Don't be so mean. Have you ever got into despair when having a problem? Have you though that the forum name is not the most relevant one? By the way, where should a question like this be posted?!
TO answer the question... it is not easy so solve. You will need to clean your PC of all possible traces of old drivers. To do that, with the phone disconnected, go to Device Manager on PC (google if you don't know how). Then, remove any possible references to your phone using the information from here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ff184583.aspx
After that, install Sony PC Sync software. Follow the steps. At the end, it should tell you that you should connect phone.
Everything should work now (your phone will be finally re-discovered).
Before you do that, also try to disable Debugging on the phone and set the PC connection to MTP.
Good Luck!

You have to flash stock firmware with flashtool and wipe anything. Flashtool will recognize your phone.

The problem is that flashtool not recognize the phone...after a while the phone is connected to a computer, the LED changes to red color, then it does not help (POWER + VOL UP) .. only after some time returned to SONY logo.
Already starting to lose hope: (. Is there a way to repair.
I think the correct drivers are not intalled. You check this ? When led light change color as you said, maybe windows have trouble witth phone/flashtool driver
Previously, I had installed the drivers, and I was able to upload a new flash, etc. Suddenly, plugging into your computer, windows 7 x64 does not detect the device.: (
Do you have drivers for x64? Thank you for your help ..

Correct drivers are not installed. Download the correct x64 drivers for fastboot. Now wen u connct your phone in fastboot. Just keep the device manager opened and right click on the fastboot device that pops up on the device manager. From there go for a manual device installation by doing have disk and pointing to the right winusb.inf file. Search the forum for this method and relax, your phone is not dead.

[Q] Xperia Arc Disaster! Help please!

Hi everybody,
I own Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc (LT15i) which no longer lives under the warranty time period. It became extremely slow, so I decided to flash a new ROM on it in attempt to see if that made it any faster. I rooted it and installed ClockworkMod Recovery on the phone and attempted to flash Xperia Ultimate HD 5.01 through CWM. The installation went perfectly fine, however after I did the reboot my phone doesn't get past the Sony Ericsson logo.
I've looked up all sorts of ways to fix soft bricked and bootlooped Arc's but none seem to work. When I try to use flashtool, I can't seem to be able to connect the phone to the computer and Windows comes up with "USB Device not recognized" and flashtool automatically aborts flashing. When I try to use PC Companion to repair the device, Windows doesn't recognize the device and neither does PC Companion. The same thing happens with Update Service.
I cannot enter flashmode, cannot get anywhere past the Sony Ericsson logo (including trying to access ClockworkMod Recovery) and cannot seem to get Windows to recognize the device. All drivers are installed both from Sony and flashtool.
Is there any other way I can recover my device? Thanks in advance for all help!

Hello,
I can pretty much understand your situation, but this is where we start to have a better understanding of our own device and learn from our mistake.
In fact if you want to use flash tool, you will need to prepare your PC to recognize your mobile, by means of installing appropriate drivers, commonly known as Google SDK drivers.
I shall resume somehow here and try to find a good link for you to read :cyclops:
1. Your PC need to have latest version of JAVA
2. Install Google SDK, choose appropriate drivers and apps to be installed
3.Install flashtool and appropriate devices drivers.
Try to follow this link :
1. Installation of ADB drivers and SDK : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1830108
2. Flashing Kernel and Rom. Be careful with compatibility and other issues, you always have surprises here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1996665
The above link is for HTC if im not wrong, try searching for ARC you will find it, there are loads of tutorial posted on XDA..
Here you go : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1508585
Dont forget read and read until you understand every single terms.
See Ya . .

The problem is that you have GB kernel, but using ICS ROM. These 2 do not work together.
Try another USB cable and/or USB port and try Flashtool/PC Companion again.

Tried that. Still no results. I've also tried using fastboot, and yes I did install all the drivers as well as the Android SDK along with the Java DK. When I enter
fastboot devices
I get no response... When I try to flash a kernel using
fastboot flash boot bootARC.img
It says waiting for device forever. The phone is plugged in and the blue light is on. The screen is still off though. When I connect it in fastboot mode to Flashtool it has the same problem (doesn't recognize the device).
Would Sony be able to fix it for me if I handed it in? Even though my warranty has been void for over a year I could probably just pay for the repair. At this rate I doubt it's possible for me to fix it...

Well that might be the issue,W8.I have W7 and XP never had a problem.
Did you try to run flashtool and connect the phone via usb(turn it off and just connect it don't hold any buttons,if that doesn't woek try turning it on and then connect it)-so that way flashtool might detect the device.Hope you'll get it to work.If nothing helps than try searching on google about these issues for win8.

Did you increase your system and data partition into 419 MB and 440 MB? Because if you haven't you'll get a bootloop with Xperia Ultimate HD 5.01 since this rom needs that space. I read that you have to flash Arc S kernel to achieve this but im stuck at this point because the partitions won't change for me :/
To use fastboot, install the drivers by this method.
The only working method to install fastboot on Windows 8.

Pattern lock bypass on Xperia S

Hi, so I just bought a Xperia S and before doing anything thought I should set a Pattern Lock for security, so I did and now I cant remember the pattern... I bought the phone second hand and so have no guarantee or anything and need a way to get in.
I hadn't even put my Gmail details in yet so thats no use, I haven't installed any recovery or CWM and there is none on there as stock. And USB debugging is turned of...
Ive tried several things ive seen on here but its no use as I cannot use ADB without USB debugging.
Is there any way to get into the phone, past the pattern lock, even for just a second so I can turn on USB debugging, or is there another way to turn it on?
Or does anybody have any other solutions such as ways I can flash CWM onto the device without debugging. As it is a new phone for me I would obviously be happy to erase the data if necessary, I wonder if theres a way to completely erase and reinstall android?
Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated, thanks
Dude,
You could try booting into the stock recovery and doing a factory reset.
In theory it should work.

Dude,
Sorry I forgot that there is no stock recovery, I havn't ran stock on my XS for a while.
You can try using SEUS to flash the current stock firmware, this will erase all data on the phone and be like it was out of the box.
Hope it helps

Tried to root z1 compact, it wont turn on now

Hello everyone,
i just tried to root a z1 compact with a guide. (I cant link it since i don't have 10 posts.
I followed the steps and flashed the "C690X_14.4.A.0.108_KernelOnly.ftf "
Now the phone does not tun on anymore.
The phone has KitKat 4.4.4 on it but i am uncertain if i checked if it's Build 14.4.A.0.157.
I tried to find on what to do next myself, but i got lost with all the available information.
Im a total newbie, can someone please guide me through the process of fixing the phone?
edit: I just downloaded and ran Sony pc companion.
When i connect the phone to usb, the led is glowing green.
When i try to connect it with the pc companion, the led is lighting up red and the software tells me it can't connect to the phone.

Did you wipe the phone before flashing 'kernel only'? If so, you have no romantic, just a kernel. Is your blog unlocked? If so, you can use fastboot to get a recovery installed and flash a rom.
I have kind of a hard time following your reply, im a total newbie as i mentioned before.
I went for the flashing after i installed flashtool and its drivers.
The phone has not been modified in any way before this atempt.
I hope this answers your questions.
After panic mode went off i was able to fix it on my own.
Thanks for trying to help.

I just now read my reply and realized it was the curse of auto-correct. Romantic is supposed to be rom and blog is supposed to be bl, (bootloader). Anyway, glad you're OK now... Also, if you use the 'quote' function, then I'll know you posted and reply quicker.
You probably flashed the z1 kernel and not z1c as you figured out for yourself.

no it didnt work:crying:
I had this Problem aswell many times....i guess u are using windows 8 or 10?
So Adb is giving u the "no device found" message?
What helped my is just trying out all sorts of stuff, reinstalling drivers, trying other drivers like adb universal drivers or lenovo drivers or zuk drivers..... reinstall them and try again.
Also try this one:
google for disabling driver signature verification...(cant post links cause i am a new user)...
and try to directly use the right command for adb...dont rely on the command for finding ur device...i once had a long night where my zuk z2 was bricked after flashing baseband and i had the same problem u had....it never found my device but when i just straight up used the command to unlock my bootloader it suddenly worked.
Also restart ur pc after every driver install.
