1. Restored my stock backup.
2. Ran cf-auto root for stock recovery
3. Ran triangle away.
4. Used su app to full unroot.
5. Booted into stock recovery and wiped everything.

Make sure you're using stock kernel as well as stock recovery when you're using triangle away.

That reminds me. Its time to make a completely stock backup before I go flash crazy again. That total stock backup can save alot of time:thumbup: cheers gentlemen:beer:

If the counter continues to reset to 1 something is not 100 stock. I would recommend flashing a stock Odin package, root it, run triangleaway and see if that worked.

I had this problem with my s3. What I eventually did was triangle restore. Odin restore. Then before it rebooted for the first time, I went to recovery and wiped everything and factory reset it.
I had to battery pull before it rebooted.

Need help. I'm trying to install twrp on my note 2 but its like nothing is happening. When I go through the process, odin says pass and such and then the phone reboots, then when I power off and go into recovery, its still stock. Then when I reboot, go to about phone and status, instead of modified it says Normal. Im using odin 3 3.04. Please anyone help.

you have to root FIRST, then you install a custom recovery..
Im going to root through custom recovery. Thats why I was using odin to root. I am on 4.1.2

HUH?
Root first, THEN install custom recovery, then flash your life away..

So I found out that with every reboot it reflashes stock recovery so thats why it kept changing. So I turned off auto reboot and it worked, I was able to flash supersu

Do you unroot jb the same as ics? Like the guide shows?

True, but I don't think that'll fix my issue. I need to remove twrp, get stock recovery, and completely get rid of su and anything that vibes with it

What's the easiest way to check if I still have CWM recovery installed?

Reboot to recovery?

I wanted to avoid that if possible as I don't want to risk getting stuck on the stock recovery.

Need root
DD the recovery partition to your sd card, and dissect it on your PC (or other) lol. Or just dd the cwm you want to your system. Lookup nandroid manager on the market
CM 10.1 P769
Could I just try to instal it again? Would that cause me any problems?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
That depends if your bootloader is unlocked, or if your phone allows custom recoveries. I don't know anything about your phone.

What do you mean by this? Can't you just close it and start or reboot.

So I was trying to try out other superusers and accidentally unrooted my device. Any suggestions to reroot?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk
Which rom you are in? If 4.3, download dr.keran multitool v6, flash and root from there. Then reboot and download SuperSu from playstore again.
