You're using PAC rom right? If yes then please try to flash the forvivo's kernel for jb version 14-11-2012. When i flash it, it changed the way my mounting system. Before flashing it, it just like what you posted. But after flash, it says that my sdcard is not mounted although it is mounted and there is a folder called sdcard0 and sdcard1 but when i looked into the vold.fstab there is nothing to be called sdcard0 and sdcard1.
Pressing "Thanks" button will be much appreciated if user's posts useful for you

Sorry for not replying earlier, i had school.
Anyway, i tried this kernel and got stuck at boot.
Note: i supercharged this rom and disabled cpu rendering. It runs smooth so you don't need this kernel.

Strange it is working for me. The stock kernel is drains battery very fast. In hard gaming my phone only can last 2 hours with stock kernel. With costum kernel it can last up to 3 / 4 hours playing sometimes 5 hours. Probably because the costum governors and schedulers. That's why i like using this kernel.
Seems can't find the solution about the swapping memories

From what i know, when i tried extracting cm10 to find if there are any difference between the vold.fstab(s). I found that in cm10, the internal sd is called sdcard0 and the external _sd is called sdcard1, which is different than the one in the PAC rom. I guess that could be the cause of the problem. Or maybe i'm completely wrong. Who knows
And btw i didn't came up with this i found it a long time ago and kept using it, then when i saw many people want swapping, so i thought i should share it with them.

Yup confirmed that. PAC ROM vold.fstab contains external_SD and sdcard but in original cm10 it contains sdcard0 and sdcard1
I already tried to replace the vold.fstab in PAC ROM with the original cm10. Ended up in the ass wiping boot loop. So I go to cwm clear cache and the reboot again stuck in the android upgrading. What
Maybe I should wait for the new release from camcory

Now even PAC rom is based on arco's cm10. But thanks to the developer, there is an app on the PAC rom to swap sdcards automatically!!
This method still works on ICS and GB rom anyway.
EDIT: And good news, i found a way to swap the JB ROMs too will update soon!

Good work!! Unfortunately, I can't test your kernel since I have a P1000L tab...
Just one question, you said that you choose to avoid RAM and LCD undervoltage. Can you tell me why? I have been using aggressive undervoltage settings for LCD (2.1V) and I haven't noticed anything until now. No glitches, no weird things. But I know that this can change between devices. Do you know if anyone has had any kind of problems with undervoltage?
Thanks!
Ronan
Ronan, good work to you since i've only applied your patches Thanks.
About RAm and LCD undervolting i've always had some doubt about the real gain in battery save and after seeing this post from Technomancer i've decided to give it a try.
Till now my battery last even better than before, don't know, it could be a placebo effect though
Too bad that i have only one feedback till now that i have 45 downloads

Pardon my ignorance, but what is MIUI exactly ? Another custom build of Android, just like Cyagenmod is ? What are its fundamental differences compared to Cyanogemond ?
edit : wikipedia's description provided me with part of the answer, but on what basis should i choose your cyanogenmod our our miui ports ?

Thank you. For my needs, stability is more important than the UI. According to the description of both of your ROMs, the Cyanogemnod port seems to have less bugs. Can you confirm that ?

deodexed rom will take more space from the internal memory
since our phone have less internal memory its better to use odexed rom and also odexed will be faster
since our system memory is also less it was hard to odex it. that was why i uploaded deodexed rom.

I say overclock it for about 15-20% which I think is the safest for such low frequency device, anything above it as stated will cause instability.

[Q&A] All-Star Devs ROMs Support

Hey XDA members,
The All-Star team has noticed that there have been several questions being asked repeatedly (which is nothing new in the XDA forums)
and it tends to get... putting it in a nice way... bothersome and unnecessary.
With the amount of ROMs the team has at the moment, it is hard for us to keep track of the numerous amount of questions you may have.
Which is why we have decided to create this post to have any important questions and answers collected in to one thread.
Before you ask any questions on here, please make sure you check everything on this list:
1. Have you checked if the issue has been mentioned before or is currently being resolved
(we kindly ask you to please use the search bar, whether it be in this thread or the ROM threads)
2. Are using the latest version released for the ROM?
3. Carefully read and followed the instructions written in the OP?
4. Made sure your downloads were not corrupt?
5. Are using the latest recovery system? (recommend TWRP):
5. Flashed the ROM with all necessary steps? (i.e. wiping cache/dalvik cache)
6. Attempted flashing alternative kernels/radios?
7. Did not mess around with any critical settings? (i.e. performance settings, DPI, governors/schedulers)
8. Tried properly re-flashing the ROM again?
9. Made sure it is not a hardware issue? (i.e. broken power button, faulty battery)
10. Made sure the internal/external memory does not have any remnant files left used by a previous ROM?
(also, the micro SD card should be properly formatted, recommend to a FAT32 file system if it does not work properly with the ROM)
11. Tried flashing back to stock and installing the ROM again?
12. Try using a USB Jig if phone does not boot up at all and recovery/download mode button combinations do not work?
13. The question does not involve anything about ROM ETAs or ROM requests?
... the check list goes on, but those are the most important questions that are often asked by ROM support when there is an issue.
Additionally, these questions can be applied to any ROM.
If you have checked everything on the list above, please post your question in the following format:
Code:
Issue title: *keep this to a few commonly used words, in that way it can be found through the search bar*
Current ROM:
Previous ROM : *if applicable*
Current kernel:
Recovery system used: *CWM or TWRP*
Detailed description of the issue:
(Please copy and paste this format for your question, thank you)
The team will respond to your question as soon as possible, so just keep an eye out for new posts!
Also, as a courtesy it wouldn't hurt to hit the thanks button for anyone who has been a help. Thank you for your co-operation everyone!
//not sure if this is appropriate, but can this post be stickied? Thanks
This will help a lot. Thank you!

monkeybuttons apparently found a fix, you can find it here.
But before you do that, can you try this:
Go to your phone app/ press the menu hardware key/settings/ scroll down and enable Noise suppression? Once the option is checked off, try calling again and let us know if it works.
If the solutions above don't work, first try flashing an alternative radio. Then try flashing an alternative kernel if there is still an issue.
As a future reference for future posts, can everyone post your questions according to the format mentioned in the OP to look like this?
(example)
Issue title: Phone not working
Current ROM: All-Star ROM
Previous ROM : Old Rom
Current kernel: *Kernel used in All-Star ROM*
Recovery system used: TWRP 2.3.3.0
Detailed description of the issue: Phone does not do... etc
It is much easier to read the question that way, thanks!
Going to the phone app/settings and checking noise suppression worked! Thanks... Keep rocking!

Hey ROM gurus! All-star ROM v6 prev. All-star ROM v 5. , before that Jedi 6.(current Kernel ) 3.0.49 lightningzap. Mon. Dec 12,2012. Love the ROM.. Friends say they are hearing a echo of themselves when they call me. Can I fix that with a new kernel? Or is it a radio issue?

For me the call cuts sometimes, just little cuts like 250 miliseconds, i tried flashing h0tcakez kernel and the call works flawless but the rotation is wrong.... What can I do?

What do you mean by "rotation is wrong"? If you meant that it is not working, perhaps you have it disabled in the settings?

So just got my sg2 back and i upgraded to all-star v6. As this is my first time dealing with new 4.1.2
I have a hard time understanding what the quick settings are used for.(the second row of toggles for WiFi, BT, ext...)
It seems redundant as it has the same options as the power widget buttons at the very top.
Can some one explain how to utilize this better or to remove the toggles.
I like the concept of quick settings as you don't have to navigate the settings menu. But don't like have two of something.
Thanks in advanced

Hm, that's strange. The kernel you are using most likely changed the settings for the accelerometer. Try flashing another kernel for your phone and wipe cache/dalvik as well. If you really insist on flappjaxxx's kernel flash it back again and see if the issue persists.
Now, when you do re-flash the h0tcakez kernel and rotation still does not work, there is not much you can do aside from trying to re-flash everything again including the ROM and kernel and hope that will fix it.
If you took the time to use the seach bar and look through the official kernel thread you would find that there are several people who had the same issue and were able to get it fixed in some way.
As mentioned first in the check list of the OP it clearly mentions to use the search bar to find previous mentions about the issue, trust me when I say "it does wonders".
But as of now it's no problem, just keep that in mind if you ever have an issue next time.

Thank you so much for the support!! I've flashed, Lightning zap v5, kko kernel and h0tcakez, all with fresh install cache, data and dalvik cleared and the 3 kernels fails with the rotation, the only one that haven't the rotation issue is Nibbles kernel but this one gives me call echo, tried noise supression but the same thing... Now I re-flashed the Rom with the incluided kernel and seems its working, is weird... All the process mentioned above was always with all the wipes... Vibration settings
Current ROM: AOKP All-star 4.2 (Milestone 1)
Current kernel:3.0.49 Cyogenmod
Recovery system used: CWM
Detailed description of the issue: A bit of a silly question, but is there a way to turn on/off/change the intensity level of the vibrations?
Also, is there a way to have sound + vibrations on at the same time?
Thanks!
PS: Is there also a way to set my default keyboard to something else (ie, Swiftkey)? it keeps asking me to "select input"...
Edit: I'm sorry, I have so many questions! :s I also have problems getting sound from the alarm, and my mic for certain apps (ie: wechat) also doesn't seem to work anymore.

About the vibrations, there might be something in settings that can help you. If not, there's probably also an app that can help you. You can change the vibration intensity in settings. Before you click "choose default keyboard", you have to check off the one you want.

CM10 Camera Issue

Ok, I've commented about this several times in the CM10 Discussion thread and nobody seems to give a rat's bum...
When I take a picture, the EXIF info is saved as December 2008.
There are not much differences from ics 4.0.4 to jellybean 4.1.2 so i prefer to use stock rom which has less bugs
I'm using hono stock cwm flashbale v20c
I need help to port or add qmemo app from v20f bell rom to v20c at&t
And i wana add it to quick setting menu to be able make screenshot.
I did ask it in a new topic before with no result and success !
You are a developer and i used your rom liquid nitro ,Can you add it to quick setting menu ?

Why not just run v20f? Once you put in the APN info it runs just fine with AT&T and with the additional tweeks it offers better battery life and a newer improved Adreno driver plus it offers the quickmemo you love its a win win for you.

Vibration on key press are too strong??
Does anyone feels that the vibration when hitting the "menu, search, back" buttons in CM10 is to strong??
Is there any way to reduce the vibration feedback?

This question is almost exactly like, if not completely different than the thread topic... but to answer your questions: I wouldn't say it's too strong, but it seems that it vibrates twice for each press. no.

You can extract them from the .zip of the rom you are using or a basic CM10 if you are using camera 4.1, if using 4.2 you are gonna have to find the complete package that comes with the lib, look for the thread called "android 4.1 to 4.2" and extract them from its package or extract them from a CM10.1 package (not sure that works tho, used the android 4.1 to 4.2 package in my case)
As for the files, you need to extract:
In the zip, they are in system/lib and are named libjni_filtershow_filters.so libjni_latinimegoogle.so libjni_mosaic.so and liblightcycle.so
Once you extracted the files, (backup or rename the old files 1st) copy them to your phone's system/lib using a root explorer (es or root explorer w.e you like to use) and make sure to change the files persmissions to r-r-rw and reboot your phone.
If that doesnt work, l really dont know ...

Thanks APPD1, i've been using cm10.1 but so far couldnt make any "a2sd app" work.. I tried them all.
My question is: do you have your apps linked to sd successfuly and wich app are you using?
If you say yes I'll gladdly follow your suggestion: i just want my Gio to be functional again.

Installed cm7 recommended by appd1 and yes, link2sd is working like a charm
I miss the beauty n some really cool features of cm10 but my Gio is much faster, smoother and more functional with cm7. Its a keeper.

this rom clearly supports a2sd...just first you should active it in setting>app>application......
and I use a lot of kinds of applications like : solid explorer , titanium backup , zdbox ,ezpdf reader, powerAMP music player , MXplayer , Instagram ,Tapatalk & ...
All of my apps can move to sd easily & fast...
also I Removed some of useless apps by titanium backup for more free space..for example ( calculator , some extra widgets , voice search &.. )

Hi! I suggest you use Cyanogenmod 10.1 by OldDroid together with the S2E app available on Play Store.
I also strongly suggest you freeze/disable unneeded system apps so that you end up with a smooth experience.
Just make sure that you format the second partition with Ext4 format.
Cwm recovery has played some tricks with me and I ended up formatting on my PC before mounting on S2E. Even the Ext4 only Cwm recovery formatted as Ext3
Good luck flashing!
