Which is the best rom for Galaxy Y .. ?? I bought Galaxy Y .. And i want the best rom for it .. ?? Any suggestions please ..

if you want a beautifull rom: creeds 2.0
if you want a fast rom: hybrid 4.0
if you want a very bugfree and fast rom is should choose hybrid

Creeds 2.0 is also bug-free and is also beautiful
it is actually ICS styled.
I recommend that to you. anyway it is still your choice.
why not try all and see the difference.

Dear fellow Hercules users we all know there's a lot of good roms out there and a couple stable ones.
Well I'm a juggernaut rom fanatic as much flashing I do the jb roms arn't reliable and i keep going back to Juggernaut because of its stability and smoothness and jookdakang23 has posted this on the juggernaut rom thread

Yea idk these people are crazy. Not only is JB stable enough to be a daily driver but if you really think it isn't, ICS is and has been for months now. I'll never go back to gingerbread.

Well I would love to see an update with that rom! And remember that its a tw rom so you have to do it with ICS. But why should I vote if you wanna make it or not! That is up to you to keep on.

Well all jb rom now is not that stable yet. They still have some bugs because the source one is still in alpha.
So if you are searching for stable version there is none.
But if you don't mind about all the bugs try PAC Rom / Slimbean Rom they both nice. PAC rom is a combination between Paranoid + AOKP + Cyanogen (AOSP) and slimbean is a slim rom.

If i see on the dev section that the most chosen rom is slim bean or the original cm10 / jb itself. And some choose aokp rom though. Just try the rom by your self and have a feel with it. Because every users criteria on rom is personal preference though

You can try to flash the 2.X kernel though it is there in the development section just look for it.

RAM consumption? I use that rom before my phone stolen and my friend still using that rom till now too but there is no problem with the ram it just feel smooth as normal.

That question depends on yourself. You should choose a ROM that fit for you.

what i have some questions ..
1. the performance phone will good ?!
2.what's I/O scheduler ?
3. what's good options enable in performance become well ?!

It is good if you have class 10 (or above) sdcard, if not remove the swap
1- the scheduler controls the speed of reading/writing of the sdcard. (Correct me If I am wrong)
2- A good scheduler is SIO and Apple people like ZEN but I never tried it. And a good governor of SMARTASSv2 (performance) and lulzactive (good performance and battery saving)
3- I usually leave the developer options, but you could turn of the debugging notification (only the notification)

1- class 10: A higher class of sdcards that has higher memory and speed. You know from the box/ and it could written on the sdcard itself to. If your sdcard is lower than 16gb it is not Class 10 (IIRC)
2- performance surface improvement is just as the name says, it is how the phone corrects the quality of graphics in pics and stuff. People turn it off and say if l it gives better performance but I didn't notice a different. 16 bit lowers the graphics on the transparent objects to give more speed. ZRAM lowers the amount of ram every app uses, they say makes the phone laggy but I never tried it.

[Poll] Which ROM are you using daily basis.

With getting Samsung Note II (GT-7100) more n more popular to the android users n ROM developers, we can see a lot of ROM options coming out of the box daily with more or less added features. On one side this excites advanced users to try those ROM n play around but it clearly becomes confusion for the new users who want to try for the first time, obviously they would go for the most stable/used one by xda users.
With that intention starting this thread, hope this will go fine. [this is not an evaluation].
[already searched the thread, similar posts are there for other phones but none for GT-7100]
With due respect to all the developers for their hard work n tine spent on building....developing...n....updating the ROM s.

No offence but it is very confusing why people like omega.
I mean arhd and wanam are a model roms. Very light and optimized and not much edited.
Or like monxdified or phoenix. They are so beautiful modified and optimized.
Or jellybam and pa. Tablet ui on this big screen.

I use Alliance Rom 1.0 and it's been stable and haven't had any issues. I wanted to have a slight aosp look without losing the spen features so this Rom did it for now.

Why you no poll, though?

On Wanamite lite v1.1 for my N7105. wit Perseus kernel.
Amazing combo. super fast and really battery friendly.
only complaint is both Kernel and Rom not update very frequently but since they work so great now.
So doesn't matter at all.

Yea it's the only room I've used for more than a month without facing any issues. I use to have the omega rom but it felt bloated.

Do NOT ask for best rom or best kernel, etc.
All ROMs are good and have their pros and cons. You have to test each ROM and you'll find the best for your needs.

Im using ACRO KERNEL , i have installed 50+ rooms, in my phone and this is the best !!! for me !

Ics? Why not jb instead ics. Try monster rom ver 13. Ver 14 unstable.
