So I received my note ii yesterday and have been having a play. Great, except an odd gmail symptom.
If I have a number of new mails, I click on the oldest and it renders fine. If I then swipe left to the next message it looks like its downloading and never renders (see attached). If I go back to inbox then click on the message its there immediately.
Anyone else seen this and got a way around it? Its pretty annoying having to go back to inbox and click each mail individually.

I get the same thing. Any solutions?
Update: Weird, it just started working.
I am having this same problem with my Note 2...very frustrating!
One of the first things I noticed when I got the phone. Rather annoying. I'm sure Google will know about it and fix it soon
Receive a Gmail app update, the problem solved.

I'm using the email standard email app that's included on every rom. It eas working fine up until recently. I got what I thought was an email, but instead it was a message saying "login failed". I didn't change anything. I even tried clearing the data and cache

Do you have Yahoo premium? I've never figured out a way to make my free Yahoo email do push with any email app.
I'm using the yahoo mail market app...
Don't have a premium account ..and has always pushed my mail through the app.
Not on native Android mail...
The new update...version 2.0 does not push for me...
Went back to version 1.45 and push mail works again....?
Maybe that's their way of telling me I need to upgrade to premium mail..?

Yep, me and my wife we both have an Samsung Galaxy S3 and since they updated the yahoo mail, push mail and notifications dont work anymore. This makes yahoo mail on my phone useless...
Downloaded the old yahoo mail apk and will use that until they have sorted out the problem...
Thanks for that!

I'm late to the party and the link is dead. Can someone please post again?
Anyone else having connectivity issues with the XDA forum app or Tapatalk?
XDA works fine through a browser. But Tapatalk and XDA apps take forever, if at all, to load. I usually get a failed to connect message.
Doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or data.
Yes and it's only just recently it's been happening for a few days but I thought it might be a server issue so I'm only just now looking for a real solution. Clearing cache and dalvik in recovery seems to fix it temporarily. For anyone who hasn't experienced it: hitting reload or starting app will give a "unable to connect to forum. Please contact your administrator if this problem persists." This occurs on both lte and Wi-Fi. Also it may be related: I'm unable to watch videos on chrome browser or javelin browser. It's really strange. Setup: HTC m8 rooted a-on tmobile arhd 7 and elex 17. Most things stock with kernel.

Yup I always get an xda app error message. Annoying.

It's happening on my son's sgs3 as well. Both with XDA APP and Tapatalk. So it's on XDA's end.
Here is something weird. Installed ad-away and it's working 95% better. Idk
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using XDA Free mobile app
That is strange...I don't have it currently and usually do. I'll install and inform if it improves.

Do you need to be rooted to install ad-away??

Yeah the xda app is crap, half of the time I get the connection error on a perfectly stable connection, and mostly it won't load all threads etc...
:/
I've got adaway too.
Xda App is actually the worst app known to human and our alien brothers.
It's been fine for a while. I installed adaway again but not sure if it's that our maybe they just corrected a forum thing. Using tapatalk btw.
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
I gave up on the XDA app a long time ago, it's absolutely terrible and beggars belief that for a forum with so many skilled people on, whoever is behind this app needs to put some serious effort into improving it.
Stick to the Tapatalk app, not perfect much better than the XDA one.

My went back to being a piece of s**t again. It was just coincidence I suppose. It only works 15% of time with Tapatalk or XDA APP. It's funny a development forum app is plague with bugs.
Yes,awful lately

Plus one!!! It has been almost a week now that XDA access via TapaTalk has been terrible. I hate using the browser, so I hope both XDA and TapaTalk get it together and resolve this stuff.

The XDA app is made by Tapatalk and non of the guys you on about don't work for them.
Is this normal? If so not very friendly function if you ask me. How to you stop it? Or is this an opera mobile issue. Don't think I've seen this happen with downloads from other apps

I don't use opera, but as an app developer, I can tell you that this is a really easy mistake to make. Check all the settings but if you don't see anything, keep an eye out for a fast update.

Thanks. So it's not normal then. Good. Yeah, no settings that I've found. Will keep an eye out for an update
