If you had followed the OP's installation steps, then the only issue is the pin code.
This pin code is the one that you lock your SIM card. If you enable it, then you got boot loop. Try to disable it.

could be sim lock, you can ask your operator for your PUK to reset the sim card pin number.
Go to recovery mode
After flashing, you should turn off your phone. Go to recovery mode (volume up + home button + power button) and then select factory reset or wipe data and wipe cache partition. Then reboot. If it does not work. Maybe it's a sim lock.
yeah you need to wipe data and cache. It will delete the pin code

Yes it is normal, don't worry.
Not normal at ALL.
OP. Boot intoo recovery and select wipe cache and also dalvik cache.
First reboot after this will show the update message. It should not show on the following reboots.

Who said anything about "updating on following reboots". As i understood the op got app update message everytime he installed a mod. That is normal.

I know what you meant. It only happens the one that you refer to if you install an app on system partition. Not all mods should state system updating message.
Usually that is cached memory. So need a good emty

Install again with pristine.

The most surefire way of course is to reinstall using "Pristine" method.
However, try to do "Fix Permissions" first from Recovery.

You can just search the forum. Anyways here is the link.
Also, as pepoluan said, try and Fix Permissions first, if you want to keep your data.
Recovery -> Advanced Settings -> Fix Permissions
Also, you can try flashing Gapps again, in case you have the wrong file (goo.im/gapps)

So I just flashed beanstalk

So I just flashed to beanstalk and so far the only error I've encountered is that the chameleon launcher doesn't work. Is this fixable? Is it worth it? I've been using the nova launcher and so far its the one I'm liking the most. Any other opinions? And what settings does everyone use? Or better yet, what are the optimum settings? Thanks in advance guys

You should've posted this in bean Stalk thread you'll get the help you need.

sccrplyr214 does not have 10+ posts, thus can not post in that thread just yet.
I would've posted in the Q&A section not the General section.

I had no idea you didn't have functionality with that launcher. What exactly does it do? FC? Or nothing at all? I'll see what I can find out. PM me with details....
noob no shame!!!!
So this would be my first time flashing a new rom, saw the beanstalk and made me want to try something new. Followed instructions to the tee as per requested from BMP7777. Put rom and gapps on the internal storage. Using twrp wiped data, cache, and dalvik, on to flash the rom. Everything went smooth which is what twrp said; SUCCESFUL! Rebooted the phone and got a kernel crash. Now the phone is in Demigod crash handler. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Did I do something wrong? and yes I rooted and unlocked boot loader all before this* Would greatly appreciate it! THANKS**

You might need to wipe caches and data/ factory reset.
Or wipe caches, factory reset.
Or wipe all 4 items in Advanced part of TWRP. And reinstall your ROM. Sounds like you had a bad flash to start with.

Sorry bout that.
In TWRP, under the Wipe section, there is an Advanced part. Tick all 4, it does not wipe your SD.

I don't know how or if fastboot would help.
Its gotta be a bad download. Try downloading it again, or another ROM.
If you have fastboot and recovery, it should be working.
