There is currently 6 games in the deal, however usually a week into the bundle they add an additional 4 games, free of charge if you've already bought the bundle They'll also give you steam keys.
Some of the games is making their Android debut; Superbrothers: Machinarium, Sword & Sworcery EP, Waking Mars, Splice, Crayon Physics Duluxe and possibly some others soon.
As an additional bonus, they're using the Nexus 4 as their "showroom device" xD
If helps the Child's Play charity and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, so you'll be doing a good deed too,.
5 Games have been added to the bundle, if you already purchased it you will get them for free. If you haven't bought it yet, make sure you beat the average to get all 11 games!
Thanks for the share.
Donated $6, got all the current games so far.
i would get those, but i got most of them already from previous Humble Bundles...
Yes but these are debuting on Android. So your other bundles wont have the Andorid copies.
Awesome just bought em. 6$ seemed fair for my current "budget"

No doubt. These games are so not surrounded by profit. Never knew games such as these existed. They barely use any battery and run great. Quite addicting to. Only tried the crayon game and eufloria. Will try the others later.

I noticed there was options for tablet and mobile. Does that mean only machinarium is the only game I can play on my nexus?

No don't be misguided, the "tablet" apps just sport higher textures and scaled up buttons. These games are brilliant and the steam keys alone are worth more than the average.

All the games should work on both phones and tablets.
Only issue I found so far is crayon physics won't save your progress I'd you close the app.

I've bought just about every humble bundle so far, and I've just bought another one. I bought this one pretty much just for machinarium on my N7. I've played it lots on my laptop, but I'm pretty pumped about it on the tablet.
I keep buying the bundles regardless of the duplication, it's nice to support the indie developers that are developing for linux. I think I may have bought Crayon Physics about 4 times now
There goes another 10$ and I didn't get a chance to play all the games from the previous bundles yet.

THIS is pissing me off. Humble Bungle. This is the primary game I'd play, the rest I'd tinker with a bit.
I've sent an email to [email protected]
Got a response back from the Humble Bundle folks, they're fixing Crayon Physics.
Hello there,
Thank you for purchasing the Humble Bundle. We’ve been able to reproduce this issue on Crayon Physics Deluxe and fix it, and we’ll released this fix in the next update. This update will release sometime in the next 24 hours. Thanks for your patience and for reporting this issue!

Nice piece, although I would consider the Madfinger games in the list, specifically Dead Trigger. Aside from having outstanding graphics and being free, if you have an OTG adapter and plug in a PS3 gamepad, it feels like a transformed game.
In my opinion, this game is the closest to offering a console-style experience so far with a gamepad, as the controls are incredibly tight. Try it with a controller if you are able!

Madfinger game are awesome and will make my follow up. Here's why I didn't add dead trigger. It is fun but pretty mindless game play and we despise games leveraged by in app purchases. The game has no story and the games here I selected for overall depth not necessarily game play alone. I'll add it as a players choice though in my follow up and thanks very much for the feedback

Those games do look awesome but I think dead trigger needs to be up there. Its the game I showcase my n7 with. Also, nothing beats a Bluetooth ps3 controller and a PlayStation emulator or any other emulator. I've been playing ff7 and ff tactics since I got my tablet.

I concur dead trigger is a great game but I compare it to rinse repeat of angry birds. Same stages reprised with no substance and in app purchases. Two no no's when I decided what my 5 favorite were.

Dead trigger gets old real fast, most of the weapons are a waste of time and so are the items and as you say, it's the same stages over and over.

Sadly, I don't like ANY of your choices of games.
You should re-title this to top 5 action/arcade games or something.
I prefer strategy/war games and my current fav is:
Great Big War Game, esp with the multiplayer capability.

You asked for an opinion and I gave one. It wasn't rude yet you replied with a implied insult.
Here is another opinion since you want something different.
James Holmes & Jared Loughner likely played games like that. Look where it got them and all of us.
You should read what action/arcade games are as a genre, the majority of his games are adventure/RPG..

The android market desperately needs an adventure / RPG genre. So I think he's right in that for market categories it'd fall under action.
I like glwg too although the latest update made it unplayable on the n7. I might try gbwg. For arcade, I do like spirit xhd.
Plus, in all honesty, I think there needs to be a rating system other than opinions.
Order and chaos, while a fun game, is very slow at the point I'm at and is a little choppy for 1.5ghz and 484 GPU on a 15+ Mbit connection.
It should probably be rated based on gameplay, replay ability, game performance / app design, graphics, etc.

I am looking for a game to play on Nexus 7.
A starcraft like strategy game with offline mode (no server connection), and also possibility of multiplayer over LAN or internet would be great.
Any ideas of such Android game ?
Thanks.

Okay I've looked into it, I might actually purchase this because it looks awesome. Love RPGs but I saw reviews from the play store to internet saying it runs great with no issues. I did see someone mentioned Two versions of the game - HD/SD. I'm assuming you bought the SD version.
But yes the nexus seems to play it fine, I'm sure it might run a bit slower compared to a tablet lol but I will also say it will depend on your ROM/Kernel choice too. I'm sure there won't be issues but you never know .
Anyway hoped that helped, I really probably buy this but by the time I'm ready to purchase my info probably won't be helpful lol.

Thank you. There is only one version of the game, just when you download it on a device with Tegra 3 (Nexus 7 ) it will give you the option for HD data that's about 3.2gb. I'm downloading it now, I've only played about an hour on my N7 but it is an awesome game, very funny. I really recommend you buy it. I'm using stock JB with root and trinity, i hope it runs well.

strange no free bee. we got free stuff on the original n7
Maybe that was because the original N7 was their first tablet, and they wanted to do anything, even a small thing, to promote uptake. Once they saw what a hit it was they realized they didn't need to bother with free things to promote purchases.

Not really much in the way of free content this time around. I remember the original one came with some limited subscriptions, a movie, and (luckily for me) the $25 Play Store credit. That said, don't mind the loss here at all, and no, it wasn't in the launch event.
The US Nexus 7 2013 version launched with two freebies: an episode from a BBC UK documentary show about our solar system and also Disney's short film called "La Luna".
Neither Nexus 7's launched with any free games that I am aware of.
