Galaxy Note T-mobile

Just a heads up to anyone looking out for this device or waiting for its release we just got them in stock at my corporate store. Limited though. Only 3 stores in Arizona have them right now. I wasnt told a date that they are going on sale yet.

I was told August 8th is the official release. So unless you want to lose your job...your store won't be able to sell them until then.

Don't buy this phone it will already be a generation old in two months, it's a shame that it's taken so long to start selling this phone.... the screen has a ppi of 285 plus it has a pentile display...its a no go just wait.

Walmart deal coming up.

I just got off the phone with T-Mobile and the rep told me Walmart is cooking up a big promotion for the S3. I called to upgrade one of my lines and asked him if they can match or beat the WireflyFriends price and he said unfortunately no but Walmart is getting ready for a big S3 promotion. Fingers crossed that it beats the WireFly sale price.

I already got $50 back from CarToys because of Walmart's S3 price. I'm hoping they drop it farther so I can get more, but I'm not sure how much time I have left from CarToys to do that.

dont know about wirefly but I bought mine from Costco for 179.99$

I don't know what the other sales are. But tmobile can beat em. Especially if your contract is about up.
Got mine for $79.99!
Ask for retentions, or at least customer loyalty. But retentions can do even better. Google tmobile retentions deals galaxy s3 for more info.

Did you just tell the automated machine retention? I didn't know that I'll give it a try.

I did try that but still got customer loyalty. I loyaly offered me $279 for phone, $150 credit bringing it to $129. Also got. $20 5gb data plan and a $10 per month bill credit every month for 24 months. I told her I wasn't ready to pull the trigger yet and would call back. Asked her if she made notes on my acct for all she offered which she did.
Called back next day and this time made sure I got on with a retention specialist. They saw notes on my account so honored all the offers. I said I didn't think I could accept because it still meant I had to initially pay $279 which I couldn't afford to do. He did some looking at something and said he could bring it down to $229. I asked if I would still get the $150 credit which I did. I told him I still didn't have that much to spend initially and he said he could apply the cost to my next bill, so after credit I would only have to pay the $79 on my next bill!
Oh and I also got free overnight shipping!!!

Wow, that's amazing. Been with them for almost ten years with multiple lines, hopefuy that helps me out. Thanx for the info, I will be glad paying 150. Guess I will give this tomorrow a try.

I've been with them since the Voicestream days, over 10 or 11 years ago. That definately helps, especially if they think you are gona cancel.
The other thing is my contract had already expired which gives max leverage.

Good. Apple blows. Android has been outselling ios 3-1 for a while. Thats why apple sues everyone. The release of the sgs2 was a game changer and since android has taken over. Hell the sgs2 still out sells iphone 5. I hate apple with a passion.

Well you kinda can't blame them if they had really old laggy androids. My girlfriend had an lg Optimus s which was one of those phones and hated it so much she got the 4s. Makes me cringe saying that but the new Android phones out now are simply incredible. People don't know what they're missing. Once a sheep always a sheep I guess lol.

Nah. I think that's a waste of an upgrade if you ask me. Think about how good the gs4 is going to be. Or the note 3 with an octo core! I'm saving it man.

Yeah but if you're in my boat financially lol, once you upgrade you're STUCK with it for two years! So I don't really want last year's model when I could just wait a couple more months. This phone kicks ass anyway lol!

I've already upgraded from my et4g twice since nov. First went to the s3 now the note 2. Definitely wasnt disappointed with either. I actually just sold my s3 for $100 cuz I busted the screen. So the buyer got a month old s3 for $100 + $130 for new screen = $230 they got a sweet deal they're a member here too that I know outside of xda and they were upgrading from the et4g maybe they'll stop by and chime in on the difference and if they are happy or not with the s3. The s4 is still 6 months or so out. Its estimated date to go on sale for the international version is sometime in June and US 1-2 months later so youre looking at july or august b4 US carriers will have em

I've been hearing on different tech site's the s4 might come out as early as April. Either way I'm very happy with this device at the moment anyway so I can wait. This phone should be really nice once we get source I'm thinking.
Edit: I'm also coming to this device a couple months ago from the 3d so probably why I'm content with this for now.

Yeah I usually switch devices every 6 months or so cuz my dad likes to buy the newest one that comes out and give me his old one. I'm actually sitting on 2 upgrades now cuz of him giving me the et4g and s3 I used one of my upgrades on the note 2 tho cuz I wanted it when he dumped the s3 on me and I didnt have am upgrade available yet. They all came up dec 1 jan 2 and jan 15 lol used dec 1 on note the same day it was available after I sold some sucker from Craigslist my et4g with all the accessories for $300

Exactly it frustrates me. Every one goes for the free phone. I spent over $200 for my s2 on launch day with a smile! What I'm saying is that if more people went for flagship android devices it would change their mind

Yes sir. I'm loving the s3. Good looks on telling me first and holding on till I bought it. I also like to upgrade ever few months. I'm waiting for the s4 to use one of my upgrades.

I upgrade every few months by selling my current phone and finding a sweet deal on a newer used phone. Though I may just switch to the nexus 4. With their pricepoints I may just be able to upgrade for free forever.

(Q) getting a Note 2

Hello guys,
Im on a family plan, but my line ia not due for an upgrade till june. On the other hand my brothers line is due for an upgrade in 14 days.
My question is if I upgrade my brothers line can I then swap the note 2 to my line with no problems after a few hours? My brother would get my sg2 for his line.

Also, you would be better off buying from a Site like Best buy or Radio Shack etc. You could swap the phones right in the store. Or as soon as it's activated, you can call sprint and have it switched.
If you purchase from one of those online sites they often require that the device stays on the upgrade line for 180 days. So you can't swap, or you'll get hit with a crazy fee over $200. Best Buy also matches online sales prices from Amazon. Just an FYI.

If ya dont know then your probably good but those are employee accounts. Upgrades have to remain on linebof service for 3 months before they can be swapped.

Amazon just lowered their prices. It's $99 for new line and $169.99 for renewals. Have the screenshots to prove it. Better take advantage now. Amazon changes their prices from one day to the other. I got best buy to match the $150 then couple days later they matched again for the $99. Only catch is some best buys are no longer matching online retailers. Luckily my local bb was doing it even before the last holiday policy. Hopefully you guys get lucky too.

You got me excited. Unfortunately the $169 price is for add lines. It's still $250 for upgrades. $99 for new service is an awesome price though.
And I recent just did what the OP asked about. I bought the note 2 titanium from bestbuy.com using my Mom's upgrade. It shipped next day (even though they quoted 3 weeks). I activated it and swapped the lines instantly on the phone with sprint.The next day I took it into my local best buy and they price matched it down to $250. I generally despise Best Buy, but they are a great place to buy cell phones.

Just bought my friend the galaxy s4, she had a beat up old blackberry. This was at a real AT&T store. They are taking trade ins. They gave her 100 bucks for it. Got the phone for 100 bucks, not bad

I went in with my just about dead Note 1 (random reboots and freezes even after multiple resets to stalk) and got $150. Might have gotten more on ebay selling for parts (maybe) but no hassle . That's how no ended up with the note 2 which is so much better

I tried a s2 trade in and they knew nothing about the $100 trade in. Were going to give $28 for it. This was a week ago. Me thinks the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

For att to give you full price on a phone that you might of paid $99 for and used it for 6 months. If you dont like the prices then dont sell it. Easy as that. But if you wanna whine about the value then here is your thread to cry in. Maybe one day one out of the few of you might grow up and be happy someone is paying for a phone you no longer use.

What we paid for it doesn't matter anyways...as with anything in life. And even if it was bought under contract, you're still paying for the rest of the price over the two year contract.
I guess when I sell my house I should sell for way under it's value because of what I bought it for??

Im not complaining im laughing at people rushing in to get ripped off yet again by the carriers!
Hmmm lets see...sell my phone on cl or ebay for about 350...or trade it in for 100 $ or less.....dayum thats a tough choice!

Not at all. Just on a different scale. When the new iPhone comes out and people pay 200 for them look and see what they go for online. What you paid for it has nothing to do with what its worth.
