I am in trouble. I have a Note 2. I am not able to update apps via play store. This is happening from yesterday. Though I am able to update Chrome, Facebook, flipboard, dropbox and a couple more apps but I am not able to update any other app for example twitter, whatsapp, astro, google maps, street view for google maps, youtube and all the others. But when open the play store site on my computer, and then update from there then the update happens normally. But I am not able to update from my phone. Tried to reset the play store apps several times, tried factory reset 3 times but the problem persists. Its getting frustrating and I dont have a single clue asto what to do now.
Should go to the service center and get a new software installed ??
Guys please help with your suggestions.

Not seen this mentioned, probably because the US ones have it as stock.
As Play music isn't available over here, Google have frozen the app out on UK N7s. If you've got Titanium backup installed, just defrost "Sound Search For Google Play 1.0.1" and it will now appear in your widget list.
Obviously it can only be used for song identification, if you click the widget after it has identified a song it will just open a Chrome page letting you know that Play Music isn't available in your country.
It works extremely well, just as you'd expect from a Google search product

Just a note, the OS refreezes it when you restart the device which buggers up the widget. You just need to defrost it again and put the widget back on the homescreen

I've discovered it yesterday, along with Google Wallet, Books, Magazines and Video... All of these were frozen in my device.
Great stuff.
If your in the UK. Use a free us proxy server to sign into play music once. And you will have play music from then on

Whenever I use sound search it crashes and becomes hidden again

I used Spotflux to get onto Play Music on my PC (Lets you download Play Music uploader and use your 20,000 song allowance) but it still won't enable you to buy music from this widget.
My play store doesn't show any devices for purchasing. If I click on any web links to the nexus 4, 7 , or 10 it just opens the play store app on my phone. I'm running the latest cm10 ROM (Oct 28) and I'm with telus in BC, Canada.
Is anybody else experiencing this?

Try clearing the "default app" data, that way when you click the link you can select a browser instead of the Play Store app.
Same here (Germany, jbsourcery rom). I can only see them in the web market on my computer. No clue why.

Do what wiredpirate suggested. Go to settings, apps, Play Store, and clear defaults then try the links again. Should work fine =]
forgot to mention to pick BROWSER after clicking the links. The devices won't show up in the play store app.

Thanks guys. This worked. Any ideas why we can't see devices in play store app?

Because hardware not available for purchase via the app. Yep, it really is that simple- nothing wrong with your phone, that's just the way it is.
So the video on http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1891#root plays automatically in the background whenever you get to the Samsung Galaxy Note II landing page. Is it possible to stop this from loading until I press play? Or I figured it was code on the page telling it to load that video and play automatically.
Seeing as how alot of us are using tethering already anyway on our phones, it takes up quite a bit of bandwidth that we ALL KNOW Sprint doesn't have to spare.
I have adblock already.

I am not experiencing what the OP is describing. The video does not auto play for me.
Go into your phone's browser settings, find Plugins and set them to Click to Play or Disabled etc.

This is on a full desktop browser guys. Not mobile.
I've never had this happen, not on any of the four separate computers I use (at a minimum) every day.

Chrome, almost exclusively, FF on a random occasion. Two of the computers have Chrome (and all ad-on/settings/b-marks) synced. The other, shared workstation...
Try Chrome in incognito mode, make sure it's not a sh1tty extention.

I have this happen all the time. I use Chrome. I haven't figured out how to stop it, but I know it's Youtube video, and somewhere in my settings, Chrome automatically starts any Youtube video. I noticed the YouTube thing on other sites. I just haven't been able to find the Youtube video on the landing page, but I do know the video playing is from YouTube because I have watched it on YouTube.
So it's A Chrome thing then... Simple enough.

Hello all,
I just got my nexus 7 2013 yesterday! But if I update the newest version of YouTube, it will restart.
If I use any browser Chorme, Aosp, firefox , etc o play video clips from YouTube, or any video pages, it restarts.
I used to have problem with the camera also, but it was fixed with the new update! Has anyone experienced the same problems? And any suggestion to solve? Thank you

Okay clear app data and uninstall updates. See if you can play videos in browser then; if you can, update the app again

This is what I did:
Uninstalled New Youtube app, go back to old YouTube, and it works fine.
Deleted the old youtube and install the new one from play store => restart like crazy
Try to turn on "Force GPU 2D rendering", browsers could go a bit longer than 30 secs before restarting
Every browser has that problem.....
Camera, turned on, and restart, but in the newest firmware with the Q, it was fixed.
Apps like Vevo works normally.
Install Plants VS Zombies 2, restart every now and then

You could always try and go for a complete wipe and flash the Google stock image. I'm pretty sure that it'll be fixed then.

Can I flash stock image through CWM or TRWP?
I think nothing works until now! I bought this in the US, but I came back to Australia already! Cannot return since it is not officially sold in here!
I started thinking about the hardware problems
Hope no one will get bad experience from Google and Asus like me! What a waste of money!
Can only use it to surf web and something like that, multimedia functions are dead!
Anyway! I did a bad choice!

I've got very similar issues, any programs incorporating video randomly lock up and reboot the tablet. I've uninstalled the latest YouTube app and stopped it auto updating which seem to have stabilized that but stuff like Skype still lock up.
Brought mine back from the US to the UK and I'm going to try Asus support see what they say, otherwise I'll have to try rooting and maybe a custom rom in time.
Don't bother to root it! Just bring to Asus since it is official launced there! I rooted, tried a number of different roms, but still the same.
New error for me, flickering screen......

Hello, I am trying to access xhamster website from my phone(Samsung Galaxy Note 2),but when i switch 2 mobile version the page works for couple of seconds, after that my note 2 freezes n i get the message your internet stopped working. I have installed adobe flash player2. The same problem occurs even if i try to open any pdf file in the internet app of galaxy note 2. What is causing this problem and how can it be fixed? Please help.
Isn't xhamster a porn site?
Btw I can't open the site. It says website not available.
Also Android doesn't come with flash these days.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
Yes, xhamster is a porn site. But I guess in mobile view flash player is not required. N I even notice one more thing in the morning between 6-8A.M. the internet app crashes when accessing xhamster website. In the afternoon n evening Internet app doesn't crash while accessing xhamster website
