Call the store today. Found out the release date will be July 29. Sadly I preordered my Galaxy S III and activated it on June 23 so I am going to have to find a manager that will be cool and hopefully allow me to extend my 30 day exchange time a bit or else I will not be getting red .
I like the pebble blue, which is kind of a metal'ish blue, very nice... but I have to admit, I've always had a thing for red... red cases, red cards... so a red phone ...

I got the pebble blue. Although even if the red was available for purchase I dont think I would have choose the red anyway, I'm not really a big fan of red. I hope this thread don't start a bloods and crips war lol jk.

I'm surprised the recent color choice we got from HTC and Samsung. Not only they didn't have the most common and used color - black (AT&T), but Samsung managed to provide odd blue as main color choice with a slogan "inspired by nature"...seriously?
Red is not my cup of tea, however I'd exchange for black if had a choice.
Happy with my Pebble Blue.
Just swapped my white one for the pebble blue today at best buy. I'm actually liking it more than the white. I don't think I'll go for the red (if I was even able to)

Ahh... I refused the blue color for the white because I thought it would be a more basic blue than a nice silvery color.
I wonder how it'll look if I switch out the white cover for the blue one, but not the entire phone?

I actually ordered a white carbon fiber battery door replacement on eBay for the white one I returned. I'm gonna see how it looks on the blue. Maybe, maybe not.

Pebble blue all the way. Looks the best IMO. I know a couple people that want the red, actually doesn't look bad.

I am happy with my white SGS3, though if it had to be replaced I would consider getting the blue one.

I wonder what a red back cover would look like on a Blue? I guess that'd be ugly. Would be neat to see all the combos of colors though, someone at a store should post a video.
How ironic though that BIG RED Verizon didn't get the Red one.

I have to admit, I thought it was going to be MUCH gaudier than that. That is surprisingly good looking to me. I am actually considering swapping my Pebble Blue for it.

It will depend on the carrier and what colors it chooses to bring on board.
So far it looks like Tmo is only looking at the black one.
Either way, I wouldn't use an upgrade just to get a different color or even try to sell the one I have and pay the difference.
That's usually how it goes, that's the negative of getting the device first and not holding up.
But being a Raiders fan, that Grey is ****in sick!!

At the moment i have a white case, but within a week it's changing to blue, te colour of my pants...
Can someone recommend me a white case that doesnt change of colour? A white one?

I've ordered the one suggested above!
I would recommend the clear transparent gel cases. It looks great as it's the original colour of the One X that shows through.
And as it's transparent and colourless, I would think that it's impossible to discolour over time.
Can't post a link but search 'HTC One X clear case' on ebay.
Transparent cases turn yellow after a few months. The very first case I got for the HOX was transparent and it turned yellow. Not a nice yellow!

Ah ok, I only got mine yesterday so I'm still in the honeymoon period. Although at about 2 quid a pop I'll just keep replacing it. Unless it goes yellow ridiculously quickly that is.

I was also thinking of grey as here in india we have craze of white from car to phone to cover. like if some one wants car he will go for white and for cars white color is going USD2000 in black.
and all samsung phones here even is 100usd or 900 usd , all go 4 white.
so, grey will be unique and 90% m with grey.
btw, is there any pros and cons of white VS Grey ?
If you need help just for the colour of your phone I don't wanna be there when you will chose your car or or your computer lol ...

When using a white phone in bright sunlight, the white parts get so bright that you can't see the screen. I saw this on a friend's S3. The blacker the phone, the better the contrast with the screen. I'm very disappointed that Samsung didn't release a black version, though I'm sure they will make a carrier-specific black model like the S3 has in some countries, but only after I have bought mine, because I'm that lucky .
I'm picking up a grey one tomorrow. I'll never buy a white phone.

That actually looks like LCD burn. My HTC desire is suffering from that. The blue dot is confusing me a bit though. If I were you, definitely RMA it. It will not go away.
This made its way to my Nexus 7 too a week ago , only red and much smaller.. wasn't there before , really have no idea why this happened.

Even bigger blue and red blotches. Visible only on highest brightness and black background. I found them with the "Dead Pixel Test".

A big Blue splotch visible on the highest brightness in black towards the top right , and a faint red splotch in the middle of the screen. May RMA it but, it will probably have to go back to ASUS for a long time as I bought it from Currys in the UK.
I think I'll end up rmaing mine I just hate how long it will take..

Mine has a blue spot and it was there from day one. It's very small and I never see it unless on a black screen in a dark room. But I have an rma that I ordered on Saturday so hopefully it ships tomorrow. Didn't rma for the blue dot btw. Paid for 2 day shipping so I'm hoping to have it by the end of the week. I don't mind waiting as I get to use my current n7 till I get my new one. So I don't see not rmaing because of how long it will take. The only downfall with doing an RMA is that they will put a hold for the full amount of the tablet plus tax. They offer free 3-5 day free shipping and the hold will fall off usually within a 5 days to a week depending on your bank or card issuer.

Asus obviously messed something up on this device's screen because mine has several red and blue dots as well and a dead pixel as too, I don't think I can RMA it as i have flashed cyanogenmod to it before noticing, can I?

Wonder what the manufacture date of those defective units are. I just RMAd my n7 LTE bought new in November 2013 for this very issue. My replacement was manufactured in November 2013. Haven't had any issues *yet* and also the touchscreen bug is gone.
Mine has one blue dot and some light protrusion on the sides. I'm not sure if it's as big as the one in the first picture but it's definitely visible on dark (especially black) backgrounds...
