Hey guys I got a note 2 and I like to replace that horrible stock Notifications center with one from the new one from 4.2 is there a .zip file for that yet?
Also is there any other 5 row keyboreds I can use? I dont mind the samsong one but I want to use something like swiftkey with 5 rows.

Does anyone know how to get rid of that keyboard icon in the notification bar when typing? I know it's not really hurting anything, but it's kind of annoying. Or is this something a dev will have to remove from a custom ROM?

I couldn't find anywhere to remove it either.. Just a bit annoying unless you are a multiple keyboard freak that likes to try different ones back and forth
Well hopefully when the devs start really customizing roms, that will get pulled out, sort of like the 100% battery notification on some GB roms.

Last evening i flashed Jelly bean on my GN and it was the perfect ROM for me, but..
the only reason why i restore aokp was nav buttons.
Can anybody make something like this on the screenshot?

Dude I am looking for the exact same thing. I cant live without 4 NA Bar buttons, inparticular adding a MENU button. I searched thru the Jelly Bean RF Sticky and downloaded some potential MODS and APKs but I have seen a clear NAV Bar MODe that enable the adding of buttons.
This is why AOKP is the best they cater to the needs of all I love the ROM Control, I cant live without it sometimes, but I gotta say 4.1 is buttery smooth!

I am running JB and if I click to the far right or far left on my nav bar (In the blank space) it opens MENU. No visible button but same function. Im running bigxie's on GSM GNex.

Hey guys, I rooted my GNex finally (had some free time), and I'm rocking the CM10 M-series build for October. I plan on flashning a nightly soon.
I love that CM10 has emoji in the stock MMS app, but I hate that when my iPhone friends send me certain emoji, I see the android smiley instead of the real emoji for that 'expression'. Is there anyway to get all the real emoji and remove the android smileys completely?
Also, is there some mod to flash to get the iOS 6 emoji on CM10? All I see is a black and white icon when people send me them..

You have to find a custom MMS app that supports emoji. The one I'm using right now can see iPhone emoji, but it's also inverted...not sure if you want that as well.

GoSMS Pro supports the Emoji icons thats not the android version. Maybe you can take a look at that
I was looking for more of a native way, so I can keep using the stock app.
Do any of the flashable mods have all the emoji w/o any of the android smileys?
My wife's sgs2 nav bar died. So I flashed slimbean which has a softkey nav bar capability and that rom kicks ass. Problem is that its her phone and she misses touchwiz. Specifically the calendar. So is the anyone out there that can point me to a rom with touchwiz and softkey nav bar, or even better, guide me to a thread that helps me install softkey nav in the Jedi mind trick ROM? Please help guys.

Thanks man, but those are a no go. Tried the first one and its just a pain (it does work in a pinch, just not suitable for daily use). The second one doesn't install nav softkeys, it just allows you to change their properties if the phone already has nav softkeys, which slimbean already has that customization ability baked in.
oo ok scratch that an maybe try this but not promissed but staying on slim but giving her the Touch wiz 5 launcher that way she can still use the stocky look but still have the navbar maybe ???? if not i hate to say it here but you can try out JellyBam on goo.im and in there settings you can download the TW launcher for her or even paranoid since they have the most customization out there and or stable jelly milestone 6 was the stable and true just a thought to try and help
Use whatever rom you like, with the navigation bars you want. Then pay a couple bucks for pure grid calendar widget. Its pretty much the same as the touchwiz Calender widget....plus themes for it.

I would open the phone and see if the ribbon did not pop out. Replacing is expensive( not the keypad, but the screen) as you have to get the screen out and good chance for damaging. Keypad is cheap.

hi all i have a question. I like to change for example the bluetooth logo in the status bar how to do that? I have done that on older android samsung phones s3 note4 i could change the icon by simple drag and drop the image inside SystemUi.apk !!! So i looked in note 7 systemui found a lot of qmg files ok i readed up a lot about it and was able to vonvert the files with picconv from xda forums a commandline tool for adb or root shell but there is not the files i want to chenge also not in res-framework and twframework.apk the alarm, soundoff, signal wifi is there no simple way to customize this i have hydra 1.3.5 and 3 minit and so on runns fine i just want other statusbar icons for bluetooth signal wifi headphones in older android it works fine now not anymore its for me like a step back i dont like the lame colorless white/black icons I want my cool looking statusbar icons back from the days s3 had i also own flat style bar but this is also not working ass i want it hehe sorry for my bad english hope you can help me and no i didnt bring my note 7 back i sold my note 4 to get a note 7 and now they force me to give it back first they have to give me my note 4 back hehe
