Hi guys.. Im loking for a stable rom to flash.. Well if there any, i know xplay is new might not have a stable rom.. The only thing keep me away from flashing custom rom is bug.. And i dont like bug for my everyday use.. Yea i can wait for ics from sony but custom rom is the best.. Im using cyanogen 7 on my galaxy mini, and its fast(less system apps), stable, longer battery life, more features, lots of themes.. Sorry for my bad english.. Thanks..

I like dark forest 3.1.0 runs great and I didn't have to unlock the bootloader for it.

Hi, my Xperia PLAY reboots right after i slide the gamepad up.. Im running Doomkernel ICS Beta v2 2.0GHZ and official Sony Beta rom. Anyone with the same problem? Is it the kernel?
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
It's not a Xperia Play anymore if the gamepad doesn't work
If you're running at 2ghz, that would explain it...
When i slide the gamepad up it's normal as it should be, but when slide it down the screen turns black and reboots...

The volume buttons isn't functionable either.. Just bought a new housing replacment

Idk how your phone can even handle 2 ghz. My r800a was burning at 2 ghz and rebooting after 5 seconds. Start with underclocking to see if it helps. If it doesn't then reinstall the ics beta.

You know, you could just try a different kernel and answer your own question in a few minutes.

Hi all I have a r800i unlocked bootloader and rooted is there anyway to install or flash an x10 rom onto the play I seen an ultimate gaming rom id like to try but thought id ask first .
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
Why you want the X10 Rom?
I think people nowadays search for xperia S Rom, n now there are many custom rom xperia S look for xplay

It won't work. It shouldn't be too hard to port, but I don't think there is any developer that will even consider it. And it'll be quite hard to get the touchpads working.
Use Dixperia for same experience.
Problem solved.

Seems both phones have the Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon board both with Adreno205 and 512 Ram and 376 Rom (If I remember right)
They have identical specs for the vital parts so it is worth a try,
Anyway I recommend you Slimbean by CJ360 (Gave me the smoothest JB Experience - With 210 Ram which was a record for me)
Yea well you can be the tester for people also wanting to do this but make sure you get the same radio as your phone
