Is it normal for the battery status bar to be a little slow to appear on the power tab in settings sometimes? It's a bit hit and miss, sometimes it does it, sometimes not. Mostly does this after bringing the phone out of standby, getting a little annoying.
Mine was always instant using the stock rom.
Have just checked it on the custom rom i'm using and don't have that issue on this rom either.
What % of memory is it sitting at? (Mine rarely gets over 50%)
Have you installed a lot of additional apps?
This is with nothing installed except my contacts and diary. My TP doesn't do it and that has got a shed load of apps on it. hmmm
hmm....
maybe someone else running the vodafone rom will pop on and say if they have the same issue.
I honestly can't ever remember having that issue.
Sorry i can't be of more help.
no worries As I say, doesn't do it all the time.
I have an odd issue. I am running the stock ATT rom until I can get the stupid phone to take the HardSPL (different issue being worked on).
The icon at the top shows the battery at full capacitiy all the time. I have Phone alarm on and it has a battery indicator that shows it as low as 20% while battery icon is still 4 bars full. Also there are times when I remove it from the usb and the charging icon stays on instead of showing the battery icon. If I soft reset then it seems to go to normal and the charging icon is replaced by battery which seems to always show full.
I am quickly getting frustrated at this ATT rom. My Kaiser was set up perfectly for my liking and I want to get this to the same point.
Hello my fellow EVOers
I've recently noticed my notification bar missing an icon...
I know a lot of ppl have recently been removing the clock, redundant battery and other icons from the notification bar area, but I seem to have lost the capability to draw down my bar and select whether I'm only charging, disk drive, usb tether, etc. while plugged in to my laptop. It will reappear if it's the 1st time I've plugged in since I reboot my EVO, but after unplugging it, it will not reappear again during that uptime (i.e. I haven't rebooted again...) I am rooted, running stock 3.29 w/ #10 htc kernel from the 3.30 pre-released (mmm... battery).
Not a huge deal, kinda annoying, just wondering if anyone has a simple answer.
Tanks!

I know a few people are experiencing this with the latest drop of Fresh Evo 4.1.1.0 but I am unable to find a solution to this issue on the forums. I updated from Fresh Evo 3.5.0.1 and I'm aware of the loss of widgets in the status drop down, but I'm not that concerned about the loss of those widgets. I would like to have the status bar that displays the battery life, time, cell signal strength, 3G info, and GPS info across the top of the phone. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?
I thougt they only had that for aosp roms
Yea I'm not sure what is causing this. I found two or three posts by other users that had an issue on the prior beta versions of Fresh 4 and they were suggested to update to the full version. They didn't reply after updating because I'm guessing it solved their problem. I don't care for the widgets that were lost in this update but I would at least like to be able to see my battery life and signal strength at the top of the screen.
I don't know if GSAM is simply not reporting it right but since I got my Exynos ultra GSAM is indicating AoD is my highest battery drainer by far, every single day (phone is turned off overnight so it has had multiple reboots and nothing changes). See attached 3 screenshots which show the typical stats I am getting. Any ideas??
In addition to that, every time I reboot the phone, a minute or so after rebooting, it opens the sim card settings screen all by itself, no messages, no errors, just an ok button at the bottom. I have no clue what it wants me to do. It does it every single time I reboot it. I press ok on the bottom of it and it closes that screen and then continues as normal. I have one sim card and one SD card and both seem to be functioning fine (the first time I put the sim in, it did not read it so I had no mobile signal, I took it out and checked it was seated properly in the tray, put it back in and it has read the sim ok ever since so I don't think it is related to that).
On my S20U Exynos GSAM doesn't work at all... Always shows "used 0% in 0h0m" and it doesn't track anything.
I just tried turning off AoD and now I get the same thing but from "com.samsung.android.app.routines" which comprises of packages System UI, Always On Display, Bixby routines which I have already turned off), Sstem UI (again), and LED Cover Service (which is useless to me, I do not use a case).
No idea what is going on.

As soon as i get mine from Vodafone, I'm going on a major debloating session!
Solved it. I was using the default animated lockscreen wallpaper with the bubbles on it. Noticed in my screenshots of gsam it was saying "video" was on the entire entire duration that the AoD was on. Assumed this might be related to the wallpaper so I switched it to the same one but the static version and suddenly AoD is no longer showing as stupid high battery drain in gsam.
I am also no longer getting the sim card issue. I doubt that was related to the wallpaper, it was probably something else I fiddled with that seems to have resolved that!
GSAM's reporting is buggy on the S20U so far.
It will often put one of my random unused apps at #1 with a ridiculous number like 90%, even if they are deep-sleeped.
Unfortunately, none of the big battery monitors seem to be compatible either (BetterBatteryStats has fallback to boot problems etc).

I wasn't aware that Accubattery Pro or GSAM fully worked on Android 10 , last time I checked they didn't .
Sent from my EVR-L29 using Tapatalk
They seem to work now and yes, I am seeing the same issue (AOD consuming a lot) despite AOD being off. I now package disabled AOD and will keep an ee on it. I am also using the animated stock bubbles, as I quite like them
Checked after posting, indeed disabling the package did not seem to help - I now switched to the one and only wallpaper - pitch black
