Source code for the SGH-l317m released - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I emailed Samsung and they gave me a link to download the source code for SGH-l317m. Just in case you guys didn't know, they are giving it out now. If you already knew this than ignore this!

So where's the link? Or is it just on opensource.samsung.com?

I'd be interested to hear about official firmware

Cyanogen Mod (rom) - same as the other GSII's?

So I've done the whole search thing, and XDA now offers a cool display of related threads when I start a new one...but I haven't found something related to Cyanogen Mod 7.1 for our variant of the GSII.
I hesitate to flash cyanogen because 1. it's not stable anymore (according to their forums), and 2. our model of the GSII is arguably not like any of the other GSII's because we have a different chipset.
Had anyone tried to flash cyanogen mod onto this phone or does someone know that it works?
Thanks in advanced!
10-22-2011 EDIT: So people don't need to sort through the clutter, the answer is no there isn't CM7.1 for the T-Mobile variant of the GSII and no one should attempt to flash the one from cyanogenmod's website for the GSII.
Thanks for answering my questions!
Cyanogen mod roms are built specifically for each device. Don't ever try to flash a build from another device. Even the ATT and International galaxy s2 have differently builds even though they're pretty much the same phone

I believe CM isn't even available for our phone yet. Only for the other SGS2 models.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
DO NOT attempt to flash roms that were not specifically made for our devices! The ONLY roms that are safe for the TMO GS2 can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1332
Thanks for the information. I thought that would be the case.

Yeah I am a smart guy, thanks. I helped out the OP by telling him that CM isn't available yet. What did you do? Oh well, thanks for trying to contribute though.

None of the unlock solutions from the market work on our devices. If you are a T-Mobile customer, you can call in and request the unlock code, otherwise you can get it by faxing in your sales receipt. There is a good discussion of the topic here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18643213

My statement was in reference to the GSII only. Users reported too many bugs...but again that's not for our GSII.
If you check their forum there is no more "stable mod" link to 7.1 for the GSII.
The mytouch4g should be fine.
FYI: http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/33171-what-happened-to-stable/

I apologize to you if my question was naive. At least I didn't go posting in the developer forums.
The development seemed active enough for this device that I was considering there was a chance of availability. I'm also not rushing or demanding anything from the developers/developer community. I also give thanks and donate to them.
Other's have graciously answered my question, and to them I say THANKS.

Not to sound negative, but 1000 sigs and they will be forced to? I'm sure they have had the demand. I doubt that's what has held it up.

Verizon may be holding up the OTA, but it is HTC who will release kernel source.
I want kernel source more than the OTA. That would allow the devs to deliver ROMs far better than any OTA can provide.

You haven't noticed that the other thread you are linking to have been locked/closed by lack of source code. In what would a new thread about this would be useful. When you'll get the source then maybe it would be helpful. Without source nothing can be done.

i am not allowed to Post link here directly to please PM me i will provide the Link that i am referring .
Ampeferic is working on 3.2 and 3.4 kernel, so just wait his releases
I think Amperific's work has stopped on 3.4 kernel due to a broken Galaxy Nexus !!
Thread is closed for now
Thread has been closed as there is no point directing a kernel without being able to get the sources.

Wait... Source?

Okay so how did no one tell me my (and many others) late night ***** fest tree between HTCDev and I finally bore fruit? Guys we did it... ::high-five!::

No it's still there. I am staring at it right now in awe bc they FINALLY did it. If you wanna see the run down of the arguments I started a post saying that HTC told me it was to be posted presently after I threw GPL in their face 90 times and then others here started bombarding them as well. That was a month ago. Presently to HTC is apparently a month.
