Hello! I just installed CM 10 on my Xperia Arc and i've noticed that when i get a missed call or a new sms there's no notification on the call/sms icon on the bottom of the screen. Its this a common bug or I'm the only one with this problem? Its there a fix for this and if there is I would be grateful if someone helped me.
Another problem, every time I startup the phone I get a popup message "Gallery stopped working"

I'm not running cm but I think that cm's launcher is not supporting it.
Nova and Apex have it in Pro versions.
Don't know about gallery.

Dear friends,
My facebook notification on the lockscreen is not showing. I can confirm I do have notification such as reply or friend request when I check via facebook apps.
I am using an arc, 2.3.4 stock Rom. Rooted though via Zeus n also supercharger installed.
I do get other notification example new sms.
I have tried removing facebook account from my arc then re register. Have also tried removing sony from facebook privacy setting.
I really am running out of idea already. Any of you guys can help? Oh, by the way I did remove some apps from system/apps. Is there a particular file need
Last but not least, facebook inside xperia's other function like sharing n calendar sync seems working as usual.
Thanks for any help....
I don't think those notifications of Facebook are supposed to work on lock screen.. It only shows sms/calls...
Not sure though..

I remember there used to be a notification across the centre of the lockscreen, but haven't had it in ages, so can only assume that it was lost during updates. Didn't really notice till you mentioned it but your right it was there previously

Seriously, we need this sorted out before it cause real world havoc he he he.... Becoz all this while I have been using the lockscreen to quickly see if I got any facebook notification
Can it be facebook's latest version?
Scratch scratch scratch
you must have enabled FACEBOOK INSIDE XPERIA in settings under sony ericsson...
otherwise wont work.
anybody got black text on the notification bar? I got some black text, can't read it at all.. any help?
Which apps are you having the issue with? There could be a setting within the app to change it. Otherwise the offending apps are probably built on old api's and need to be updated.

I think so, but sometimes Apps do not use the default color ;-)
I have the same problem using other apps, just wait for an update (or contact the dev to tell him, he may not have ICS).
okay, thanks for the advice, i will try to email them..
but, is there anybody else have the same problem with the same application, which in this case Beejive?
Are you rooted? because I had something similar happen to me I had to do a wipe and it went away...
yeah.. i already rooted, even changing ROM.. but still, the problem persist..
I had the same problem yesterday when I received a couple of notifications from score mobile... All black, I couldn't see nothing I had no choice to click on them too see what team was playing.

Forgot to mention I'm running stock 4.01

i was using stock 4.0.1.. and i changed it to ARHD 2.1.5.. is it happening all the time or sometimes? because on my case, it happens all the time..
Weatherbug did it to me. But I switched to 1Weather, so no more unreadable weather notifications.
I flashed 2.3.9 directly from 2.3.2 and it boots up fine.
But once I get past the lock screen literally everything force closes,
"Unfortunately, MiuiHome has stopped"
I can't do anything and I don't know what to do.
I heard this update was super nice and smooth so I would really like for it to just work.
Any ideas?
Did you change your grid back to 4x4 before flashing?

After turning off all possible vibrating options by entering Settings->Sound , my Note 2 stills gives vibrating effect when i long press an icon or when i drag the green icon to answer a phone-call !!
Have i missed something ??
Are you using a custom launcher? I know that apex launcher has haptic feedback settings of its own

I turned off haptic feedback settings from my apex launcher settings but the problem still persists with Default TouchWiz Launcher !!!
Any solution for this guys ??
I'm also experiencing this using stock Touchwiz and all vibration settings disabled.
Any feasible solution to stop this unnecessary vibrating ?? Or is it a Android 4.1.2 bug ??
Hi!
I am running CM10.1 nightly and I noticed a bug with the keyboard.
In EVERY application the current activity gets closed if I hide the keyboard.
I switched from SwiftKey to the AOKP keybaord but the problems remains.
How to reproduce this using WhatsApp
- Open a chat
- Activate the text field and if the keyboad appeared hide it again.
- The chat closes
Every app I tried shows the same issue.
But it works within Chrome and the Android std. Browser!
Any ideas?
Thorsten
This is a known current issue with the nightlies.

And it's fixed in the lastest nightly.
