I keep on getting logout from the forums - About xda-developers.com

I used Chrome in all my devices (1 laptop, 1 desktop, 1 ipad and 1 One X). It seems that somehow I keep on getting logged out even though I ticked "remember me" when logging in.
Any ideas? It doesn't happen in other forums. just this.
thanks!

Yes, there are other users who are facing these problems mate.. see these threads which were right below your thread when you created it.

Error with forums - Needs fixed

When trying to access the 'Themes and Apps' link of the Evo 3D section from the 'Compact Forum Index' it gives a 'you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:' error. This only happens when view the 'Compact' forum version and works fine when viewing the 'Expanded' version or the 'Sub-Forums : HTC EVO 3D' version.
This happens from multiple locations and does not matter if I am logged in. It probably also happens to others as I've seem some vague posts referencing it.
I see the issue. I will report it and get it resolved.

Log In Issue

Every Time I come to the site, I have to keep on login in and can't understand why. I have it checked to keep me signed in, but it does no good.. I do not have this issue with any other site I belong to. What is the deal?

+1000 LOL That seemed to fix it. As soon as I changed it, I was loged in without actually having to type in my username or password..

Incorrect number of threads in some forums

Hello,
Ive noticed for about two days now that sometimes when i go to the HTC One AT&T forum, the thread counts are off. In other words, earlier in the day a sub-forum may have had 30 threads, i look now and its only showing 9. If history repeats itself, it will be back to the full amount later.
I cant figure it out, but its quite a nuisance since im trying to follow quite a few threads.
Has anyone else seen this? Ive tried multiple browsers, cleared cache, tried signed in and out of my account.

Don't know about the problem, but if you want to follow some threads you can simply subscribe to those. May be you can ask bitpushr about the problem.

Better to provide a screenshot of the issue and along with your browser name and version and OS you are using.. to help troubleshoot the problem..
Also, its better to report this here

site constantly reloading unless JavaScript is off.

This started about a week ago(?). It happened once before and then stopped.
I have to turn off JavaScript to browse xda.
Tried chrome, Firefox and opera. All the same across multiple devices running g 4.3 and ⁴.2.2 at work and home.
I'm going to assume I'm the only one.

The site admins are already looking into the issue.

xda-developers.com keeps loading forever

Hi,
for some time now, I can't access https://www.xda-developers.com on two different Windows machines with firefox. Trying to access the site, I will see the black bar at the top for a second or so, then the screen just turns white and firefox keeps loading to death.
Works with chrome on the phone, though. Would anybody know what might be the issue here?
Having the same problem on my PC, using Waterfox. Can load the forums but not the main site.
Updated to the latest version of WaterFox and can view the site again.
Hello
I write to Webmaster XDA and he was experiencing an DDoS attack. Now is resolved.
Best Regards
How come XDA is so slow in general?
Long ping time when clicking on a link on the site or loading a new page? Long loading times etc.
I know Leaseweb is fast because I have dealt with them in the past...but its only XDA that I find very slow to go to.
Sometimes the xda does not load and it could be the ddos as mentioned above.
But it cant have ddos attacks all the time?
The server admins have been doing a lot of work on this lately and the situation should be improving. Thank you for your patience.
Borked again for the last 2 days now.
Posted this in another thread because I didn't know where else to. Getting the same thing, some clicks are taking over 10s to even respond (they were upward of 25s yesterday). It's not a server problem, I'm 3ms to leasweb, even less to their cdn. Anything hitting that is fine.
It's like half the site is loading from India or they are having some serious capacity problems (cache hot requests fair better for example). With threads having hundreds if not thousands of pages, trying to read 8 at a time is atrocious.
Is RSS or something else available?
