Hey
I've got a problem. My build.prop is empty. No Bytes nothing. Now I want to flash newest Omega V7. I have already CWM Recovery, but can I flash it or will this cause problems?

I'm about to flash the EI22 modem in CWM and I was wondering if you are supposed to wipe anything before installing a modem like you do before installing a ROM or theme? I have only used Odin for modems before this. Thanks
Nope, just flash with odin and you're good.
Got it working, thanks!
Hey guys,
i have a problem with flashing kezra's new rom. My current rom is a stock(XXLA3),which I installed using odin. I flashed CWM on my phone, everything's OK. But when I wanna flash the zip it says"E:Can't open /sdcard/OKV3_NonOC3.zip"
I already had a custom rom on my phone but then i crushed my backups and everything formatted everything(don't know why),so I had no rom on my phone and that's why I had to flash a stock using Odin.
Yeah, I know this belongs into the dev-section but this is my first post,so don't be rude to me.

It could be a download error that corrupted your file, because I flashed it fine, or you could be doing something wrong with the flashing?
Could you please tell me exactly what you are pressing to flash?
Just as i flashed the v2...
I flashed CWM using odin, wiped everything via CWM and install .zip from sdcard, chose the .zip and then the error popped up..
agree..maybe a bad download....try to re-download it...
Try to install it through the recovery.
Hi All,
Odd ball problem. I tried to flash a version of ICS, and things stopped booting. No problem, I flashed stock back on. Then it still would not boot, but I could not get into fastboot mode because /system/bin/sh did not exist. Fixed that by making a factory cable and reloading FFF and TWRP. Kept trying to flash ROMS but nothing worked. Came to find out while I did not seem to be getting errors, the ROM zip files were not really being unzipped by the recovery tools, /system was empty still empty after applying a ROM. What could be causing this? Anyone ever see this? I also tried CWM with the same results. Why would TWRP/CWMsay they are applying the ROMS, but the files are not in the file system afterwards?
Thanks.
You definatly do not want to use cwmr to flash ics twrp only

Thanks for the tip, but why does TWRP not work either? As in, not really unzipping the file?
Hey guys, I was having some trouble with a rom and switched my recovery to CWM6.0.1.2 and it's no longer booting recovery and CM is not working either just getting boot errors with gapps and setup crashes.
Basically I can't do anything with my phone unless I can wipe it and flash stock or correctly flash CM. Does anyone have any suggestions on a way to wipe my rom through odin? Currently downloading stock just incase that may help me down the road.
Where is that stock rom? Looking for it

Download CWM from my signature and flash it through Odin.
Gapps crashing means you flashed a mismatched version for your rom.

That might have happened, I got CWM working and flashed my old rom with a lot of issues, specifically stock apps crashing. Going to flash full stock via odin and start from scratch. Really stoked to try a 4.2 CM AOKP rom :good:
Are there files I can manually delete/modify to bring my device fully back to stock?

Delete or wipe via recovery is highly recommened and flash via odin. You cant do to all system files and delete them individually; thats too much of work.
Everything is golden thanks guys
Does anybody know how I can get a tar file that contains the cm10 kernel for our device? I accidentaly flashed a touchwiz kernel on a cm10 based rom, and i can't even get into recovery even after odin flashing CWM recovery...
Is there a CM10 kernel only that I can flash via odin that will fix me up?
I would just flash to stock and go from there, but I really need some stuff off my device.
So yeah a tar that is flashable with odin to fix up my kernel would be great, but if anyone has any other ideas I'm open to them.
Thanks for the help in advance
