When I bumped my density down to 240 the Samsung keyboard keeps crashing. Anyway of getting it to work? I use the pen writing option a lot and won't get that with a third party keyboard. But 320 density is a bit too big for me

Worked for me to, ,but when you get away from a stock density (180, 240 and 320) it trends to break the compatibility of market apps. I'll have to see what happens

All of a sudden my phone is sluggish and when I check the market a lot of the apps are showing up under my apps....I navigate to need and a yellow message at the top says this app is not compatible with your device..

It's the lcd. Change it back to 240, or downgrade to a 2.x.x market.

Yup, that's the problem. One of the few negative effects of changing lcd density along with the offset dialer

It's a personal preference. I like 210. I changed the dialer to Go Dialer. I am using LCD Resolution.

Does Go Dialer also work during a call?
I tried exDialer but during a call it would load the stock dialer/keypad which is very small..
Questions go in the Q&A section
I downloaded an app that changes the screen dpi. I have it set to 180 dpi now. Can anything bad come out of doing this?
Is this a good dpi, or is there something better?

It can cause issues with Google play, some apps might give you an error saying the device isn't compatible.

But it wont cause any physical damage?
If you want to change DPI I recommend you try Paranoid Android. It's a pretty solid ICS rom and you change between phone, tablet, or a hybrid UI and change the DPI accordingly.

The initial play store screen shows only apps, magazines, and music.
Everything else seems to be fine.
I think what he means is that certain apps, in the store, will not show up as compatible for your phone based on the density you select. This is true even if your phone is actually compatible with it.
I used texdroider dpi worked good with jmt

So I have my gn2 set at 268 dpi which is fantastic. But there's lots of apps in the play store that I can't download because of my dpi. Does anyone know of a way I can get around this without changing my dpi back to 320 all the time? Thanks in advance.
