I just installed the update and now when running Quadrant I'm getting 4000 4500 scores. First got the phone I was in the 6000 range. What's the deal? Any thoughts?

Quadrant is not a good program to use. It fluctuates a lot for no reason
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk 2
does it feel any slower? if not then don't worry about benchies
On LJC with multi view mod and getting quadrant score of 6150..

I have begun to see some things. Nothing phased the phone. Now after update Swype at times won't come up. I installed the newer version when I got the phone since it only had an Old version on it & it was fine. I am starting to see weirdness in other areas to now.
Now you have it installed and still get 6000 quad? I'm inclined to think I should reset or flash back then update then add my stuff.

Running quadrant framerates only hit up to 41 tops when I first ran it they were hitting 60.

I'm up to 5 now from flashing between ICS builds, mainly because I'm so used to CWM from my Evo.
Let's have a contest to see who has the highest, more than likely a dev.
I think most of us have the counter reset
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
I think my highest was around 20.
Not a Dev and never reset. I'm at 20

mine was up to 20 or so
21 right now
54

HAHA I have never had it go beyond 0. Likely a dev or someone careless.
Flashed most of the leaks and repacked kernels even rooted a couple leaks myself. Even some of those early kernels they warned us would trip the triangle.
Mine was up to 5 then I started using triangle away.
I was at 107 before ics came out and i got to use trios triangle away

Mines like 41. Lol
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
Why don't you guys just buy the jig for like 5 bucks? Then you can get rid of the triangle and reset the counter in one shot. If you have a newer bootloader that doesn't take the jig, you can flash the old one that does.
I just did 2 quadrant tests and got around 2600 average I'm on the 8/10 build anyone else?

I scored close to 4700 on the latest build of cm10

I don't get why everyone is obsessed with quadrant scores jelly bean is just smoother and faster than ICS and quadrant will never show that
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
Quadrant is simply a random number generator with "pretty" pictures.
Its completely useless otherwise.
I am think it was because of low battery and the overheating that must've allowed down the cpu because now I'm running at 4800 and 60 not like 30 fps before. So it must be some heating issue with the phone that slows down

they got xp running on the HTC Evo 3D. Now the GS3 is much more powerful. (1.5 GHz compared to 1.2 GHz, 2 gb ram compared to 1 gb ram.) Is it possible to run xp on this phone?

I think some folks missed a bit of minor sarcasm or joking amongst old computer users
(That said--OS/2 and older SunOS is doable via emulators, most likely. There is at least one emulator for Android that even lets you emulate a VAX )

Had the phone about a week now. First benchmark was in the 5000's. Now benchmark is in the low 4000'S. below the one x. Had anyone else been noticing this?

You're still using quadrant?
..........
That's my solution for you.
And what have you done since then... app installs, background sync and update processes, power settings, etc.
Those things impact results. But those numbers mean nothing. Your phone likely still feels just as fast and wonderful.

Well my isn't down
On my Note 2, the wifi seems terribly slow. My old phones pull about 40mb/s down and 30mb/s up,
while on this Note 2 I only get about 10 mb/s down and 20mb/s up.
Did Samsung or ATT cripple the Wi-Fi performance on purpose to push their LTE service?
if you are getting good Wi-Fi Speeds, please share your configuration.
This is not a thread for E-peen.
30 MB up? Lol what kind of internet are you using?
Try a different server.. Most users here will average 20 to 40 MB down and 1 to 5 MB up
Sent from my SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
I'm getting about 20 down and about 15 up on Wi-Fi. Which is odd, because the Mac in the other room gets about 30/40 down but only 6/10 up. So I get better upload speeds on the Note than I do on the Mac.
Was streaming Hulu on the PS3 when I ran this test, so I dunno if I would get better results without that.

Man here in Ontario most if not all cable providers don't offer anything higher then 5mb up. I never realized the states has that much better plans.
I always get 1 mb up and just noticed its now 2 Lol. I get better results on LTE

Really? It seems that in an area with LTE you'd have some 5mb+ Internet. What part of ontario are you in?
