you can't flash the old firmware, you can't downgrade, have you done a full wipe?

You flashed an RUU to revert to Stock Gingerbread right? Stock Gingerbread requires the stock hboot, CM7r2 is not big enough to contain it. Hence the HTC logo and 4!. Go and flash hboot downgrader from AlphaRev and reflash RUU again. The 4! screen acts as fastboot so just fastboot flash from that screen.

Oh My GOD!
ok guys i am in confusion here
i have leedroid rom installed with 1.26 firmware
but now i want to try out the Android Revolution HD 3.0.0 rom which contains the latest 1.28
so my question is can i simply flash the rom and then the boot.img in the hboot
or do i need to do something before that???
Is this urgent?!
Before flashing, you should do a full wipe in recovery if coming from another ROM.
Then you can flash the boot.img in fastboot.

I think you are just about right, maybe do a wipe before flashing the zip?
Cheers
Hello, my problem is that I updated my phone's Hboot, but my phone is S-ON and I updated it but it needed S-OFF. Now when I Turn it on it gets stuck on the Boot. Please help me! Thanks alot
Well since you updated your hboot have you flashed a Sense JB ROM? Because there would be absolutely no point in upgrading hboot if you're not going to be using a Sense JB ROM.
Don't worry about the S-OFF stuff, you don't need it.

Did it successfully update to latest hboot? Have you reunlocked bootloader? Have you reflashed custom recovery? Have you flashed custom ROM?

Nope, it did not update to the latest Hboot. I have no problems with the custom recovery and no I have not flashed a custom rom

have you tried restoring a nand back up with your custom recovery ?
sounds like you are stuck in boot loop, fast boot erase cache should work if the nand back up will not flash ( restore )

If the hboot didn't stick its relatively easy..take everything back to stock..or just update recovery again
Try various Roms...some can just simply be a pain in the ass

Yes, I flashed boot.img. I installed it from the pc on command mood.
N.B: The devoloper said to install JB TWRP recovery. But it didn't respond. Nothing was working. So I used CWM. Does S-On matters?

At bootloader it also says some features are disabled. What are those? Is that creating the prob?

You can't instal ICS ROM your hboot is to high you can flash custom ROM based on JB 4.2.2 and newer if you wamt something close to stock use ARHD or Mahimus from android section if you want AOSP try in original android section and be sure you are Endeavoru and use rom downloaded from this forum.
Forget about ICS roms you can't flash on hboot after 1.12 only JB and not to old JB because tuch will not work on older JB base
Should I install recomended recovery for the specific rom or anyone will do?

You must to flash custom recovery is you want sense or 4.2.2 rom based you can use Philz 5.15.9 if you want 4.4.x you need latest recoverys like CWM 6.0.4.8 or TWRP 2.7.1 or Philz latest
Hi!
I just HTCdev unlocked the bootloader and rooted the HTC Desire HD and everything was fine. I was in the stock ROM rooted, so I flashed the recovery and then I tried to install some ROMs and everything failed, I was stucked in the HTC loading screen...
I tried to flash several ROMs but the result was always the same: stuck in the loading screen. I did a full wipe everytime of course, but it didnĀ“t solve anything.
At the end I tried to flash this:
[ROM][DEC 8] Official RUU_Ace_Sense30_S_HTC_WWE_3.12.405.1 STOCK ROOTED
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1382235
And it worked!
But if I tried to flash another ROM like SlimBean but again, stucked...
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
This rom is old school. U need an old recovery..what rom are u interested in...cm.. or sense?

I actually realised that I was in S-ON so I had to flash the boot.img separately. It worked then!
Thanks!
