Is anyone else having problems running TEAM Battery Bar on AOKP (JB milestone 1)? I finally got around to flashing AOKP, and I kept on getting reboots. It took me forever to figure out it was TEAM Battery Bar that was causing the problem. Whenever the batter bar service is running, it reboots after a few seconds.
The built-in AOKP battery bar is nice and all, but I like the ability of TEAM's app to set different battery levels for color changes

I'm having a rather paticular issue with the battery icon, and unfortunately searching does not bring any relevant results.
I've flashed numerous 6.1 roms, so do not think it is rom related, as the issue is apparent with all roms - including the oem one.
Sporadically, when the phone wakes up, the battery icon is showing a -1 status, no charge bars - or an empty battery. As soon as I change screens, and then go back to the home screen - the battery icon is showing the actual percentage, etc. Icon appears full based on status, etc.
I've tried a few different battery status icons, including batterystatus as well as the ones that come with the roms, and have the same issue.
Anyone having a similar issue ?? Is it hardware related ??
Any feedback greatly appreciated
Can I find out which app is causing the gps icon to appear? While its on I go to settings under running apps, nothing thats running has gps..
Are you running the stock rom? I never had this issue until I loaded Cyanogen 7 RC1. Unsure what's doing the lookup, but assuming it's what's keeping my phone from sleeping and consuming the battery.
So I recently installed the CM9 kang that's over in the dev forum and I started noticing this weird behavior with the traffic widget where the GPS would remain permanently on while the widget was on the page. Confirmed via the battery stats as well. Thinking it was the ROM, I restored my nandroid backup (totally stock) and noticed the same thing. Has anyone else noticed that their GPS is on 24/7 when they have a traffic widget on their homescreen? I also notice that there is the extra 'trafficappwidgetupdate' service that's continually running and using high cpu cycles, so I'm not sure if something is faulty with the service or the GPS. Any ideas?
Hi
Finding, that the battery from the SGW drops to fast, I installed an so called battery saver app. Firstly I tried juice defender, finding out that I need Pro version to really save energy the way I want to -> deinstalled. Next I tried GreenPower free battery saver. Didn't notice, that switching off WLAN and G3/4 is also only available in pro version. Nevertheless I configured everything in order to give it a try.
Today I noticed, that GreenPower... switched on WLAN and GPS and Blutooth and every other power consuming device. Despite disply brightnes. For what?? So I uninstalled the app.
The problem now is, that GreenPower... switched the display brightness to automatic! Even at the widget "Energiesparmodus" ("powersavings"?) the sign for brightness shows an "A" for automatic. I can adjust the brightness at settings (1000 subfolders) BUT the quick cool sliding at the notification bar is not working any more.
Is there a possibility to switch it on again?
I'm rooted and have Titanium Backup installed with an full backup from last week.
Trying to recover notification bar did not work (screen notification "backup failed" and notification bar was gone; after reboot bar back again, with no brightness regulation).
Anybody with glue for this?

Personally recommend to not use a battery saver apps or some sort eg. when the screen is off data connection will be off.
And when you wake the SGW it will again struggle to look for the data connection signal ...that will take energy away from the battery.

What about installing a custom rom like Bionic cow? Had the same problem with the energy on this device with the stock rom and i tried different "saver"-apps.
At least i gave this rom a try et voilĂ even with intensive use the accu lasts much longer than before. I can't say why this rom reduces the energy consumption, maybe because of the lightweight launcer and some other modifications...
solved
Thanks guys!
It stopped working for 3 days. On the 4th suddenly it worked again. Without doing NOTHING. I even didn't do another reset. curios

Has anyone else noticed that with any of the ASOP or CM builds from time to time the screen will not turn on but the buttons light up? I have had this happen about 3 - 4 times a day no matter what build I am using that is based off of ASOP. The only way out is to hard power off and restart.
Yup. People call it SOD (sleep of death).
It's usually a kernel issue. I found that bumping up the low clock speed voltages helps a LOT. Just one notch in Trickster. The Temasek kernel (I'm using exp6) seems to help as well.
