After all the app updates yesterday getting a sign-in error for my gmail

But all my services are working, gmail, play, gtalk, plus and everything is syncing.
What could be causing it? Getting the triangle notification drop down saying sign in error and my pw is incorrect (but it is correct) and I don't know what app because it is not saying what app.
Just started happening after the numerous app updates from yesterday/today.

I'm getting the same thing, I think they had a bug in their release.

I'm seeing the same thing after taking updates this afternoon.
Stock HTC EVO 3D on Sprint.

It went away when I restarted my phone yesterday but came back today I wonder what app is causing it

My father in law had the same issue on his droid this morning. I had him clear data and launch app again but it disnt work, thanks for posting this.

I think it is Google+, I un installed it and never got the notice. Just installed it again from play and got the notice again.

I thought was google+ too, but after uninstall it and reboot, after a couple of hours, same error...it's something with g-apps in general.

I have a XPeria Play

Great I am not alone. For example see one there I was wondering if I had my Gmail account hacked and password changed. But like you all, all of my accounts synced. Still don't know what it is but it started today after I opened the play store.

I would say delete Gmail.... Download from market and see if it helps.

Same issue here. I had it one other time, yesterday I think, rebooted my phone and thought it was taken care of. Today it's suddenly back again.
Somewhat a relief to realize I'm not the only one.
BTW, I'm using a AT&T Skyrocket...found this thread through search.

Well its not Google+, I have it uninstalled and got the error today, but I don't get the error as often with it installed.

google sign in error

sometimes when i turn phone off for hours and then i turn on phone i get a google sign in error . when i hit sign in again it signs in and theres no problem is this possibly a google bug or is there a solution anybody can offer?

Got the same thing a couple of times today? What Rom are you using? Mat be just a google problem today?

I think Google's servers are just having hiccups. I've had this a few times yesterday and today. The same thing happened for several hours a month or so ago, and it's pretty much everybody, not confined to one phone.
Basically, there's nothing you can do about it, it's Google's problem.

I've been getting this too. If you go into Settings -> Accounts -> Google, you'll most likely see that that there's an error with the Contacts sync.
Applications -> All -> Contacts Storage -> Delete
Then resync, fixes it. At least for me.

No error for me I reset all acounts see what happens

I got the same issue. Just hoping it's a temporary Google hiccup.

I've seen this several times yesterday as well. Good to know I'm not the only one, which seems to suggest that it's a problem with google servers.

I thought it was a ROM bug too, then I grabbed my wife's One X with the same error. Hopefully they resolve it soon.

New User: question and some fixes

Hi Guys, I am new to Galaxy S3,
So far my experience has been so so. When I have been having problems with the music app, for example, once playing a track i cant pause, or if it is paused, i cant resume, app the kind of crashes. Is this normal
Also when i have hardware overlay disabled for play dead trigger, i cant watch hd youtube vidoes in full screen, the picture freezes.
any suggestions. I have tried 3 hard resets now and sprint wont replace it beacuse i cant recreate the music problem in store and they say youtube is app issue not phone

It's this Google Music? This is an issue that started for me with the most recent update to Google Music a couple of weeks ago. I rolled back to an earlier version using titanium backup and the problem is gone. Might have to wait for another update our use a different player.

nah its the stock app.

Both of those are problems with the apps not the phone or jellybean.
Contact app developer (doubt it'll do anything) but it is what it is.

Which one? I said Google Music but I should have said Play Music. It is stock on this Rom and does exactly as you describe it your have the most recent version.

I am on stock JB and just got the phone so all these issue keep coming up.

Anyone else get the AT&T update?

My phone just got a notification that it was downloading a software update from AT&T. It then asked me to restart and now it's 50% done updating.
Just wondering what the update does? Anyone know?

178 apps were "optimized" on restart. Can't see or feel anything different.

The apps that are impacted by the update are. 178's a pretty low number but the update was only 80(ish)MB. Going from 4.X to 5.X my Note 12 optimized 600+ apps on restart. Services are considered apps too. Right after I rebooted Play Services updated itself too. To 8.1.15.

It's an app, here is what you would have seen before the update

Got mine too. Updated and poked around the settings and features to see if Samsung added anything that they removed from the Note 4. Nothing so far.
I also checked to see if the aggressive task killing stopped. I'm getting a consistent 6 apps staying loaded after some tests, previously it was four or five depending on whats open. Anyone else notice this?

I just updated and Googled idk.

There's a thread in the general section. Looks like the update fixed the wireless charging issue many of us were having as well as improving performance a bit.

Anyone get weird graphical glitches in Gmail app?

Attached a screenshot. This has been happening for a couple months now, maybe a bit longer.
I don't think it's a hardware issue as it really only happens in the Gmail app. Also, not sure it would be captured via screenshot if it was some kind of loose connection.
Doesn't happen anywhere else that I can think of off hand. Lasts for about a second then clears up on its own.
It has persisted over a couple builds at least. Some from clean installs as well. I root the phone straight away, so next time I'll try stock for a bit to rule any of that out.
Hoping it's not just me.

I was getting to. I sideloaded the march ota yesterday (that has the performance fixes) and it is no longer occuring. Not sure if the two are related, but that is the only change thing that has changed for me. Was definitely annoying..

Had the same on 6.0.1, moved to android N and t desapired

unfortunately only with Android N the problem goes away, with MHC19J is still present

Glad I'm not the only one and my device isn't defective. It's a minor annoyance knowing that now.

Happening to me as well, on stock. Haven't gotten the March ota yet.

Weird. Definitely gone for me after applying the March ota. Did you wipe the cache partition after applying the update? I always do after any update.

If you have not yet seen the glitching on the MHC19J, not try to reproduce it with open/close Gmail, closing all recent apps and re-open Gmail... because you could have a nasty surprise
