This is how it happened. was wiping snow off my car and my note 2 fail on the ground without my knowledge drove off and went to wally mart for some groceries. on my way home i realized that my phone was missing. pulled over on the side of the road looked inside my car nothing. drove back to wall mart no 1 saw it. then came home tried to call it and i was hearing the phone ringing it seemed from far away but i can see the screen was lit up where i parked my car earlier.
Still alive?

Higher quality, faster processors, bigger screens. Samsung, the best iphone yet.
Applnoughts, applesheep, apple dumb.
Ive converted a few diehards when they see me playing games on my bigger screen with my ps3 cobtroller. Im cellphobe teckie guy at my college. Lol. They ask how do I do that, I say take ur iphone and blend it into pulp n buy a samsung device.
As for your squisheded phone. Samsung builds high quality devices. Trust past expereince, not hearsay, espeshaly internet hearsay. Unless that is if all french models r realy from jersey. "Bonjornio"

Well, then came the day I was going in to exchange it...I was skating there and I hit a rock and my phone flew about 20 feet away. The screen was DESTROYED. Brought it back to the sprint store hoping for the best...handed it to the tech and she looked at me like I was insane, then handed me my new phone. Buy a tpu case. It is like 9.99 on Amazon and has saved my phone a number of times. Once my headphone cord got hooked on a door and caused me to throw my phone to the floor (not drop, throw lol). Picked it up and the phone was fine.
You will have to cut the volume rocker out of the case. It is insanely hard to press for some reason. I used a knife and scissors to cut the volume rocker out of the case, was easy to do, once you get the hole you can almost finish by hand just by tearing it.

as of right now, sprint really doesn't have a policy about phones that are rooted other than putting it back to stock. If the problem is still there after the stock rom is on the phone, then it is still covered. tell you the truth if your nice to the techs and let them know its rooted they most likey won't care... atleast i wouldn't
Stop playing basketball with your phone! and congrats they helped ya in the pinch
Seriously guys almost all of us (techs at sprint) are rooted and rommed and could care less if you are, but there really are times when it can help us get things taken care of faster if you just say it and don't try to deny it. We still cover all the same stuff we would if you weren't rooted. Plus its cool to see some of the stuff people have running on their phones

Good luck it's a great job. Could pay better, but free cell phone bill, decent benefits package, plenty of opportunities to get free phones, being around technology all the time...I love it. Plus it's easy as cake, so long as you have customer service and/or inventory experience. (Being tech oriented, of course, is an assumption lol)

no!........
Is there physical damage to the phone other than the dot? Assuming there is not, and no water damage, they would probably repair/replace if you don't mention it was from a fall.

When I had the OG Epic I had a pixel go bad so there was one green dot continuously on my phone. It drove me nuts. It was only a week old. I took it to get exchanged and they told me that there had to be 5 dead pixels for it to be eligible for exchange. I had to do some light negotiations saying I bought 3 lines, insurance on all, accessories, etc all from the Sprint store and they finally swapped it for a new one.

Yeah it does. Although I rarely use the camera I would rather it be this way than the other. Opening the other way (like last years version) occludes the view of the camera. If it weren't for the stupid home button it wouldn't make a difference as far as being upside down.

There's a water damage sticker clearly present on the side of the battery area. I highly doubt they made it a hidden feature. It may do well to protect itself, but i still don't trust it in water until there's more evidence of it not being harmful.

I kinda like that they didn't mention it. People won't be idiots with their phones, but if something does go crashingly wrong there's protection in place. I really do wonder how many people have been downright stupid with their S5's because of commercials showing them being dropped in the ocean and whatnot.
My case keeps it waterproof, so I am good to go.... I think, lol!
I used mine in a rain storm the other day with no concern or issue. I've done that with all my phones, camera, tablets, etc though and never have had an issue in my life.

There is a video. Maybe LG put most of the waterproofing features in place but couldn't get the certification they wanted and scrapped it?
