Hey guys,
Is anyone else finding that AOKP JB Build 4 is very loud in call? Tried adjusting the volume to the lowest level and it still seems very very loud ... anyone else experiencing this and if so, is there a fix?
I get that with it as well when ever I talk to some one on the phone they get a bad reverb on their and like hearing an echo of them selves as long as I cover the top mic it stops and turns into a click for them I've tried all the jb roms, and it does it

So.. I don't mean to sound like a troll at all, so please don't take it this way... Just a serious question...
When you are on a call... You can use the volume rocker to lower your in call volume. Have you tried that?
Also, rooting in and of itself shouldn't cause any changes to the phone other than granting super user privileges.

Another option would be do a factory reset and see what that does for you.

First thing I thought of too. Why not just lower the volume?

As you know the speakers are loud on the One. The minimum setting is very loud for an early morning
Anyone know of a more controlled volume app that could set the minimum volume lower for media?

Installed Volume+ from PlayStore - makes it just a little bit quieter, but still not enough

Or wait when devs add volume steps tweak to roms... It's nice tweak...
Really want to keep it stock. I'll get into a ROM spin if I start... And i dont want to start as i wont stop.
Would just prefer this phone as is. Still a little app would be great.

Interestingly, when I use the phone volume button rocker to change the TV volume (via the ir remote app), one push on the phone moves 3-4 increments on the tv

yeah, this would be nice!
Right!
'Fine volume control' from app store seems to work.
FYI volume at its lowest on this phone is 8% which is rather too high.

This is my biggest bugbear with this phone. On minimum volume, both on speaker and headset, it's way too loud. I hope HTC realise this and fix it soon.
OT - does anyone else hear a constant annoying clicking through the headset, even when there is no music playing? I hope HTC fix this too.
there is a mod in the trickdroid thread to increase volume steps. i think its around post 5400

Lol I know the feeling. I definitely don't want to go down that road. At least not right now

Here is a better solution. Dsp manager lite. I just set the db sliders down now I have a lower volume and highest volume is still ok.

Running Jedi Mind Trick and I would like to disable Volume Key wake. /system/usr/keylayout says that the keys are dropped yet I can still wake screen with volume keys and it's rather irritating.
How can I fix this issue? I can't seem to find anything in the rom thread
Is this not normally an issue or is it the norm? 50+ views and no advice? Not impatient, but curious if this is jellybean related, cuz I've found stuff for ics but none of them work.

First of all volume wake is not aJB function...it's a dev creation. As far as ptmr3's rom, it's built in, and a few people have requested a way to disable it. ptmr3 commented he will keep it in mind. Stay tuned to his thread and see if he makes a zip to disable it. He's aware of the request.
