HI!
I was wondering... is there any app or option to get a HTC One X default keyboard layout on my Samsung Galaxy S. I Hate the Samsungs keyboard, but the HTC One X keyboard is so awesome.
You could try downloading a one x rom and navigating to the /system/app folder on your computer and taking it out of there, then place it in the same directory on your phone and reboot, then select the keyboard and see if that works

Attach the apk here?
Maybe it needs a special library file or framework related stuff to work. :/
Someone try it on the sense port.

HTC Keyboards require a crapton of stuff to work properly I'm afraid..you need at least a few libs and with each Sense version the integration with the framework deepens more and more.

It won't work that way, hox apps need some sort of flag enabled in order to run, not that easy to figure it out

If I understand it correctly, that's the launcher (app drawer) from Nexus One.
would like to see 5 icons across rather than four. But not sure what else it does lol

How have you had it working, i.e. in the sense that it looks and acts like a nexus one.

We have already found that you just pull the apk from a nexus1 rom and install it onto the desire.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6002164&postcount=80
Then you goto applications and remove htcsense from being default and force close it. when you next go to the home screen it asks which one you want to use (htcsense or launcer2)
EDIT: You can also install Gallery3d from the nexus this way

But if you just install launcher2.apk from N1 it's not functioning properly -- icons are small, etc.

Hey guys, I got the latest Android Market, it has a redesigned UI, and easier access to menus and such, here is the download link - http://cl.ly/2A420B3F0F451k161O2r
Give me a thanks if you like it!
wow that's crazy different. I think I like it haha.
This market is sooo cool!
wow. It took forever to load but thats so different. Reminds me of windows 7 phones.
EDIT: Added a picture for those who want to see it first.

Amazing! Thank you for sharing!, May i ask where you found this?
Much Nicer!
I never really had an issue with the market app even coming from apples app store , but this just feels cleaner!
It's nice. I pushed it to my phone and had it replace the Vending.apk file in /system/app for my rom. It worked well. I didn't get any errors on the movies bit but it may wait until after the movies part is done to tell you that it doesn't work on root. Unless of course the changed that policy on movie rentals...
P.S. - I reverted to the old market. Didn't like the new one much.
I am quite cheesed off by the new one. How do I revert?

Just go to mannage applications and click on market. From there it should display an option that says uninstall updates. Just click on that and you should be good to go

why do guys not like it? its nice, clean, works the same way but just adds more features. just curious.
It likes to not download apps I tell it to. i.e., click download "angry birds", says starting download forever.
Does the new market require WiFi connection for apps over a certain size? I can't download Adobe reader, which I've downloaded multiple times over 3g, on multiple ROMs, but can't get it to start over 3g. I'm on the newest MIUI build...
*edit- got it.... user error. Settings in the download app

I believe plenty of people have done it already. Its a simple framework image that needs changing. 100% possible.
It s only one image like that, so you won't miss it

I'm having a similar issue. Tries replacing images in both "drawable-sw600dp-xhdpi" and "drawable-xhdpi". I have replaced both "ic_lockscreen_handle_normal.png" and "ic_lockscreen_handle_pressed.png", but it just seems to cause endless bootloops of death. EBoD!
Please assist, as I would very much like to have a modified lockscreen.
Thank you in advance.
Keeping them the same size? they are quite large like 216X216(I think from memory)
A sample:
DarkHorse Revolution - NeXus Edition
How are you tryign to do it?
You dont need to the the ones in sw600dp-xhdpi folder, just darwable-xhdpi folder.

You could just get WidgetLocker, which in addition to allowing widgets on the lockscreen, also allows you to have alternate wallpapers, and modify the lock pictures and method (i.e. unlock like HTC Sense, Sense3, iPhone, as well as ICS).

THE FIX
add this on class
VideoCamera.java, method setCameraParameters():
mParameters.set("capture-mode", "normal");
mParameters.set("cache-first-frame", 0);
mParameters.set("cam-mode",1);
mParameters.set("video-size",mProfile.videoFrameWidth+"x"+mProfile.videoFrameHeight);

Is there some property we can set that modifies those values instead? Modifying source code to fix a bug that only occurs on one device isn't really good practice :/ Good job finding the fix though.

Still not terribly ideal, what happens when the file we're modifying gets changed by the Cyanogenmod team? That'd mean either A) we don't get updates or B) the build breaks entirely.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been hearing murmurs about Google dropping its Nexus brand name for its flagship Android devices in favor of the Pixel label, which it uses for its Chromebooks.
Below, you’ll find link for Pixel Launcher v7.1 and the wallpaper picker.
