_shortAnimTime">150</integer>
Click to collapse
then add the following lines after it:
<integer name="config_activityShortDur">150</integer>
<integer name="config_activityDefaultDur">220</integer>
Click to collapse
8. Complie your "framework-res.apk" with command: apktool b framework-res new.apk
9. You will get a file "new.apk" but dont use it. Open extracted folder which u get in step 2, u will find a folder "build" and a file is "resource.arsc" inside
10. Now you need to use 7zip. Right click on that resource file, choose 7zip > add to archive and select original framework-res.apk with type is zip.
11. Open "new.apk" in step 8 and original "framework-res.apk" with 7zip. Drag and drop "anim" and xml folders in "new.apk" to "framework-res.apk"
12. It's finished. U can use the file "framework-res.apk" now and see the transition.
Have fun! If u have question, just ask and I will answer

thanks, working well on nims's sonygenmod.
hey guys i read that many wanted htc's lockscreen without those shortcut icons.
So here I present it to you.
Instructions:
Just flash in CWM recovery and enjoy and also thank me.
just for stock sense roms (android 2.3.5)
Dont know if it will work on deodexed stock rom.
Purely works on odexed stock roms(android 2.3.5).
[DIY]
1.) Pull the HtcLockscreen.apk from system/app
2.) On your computer rename the file to Htclockscreen.zip .
3.) Open it using any archive manager and go to res/drawable-mdpi
4.) Extract png named lockscreen_shortcutpanel.png
5.) Edit it in any software which supports transparent pngs ( example paint.net on windows)
And make it completely transparent.
6.) Now again open Htclockscreen.zip and go to res/drawable-mdpi and exchange the file we edited.
7.) Now rename the archive to .apk and push it back to system/app on your phone.
8.) Now real part - when you'll restart you'll see the shortcuts- don't panic I am sure you did it right . This time the shortcuts won't have the background if you followed everything correctly.
9.) Install an app you know you'll never use.
10.) Change all the shortcuts to that app and........ And unistall that app and go see your beautiful lockscreen.
Please post and tell if it worked.
It will cause that is what the zip has and it worked on my friends wfs too. Also don't forget to thank me and share this with everyone who has sense with this type of lockscreen. You can post it any where just give me a little credit bcoz typing a tutorial on phone kills fingers
not working on deodexed rom's

Only Sense 3.5 has this feature... HTC's lockscreen (Sense 2.1 one) is buggy in WFS. I'll try it when I install Sense ROM again.
Won't flash for me.
Gives error 0
Installation aborted
Looks nice though, if you have any idea why, I'd be grateful.
Don't know man but if you say I'll create another package and pm you the link
I used app2 zip for making it .
Works for me all the time .
Currently on cm9 so why don't u just try extracting and copying the three files to the internal memory.
And thanks for the sense keyboard its easier to type now.

Paid apps that you share without permission are marked as "warez". Doesnt only refer to apps.
Don't worry about it, since you're not actually sharing root explorer in this case.

Hello Guys,
my name in Xarlond, I'm italian (so sorry for my bad english) and I follow this forum for some time, although it is the first time I have a question.
I'd like to know how I can disable this, useless for me, notification from my Xperia S. At the moment I get on the rom XS B-Room 5.1 (4.0.4 based) with the kernel RaymanFX 'ELiTE - V2 and bootloader unlocked. I do not try rocking performance, but full usability and a battery that last longer, so I'm good with these things.
To increase battery life, i'm using an app downloaded from the store that disables the data connection when the screen is locked and / or when I use the wifi network, but the notification in question is really annoying.
Can you tell me how can I remove it?
Thank you very much
I will help brother
