Hello. I have very strange problem with my Desire. When i flash any Sense ROM (Alex-V, Revolution, Runny Rom and others...) my phone work good. BTW.. i have a problem with signal indication... he's awlays ot 2 maximum 3 lines... but when signal is FULL phone's freez... and this happened only with sense roms.. when i'm with any CM7 rom .. i dont have problems.. signal is a 2-3 lines.. and when he goes full for 5-10 sec... phone working good.. but with sense roms he freez and i need to remove battery ...

Try changing radio image or ril. I usually advise not to play with it but since it's not working already, you have nothing to loose.

Hello everybody.
I have a Problem with my Cam.
I cant make any Videos, just make some pictures with it.
When i start the cam app it works for like 5 sec and then my Desire makes a Reboot.
following tests i allready tried:
- I have Downgrade it back to standart android 2.1 and the cam work.
- I flashed Froyo (LeeDroid) Rom on it and the cam cause a reboot after 5 sec / same Problem with HD ROM.
i have my phone since 3 month.
i have root and HD ROM on it now
someone git any idea =( i am going crazy cuz of this ^^°.

Probably a old radio.
Know what your doing when updating radio's, DO NOT PULL THE BATTERY DURING THE PROCESS

Since i can't ask a question in developer forums i will ask it in here..
Im using mike's ARHD 4.0 beta 4 for weeks now and it always worked perfect!
But since the last week or 2 weeks i'm having some issues...
like:
GPS can't find satallites or it takes a long time to finally find one.
When i open the market then it doesn't fully load the market and i get an error message like network connectivity failure.
it connects with 3g instead of H
I don't know what to do!, Full Whipe and reinstalling the rom didn't help...
could it be the Radio? im living in the Netherlands ( Holland ) and i use this radio:
26.03.02.26_M
don't seem to have these problems when i use 3.6 :S:S:S:S
But i want GINGERBREAD!!!!

Are you using the correct RIL for that radio rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1040986)
You could try RCMix HD 5.9.7, it has 2.3.3 and sense 2.1, or CoreDroid HD GB v5.4, both of them are really good gingerbread roms.
I ve tried one or Two Roms but they all seem to have Problems getting a GPS fix
just wondering if anyone uses GPS alot and knows of a working GB Rom

sygic aura 3.0 works great with LeDrOiD 3.0.5, at least for me.

Can you tell me how to push this file like it mentions in the post.
Have been having problems with GPS since CM7 stable, never had problems with it before.

Could be just the rom. I know that some roms don't work properly for everyone. Just keep trying roms and if they all fail, then check to see if your GPS is actually working properly.
GPS is fine on InsertCoin A2SD V29
Using Ginger Villain 2.3 in combination with radio 32.56.00.32U_5.17.05.08 and HTC-Ril_2.2.1.1003G no problem with the GPS.
I had a problem with GPS freeze but tried some different radios and get a fix in 30 seconds....
I think ALL Gingerbread ROM has a working GPS..I've tried a lot of ROM and it always works.

I don't have permission for posting in dev section so I'm asking my question here (yes,I did go through the forum n google to find a solution)
From the time I've started using custom roms,my camera app is not working properly. It crashes after 3-4 shots n my phone reboots. My phone freezes on the preview screen for a few seconds n then restarts. At first I thought its a rom issue but I've faced this same problem on reflex s,rcmix 2,leedroid 2.5 and SGBS and this problem never existed in the original rom.
What could be causing this? I'm using s off desire with 1gb ext partition (created using clockwork recovery screen)..

Did you do full wipe before install ROM ?
If not, please do so.
If yes, I don't know the answer.
You can try install default ROM and start all over again though.

I'm scared to try the stock rom as I don't know what my original country was as I bought my phone from the local market without any warranty...!

try the sense 2.1 camera - it should work. To be honest I never had this problem when trying those sense-based ROMs, so no other idea.
Try flashing a newer/different radio

I'm using sgbs rite now with sense 2.1 camera...before this I had rcmixs,reflex s,Lee droids...all had similar issue,some more than the other..
BTW off topic does anyone know how I can get only sense 3 weather on sense 2.1? And which is a good sense 3 rom with stock android lock screen working...as sense 3 lock screen n caller screen is kinda annoying!

I've been using a ICS rom for som time , but sense was missing to me and I reverted to Gingerbread sens rom again.
After reflashing with a rom that I have used before , I found that when I talk withsomeone , the sound is coming from the back speaker. When I press the loudspeaker button , the sound only gets louder.
I have tried several roms , and all are the same. This is the reason to think that the problem was caused by the ICS rom.
Does someone have any Idea what to do?
For start I'd try posting in the right place.
