Hi all!
There's a way to sync market between phone and site?
The problem is that I have uninstalled some apps ( on device )but they continue to appear in "my apps" section ( on both device and market.android.com ).
This is frustrating cause after a full wipe, the market reinstall them automatically even if they were not installed before the wipe!
Thanks in advance for the answers
No one?
I believe they should auto sync. Maybe u need to refresh it. Go to remove app option, find the market app and select clear data. Do not select remove option. This clears the list of installed apps and searched words. When u go into market again it should refresh the list of installed apps.

Is there a chance that the apps that still appear in Market are ones you have purchased? Because paid apps stay there. You prolly realize this, but worth a shot. Also, you should consider using Appbrain app market, I thoroughly enjoy it.

Hi Guys, Happy New Year . I think i found a weird way google earth can be unfrozen without Titanium Backup. Maybe this was known by most of you, but i didnt know it, so I am sharing it. you can go to http://www.google.com/mobile/android/ on your nexus and click on google earth application icon. It opens a link in google play store application where an option for enabling the application can seen. Once it is enabled the Google application appears in the app drawer. It works until the phone is restarted, Then the application gets frozen again. There are other applications on that web page like google play books, etc but i have had mixed results with them. Earth has been working properly. I think this works only on takju. Check the screen shots or my video on youtube to see what i am talking about.
Small video about this.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stoHWpLl1mI
This may be covered in another thread, but i just received this from google support regarding my continued ***** about not being able to delete unused, uninstalled, non working apps listed on the play store granted.. they still show up on the web but now its not on my GSIII any longer.. Thank god... it took google too long to address this issue: :good:
Thank you for contacting Google. At this time, there is no way to delete records of old apps from the Google Play website (play.google.com).
However, if you're running the latest version (3.9+) of the Google Play Store app on your device (to find out the version you're running, launch Google Play, then tap Settings > Build version), you have the ability to remove apps from your My Apps list. At this time, the latest version of the Google Play Store app is slowly being released to devices around the world.
To do so, open the Google Play Store app > My Apps > All, tap the gray circle on the app you want to remove, then tap OK to confirm. You can select multiple apps to remove from the list by long-pressing an app, then tapping more apps in the list.
Note that you will only see the gray circle for apps that are not installed on that device. Removing an app from your My Apps list will uninstall the app from any other devices associated with your account. To get an app back that you've removed from your My Apps list, you must re-download the item from Google Play. If you remove a purchased app, there's no need to re-purchase that app - simply visit the app's details page on Google Play and re-install it.
If you're still running a version of the Google Play Store app below 3.9, you will not be able to remove apps from your My Apps list.

I wish every time you deleted an app the list didn't refresh all the way to the top.. Also after rom installs do they come back and show again?

Click to collapse
No they do not. They are also removed from the PC version when you log on from there. It makes it so much easier to try and an app and then delete it for good out of your list.
Nice to be able to finally batch delete...now if only we could batch install...

Well..you can now...the downside? Batch remove isn't available anymore.
The list doesnt refresh anymore thank god. It was so irritating when each time you erase the app from the list you have to scroll again to the point where you stopped before removing the app from the list. And I just got to know that you can actually select multiple apps from that list and install them at once instead of going to each app and pressing intall. COOL!!!
Hello,
First let me say sorry if this is the wrong forum for the question, or if it has been asked. I have searched myself into a headache looking for the answer as well as other information before I update my phone to be able to use Google Play.
My question is this... To install Google Play on the Fire Phone you need .apk files: Account Manager, Framework, Services, Store. Well I've seen quite a few places to get these files online. But where do those sites get them? I'm assuming it can't be downloaded via browser plugin (apk downloader, etc) from the PC Google Play store itself, since it's the app that installs other apps.
I'm paranoid and would like to get those four files myself, so I know its safe - if its possible. Any idea how/where?
The answer is probably staring me in the face, but I don't see it.
My guess is that some phones can capture the files as they download from Google updates and turn them into apk form. But I'm not sure... If there is a way to get them myself I'd like to know - if not, what is the safest place to get them?
Thanks!
gG
Well getting here would be a good start. If not like you said in your post go to Google Play store and use the APK plug in or one of the Web sites that do the same.

Found another thread the other day and someone there was able to help me.

Just wanted to say again.
If you want to get the .APK files to install the Google Play store 100% safe ask a buddy to use ES File Manager to back them up for you. Just go into system files and find them, and select backup. Or if you are like me and have an old android phone, back them up yourself - worked like a charm - no issues.
Thanks again.
Hi, Have just restored a Nova Backup on a new phone, with only a few of my standard apps already installed.
Hence, on running Nova, most of the apps are 'grayed out'. Normally in this situations, I click on them, tells me they're not installed and offers to search/install, but, this then opens the Play Store app quickly, but then immediately opens a web browser, at the Google Play store, and things don't go well from there... Have not seen this behaviour on previous phones?
How can I get it to actually install from the Play Store app?
Have checked defaults and nothing wierd there, and also if I disable/uninstall browsers, it tells me to install one as it is needed??
Thanks,
John.
EDIT: Just discovreed this isn't just for Nova, appears that if an app wants to install another app, it opens PlayStore app, momentarily, which then opens a browser...???
Would REALLY like a fix...
