What Body Colour you'll prefer for Galaxy 3?

I have a white colour body. It looks cool and nice. I know most have black but white isn't bad either. What's more about this is it has greyish front plastic so we can choose and replace back cover of colour which we want. Here is screenshot

I prefer Black without a doubt!

The store I bought it from had only one copy left, and the color of it was 'chic white'. If I could've chosen I'd probably have gone with the black.
But tbh the white doesn't look bad at all.

i prefer black but when i bought my phone there weren't black versions so i get the white one
now i know it was a good decision because you wont see scratches on a white cover

well i have black, my wife has white but as a guy i stick with black

I can't stand them... they are a bad attempt to look retro.

I prefer a black phone, but I thought the white Sprint GSII looked pretty good. I had the black one before I switched to Verizon.

a friend got a white iPhone 4
it is getting lightly yellow at the edges, looks like never washed fingers, lol

I love most phones when they're in white, but this one...not so much. Might look better in person though.

In my opinion Nexus S in white, or rather black and white looked pretty nice I think that some phones do look better in white but there are very few.
This one looks like crap and I hope it's just someones photoshop work.

Stupid... but of course now my girlfriend wants one. At least she can respect the hardware/software I guess!

The sole reason why white doesn't make sense is because the black soft key area won't blend in with the bottom of the phone anymore. Same with the top notification bar.
It doesn't look uniform anymore from the bezel to the screen. Not only does the result look ugly, but it now seems as if the screen is somewhat smaller.

Agreed. Most likely it'll stay black because its a Super AMOLED HD screen.
Whites = use a lot of power on AMOLED screens whereas blacks use none.

Yeah, but now I'm contemplating on whether I should get the Red one by exchanging my white one, or just buying the replacement back and having a candy cane phone D:

I wonder what a red back cover would look like on a Blue? I guess that'd be ugly. Would be neat to see all the combos of colors though, someone at a store should post a video.
How ironic though that BIG RED Verizon didn't get the Red one.

you guys are all talking about "i'll just get the official red back cover when it comes out" yet you realize, they're not selling it separately...

I have to admit, I thought it was going to be MUCH gaudier than that. That is surprisingly good looking to me. I am actually considering swapping my Pebble Blue for it.

AT&T Red Galaxy S III who's getting it?

Just wondering who else will be trying to trade their S III for a red one and if anybody knows whether or not the red one will be caleum or the newest update that removes searching on the phone.

Call the store today. Found out the release date will be July 29. Sadly I preordered my Galaxy S III and activated it on June 23 so I am going to have to find a manager that will be cool and hopefully allow me to extend my 30 day exchange time a bit or else I will not be getting red .

I like the pebble blue, which is kind of a metal'ish blue, very nice... but I have to admit, I've always had a thing for red... red cases, red cards... so a red phone ...

I got the pebble blue. Although even if the red was available for purchase I dont think I would have choose the red anyway, I'm not really a big fan of red. I hope this thread don't start a bloods and crips war lol jk.

I'm surprised the recent color choice we got from HTC and Samsung. Not only they didn't have the most common and used color - black (AT&T), but Samsung managed to provide odd blue as main color choice with a slogan "inspired by nature"...seriously?
Red is not my cup of tea, however I'd exchange for black if had a choice.

Happy with my Pebble Blue.

Just swapped my white one for the pebble blue today at best buy. I'm actually liking it more than the white. I don't think I'll go for the red (if I was even able to)

Ahh... I refused the blue color for the white because I thought it would be a more basic blue than a nice silvery color.
I wonder how it'll look if I switch out the white cover for the blue one, but not the entire phone?
The red is too red for my taste :<

I actually ordered a white carbon fiber battery door replacement on eBay for the white one I returned. I'm gonna see how it looks on the blue. Maybe, maybe not.

Pebble blue all the way. Looks the best IMO. I know a couple people that want the red, actually doesn't look bad.

The red sounded great until I saw the shade of red at&t went with. Yuck.

I am happy with my white SGS3, though if it had to be replaced I would consider getting the blue one.

Mirror Purple exterior color in close look

This color is something else!. Shifting from mirror grey to purple indepence of environment.
Device looks very expensive from any corners. Specially nice to see a black screen with grayish purple metal frames. Basically sometimes it gives exactly same bmw/mercedes purple windshield reflections lmaoo
Another choice was a white. (Didn’t like aluminum frames in close viewing point, but very nice on a sun thought, because light aluminum frame color shifting to white and matching white back cover)

I originally wanted the Black but didn’t find it in stock when ordering online, so went for the Purple ahead of the white as I don’t like seeing white frames around the bezels when consuming media content.
And Boy was I happy I that I couldn’t find the black in stock!! The Purple is so gorgeous and look very expensive.
I’m about to apply a trusted clear skin to the back as it’s so unfair not to enjoy the Colour of this phone as well as it’s feel in the hand.

Lmao my previous Xperia 1 was in black....it was a nightmare... constantly dusty and fingerprinted.

This is fast unboxing for Xperia 1ii purple version

The purple is nice but not a fan of the black buttons/fingerprint reader. Would have been better if they were matching the colour of the phone.

Purple looks great! Though I wasn't a fan of the chrome look in different lights. I went with the black especially when I read about the paint peeling off for white/purple variants.

I'm in the US so I have the black version but I really want the purple one. I never thought I would say I wanted a purple phone but man is it sharp. I'm trying hard to keep myself from ordering a 2nd one in purple.

To be honest i was nervous because AT52 firmware and i couldn't install at51 US base firmware.
But after sony release new version of US firmware everything went like on previous Xperia Devices... smooth. Now I have at52 with US a51 firmware and my favorite color !
