I have been desperate for a decent SNES emulator for my touch pro 2 and have found a way of playing the games on my phone since Morphgear is all but useless on our phones. Put haret on your phone and run Android http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=627997. Go to the Android market and download the free version of SNESOID and enjoy. It plays nearly full speed on our phones. I would however recommend that before running SNESOID that you close all applications running in the background in Android before attempting to run a game. I can't wait until sound is supported with the Android build for the Touch Pro 2 then we will have our cake and eat it too. Hope this helps some of you guy's that have been searching for emulators as I have.
I'm sorry, but why is morphgear useless?
(I'm sorry, but why is morphgear useless?)
Hey Scalage. Speed and the interface of Morphgear is what to me makes it useless. When I play SNES games I like to play them to play as close to full speed as possible with sound. Morphgear just don't cut it on a WVGA device unless you are running it on a phone like Omnia 2 or HTC HD 2 with much faster processors. So it didn't take me long after I installed Morphgear to uninstall it from my Touch Pro 2. If you have found success with Morphgear then I am impressed. But performance with games like Super Mario World and Mario Kart when I tried it really disappointed me.

What emulators do you use?
Sent from my ZTE Blade using XDA app
I tried GameBoid, Mojo GBA and Tiger GBA. All just shut down immediately after loading the rom

I played Pokemon Zaffiro (the italian version of Pokemon Sapphire) and Jet Set Radio (the GBA spinoff) without any problems with GameBoid 2.4.7 from SlideMe.
What rom have you tested? Did you put the gba bios on your SD Card and loaded in the emulator first?

emulators are softwares which make a program or a game made for other devices run on others devices like a GBA emulator for PC,androidetc
there are emulators which emulate PSP,GBA, nintendo ds,PS1,PS2 games on your PC.
many emulators exist for android

Yep. Is it really possible for a mobile device to support Xbox games?
i never tried it mate it could be possible since you do not play the game from your phone but think of it as a teamviewer on mobile playing on their cloud service i think it could be possible
Hmmm. Wouldn't that be awesome? Imagine playing God of War 3 on a Blade

Gameboy Emulators with Wiimote Controller
I use Gameboid a fair bit, mostly to relive a bit of pokemon one thing I use more than I expected to is an app called Wiimote Controller, it pairs up a Wii controller via Bluetooth and sets it up as a virtual keyboard.
Didn't think it would work very well but It really makes the games feel a bit more authentic.
It works like a dream with Gameboid on my Blade running CM 7.1 and the app's available on Google Play
This is a great app
I already play Pokemon Fire Red and Emerald. And it work fine just like a real GBA
We can use gameshark with the app
To be perfect only need one thing.....wi-fi conection to play with other devices and change Pokemons xD
I want to know if these work on any ICS rom and if they do, on which rom?
Gameboy Advance
NES
Playstation 1
Virtua Tennis
Asphalt 6
Modern Combat 2,3
These are the games I play often (or use to show off my XPlay)
Nes.emu works great and superGnes works great too. If you notice any lag, install the dual core mod.
Does FPSE work on ICS? And N64 EMU?

Im using FPSE on CNA rom 4.0.4 and it works in the (3) games Ive played this morning; Armored Core, Final Doom, Final Fantasy VII , everything has worked at 60fps with touch pads also
Any ideas about NES, SNES, and Sega emulators?
Do they work on the Nexus 7, where to get games and which are the best emulators.
I just fancy a bit of Super Mario
There is a new nds emulator on the market search for Dsoid. It runs great.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using XDA Premium HD app
Search for slideme market and download that too your nexus 7. Then in that market look for nesoid, snesoid, all made by yonghz or something like that. Ask free and really good.
For roms just Google for them

Snes9x EX for best Snes emulator.
Snes9x EX is awesome, I can pair multiple wiimotes inside the emulator in a flash! Had fun playing killer instinct, bomber man and mario kart with a friend on a 7 hour drive.
I'm working on getting my 2 sixaxis controllers to work on n64oid for multiplayer but i need a Bluetooth keyboard to map the keys inside n64oid
Wanted to play Mario Kart on this with a Wiimote
What is the best Emulator to use for it?
What about the best PSX Emulator? I have been wanting to play FFVII again
FPse best PSX emulator by far
I'm crazy about Commodore 64 and have found the Frodo to be the best emulator out there. However, it has an arrow style joystick rather than the analog psx style which makes it painful to play games.
Is there another C64 emulator that has the analog stick?
Snesoid, gensoid and gameboid are great and FREE! They where taken off the market so just google them FPse is also great for ps1 games (one of my fave)
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
Gameboid is a pretty good emulator.
If you do anything other than the following, you're doing it all wrong.
Download SlideMe here:
http://slideme.org/
search for "Yongzh"
Download all of the emulators.
all of the other ones are just rip offs of his, and the reason they havent been updated in a long time is that they do everything flawlessly
Robert Broglia emulators are the most accurate. His .emu range is in the Play store, just search for the author!
If you want to see for yourself, you can get his snes emulator for free from his website: http://www.explusalpha.com

I'd say very unlikely as the C64 itself didn't support an analog joystick, just analog paddles.

Yeah, the C64 joysticks were actually just directional buttons that the stick pressed on.
snes emulator
Very nice, and cool roms has all games - works flawlessly on my Nexus 7.
Is there a GameCube emulator?

Definitely not. Mobile devices simply aren't that powerful yet.

TTT - none of yong's emulators work on my 7. GameBoid kind of works but eventually locks up, Gensoid doesn't ever play. SNESoid doesn't work either. I wonder if they need to be recompiled for 4.1?
Anyone else experience same issues? yong's emulators were the best in the market. Still are as far as i'm concerned. They're still relevant to this day and do everything any emulator should do.
I've only tried Ataroid from Yongzh and that plays fine with a Sixaxis controller.
ePSXe is by far the best PSX emulator on the market, and works fine on the Nexus 7 too.

Did Ouya play store take emulators down? I was thinking about buying one but may not of this is the case. I know you can sideload but..

Not that I can see, also there are plenty of free emulators on the ouya store that run every bit as good as other 'paid' emulators.
The exception in my findings is that epsxe for android is far superior to other playstation emulators on the platform (also they support ouya out of the box).
Robert Broglia is the name to remember with emulators at the mooment.
Mupen64 is good but if you can find a 2.7 version of n64oid, it works even better for n64 games..
Retroarch android has many of these emulators built into the system and it is open source and free.

Cheers Danny.
I dunno. I paid for several of them. I was playing my GBA emulator of Final Fantasy 5 last night. All of my Emulators were on there. Actually they just updated the "Stock" NES/SNES/Atari Emu (it's weird though)
Ouya plays roms like a champ! The GBA emulator works flawlessly as does all the SNES roms I've tried. The SNES emulator is very jazzy and grabs all of the cover art automatically. I haven't used the "stock" version because you have to throw everything into a "Roms" file on the internal storage I think. I like my roms separated by console.
