No, the I9100 does not in any way output video from the 3.5mm jack.

Anyone know of a decent ac charger that works with the nexus? I have like 5 micro usb chargers from various old phones, but only one or two work with the nexus.
I used the one that came with the phone

I use the one that came with my Nexus One. It's 5W charger, like the Samsung wall wart, but has a cable that's a foot or so longer. I keep the Samsung at the girlfriend's. At work I use a 5V/.85a motorola that I found lying around.
Any brand name charger will work fine. Off brands...well...you get what you pay for sometimes.
Idk if itll help, but I have an HP Touchpad in the house, and the "barrel" like wall adapter and a random micro-USB charge with "AC" power as shown by the nexus.
tl;dr buy an HP touchpad charger on the cheap.

i am currently using this one instead original charger,it works fine. works great on my samsung android phones and iphone4 , except ipad2.the package with a free usb cable that for samsung galaxy tab . so you need a normal android usb cable, charger really small and great lookinghttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150731518...18326&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_fvi=1&_rdc=1
Can I use my iPad charger to charge my Galaxy Nexus.
IPad : The input says 0.45A 50-60Hz
The output says 5.1V 2.1A
While the the Gnex charger says
Input 0.15Hz 0.15A
Output 5.0V 1.0A
Will it be fine for the Gnex battery?
Any harm on doing this?

Hey! Does anyone know if the MHL connector for the SIII is compatible with the the O.G? I just recently switched and I had my old one, but it seems like it won't plug in. Any help would be appreciated.

AW: Galaxy SIII MHL?
i think there are all the same
That's what I thought but for some reason it doesn't seem like it fits.

That's because Samsung changed the number of pins on the charging port from 5 (which MHL requires) to 11 on the GS3. The OEM Samsung MHL cable takes this into account and is made for the SIII's 11-pin port. There was also an adapter made for the S3 which made it 5-pin compatible. Next time, if you still have your GS3, take a look at the differences in the charging port between the two phones.
For the LGOG, you just need a standard (non-Samsung) MHL cable.
Hi,
I have mhl cable
I have HDMI cable.
I have LG LED HDTV
I connected the mhl cable to my s4 and connected HDMI cable to the mhl port. I switched on TV and selected the HDMI as the input but nothing is coming up on my TV screen.
In my knowledge, using mhl cable or adaptor I should be able to share my screen on my TV.
Any idea why it's not working as intended. Also is there is any way to play games on to my TV from my phone?
Your help is much appreciated.

Which MHL cable/adapter are you using? There are a lot of knockoffs and cheap-O brands.

Hi,
Happy Christmas
Am using Samsung mhl adaptor which I bought along with my galaxy s2.... now am trying to use it with my s4... but it's not working....

You need the new mhl 2.0 adapter. The s3 started with the new adapter and the one for the s2 won't work anymore

Try The Samsung Brand
Samsung Makes a MHL to HDMI OTG style converter, I got one from amazon and it works for me, They tend to be a little bit more money compared to other though
Thanks All for your replies. that makes sense.
i will try to buy one, any recommendations apart from the Samsung brand?
Thanks!!! Any Recommendations?

Hi, I am looking for a device that can put whatever is on my Nexus screen to my TV. I have tried a rocket fish MHL adapter, but it did not work. If you know of anything that will do the job for a Nexus 7 2013, please let me know!

The nexus 7 2013 uses slimport, not MHL. They can be found on amazon, ebay, etc.
I noticed the Slimport goes from in USB to HDMI female. Would I have to buy a HDMI male to male adapter then too?

Just a regular HDMI cable will be fine. The female HDMI on a Slimport lets you use a cable as short or as long as you require.
