Has anyone else had a few weird happenings with AOKP clock? It seems to only update when I unlock the phone twice. Is there a cheeky way around the problem?

I just had this very problem on CM9 0316.
I had the same issue while running AOKP M4, thought it was just a strange glitch though.
I am also having the same problem with aokp m4 clock. Waiting for a fix
It's just strange that the "lock clock" works perfectly and if i change ANY setting that has anything to do with the clock via ICS or the Rom, it updates. Any clues to why it's happening?
Is it possible to disable vibration while we unlock the screen?

I am unaware of how to do this but I believe in one of CM9's latest nightlies that there is an option that allows you to do this.

Enjoy the speed of Vanir but want all of AOKP's great features? Give this a try. I built AOKP on top of Vanir's excellent Linaro system. All credit to those teams, I simply did the leg work to make everything play nice. I will update this frequently but not committing to "nightlies". trying this as well now how does one define the color for the missed call led on aokp? I can only find applications, do you just choose Contacts for that?

Yup no reason it shouldn't.
Edit: actually on second thought, no it might not. AOKP's MMS has tie ins to frameworks now that this may not have. Feel free to try but keep a backup
Basically, I want to take the circle battery (animation and all) from the latest version of ParanoidAndroid and put it on AOKP. How would I go about doing this?

The CM circle battery (PA is using CM's battery) is done entirely in code. So it is going to be a bit of work to get it to work.
Since all of this is open source, the best way to accomplish porting of features is to do it from source. You would probably have an easier time picking the CM battery from a ROM that uses ROM Control, as both PA and CM don't use ROM Control. Xylon and Rootbox both have this I believe, and both have RC or their version of it at least.
Import drawable from PA and replace into AOKP systemui.apk
Use AOKP's circlemod option
Use theme manager with theme that use this drawable
Mod SystemUI.
