The folder where the default wallpapers are. I been trying to change my lockscreen to something I've downloaded but it seems like selecting it from the regular gallery doesn't work.

Are you running a custom ROM? From gallery you should be able to set current picture as background. But on custom ROMs you can have a completely different picture for your lock screen than what a set as your home screen.
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk 2
Actually you can set them separately on stock based roms as well.
And putting your picture in another location probably won't fix the problem. Sounds like you're on a JB rom. Some of those had some issues with this. You may be able to set wallpaper by going through the settings menu. Or try pressing menu while on homescreen and select set wallpaper.

Stock based ROM is settings>display> choose which you want to change.

Thanks I guess it's just an issue with the JB ROM.

Here is the Andy the Android peeing on Apple but I added a sound file to go along with it... I set it up to work AOKP Hercules Milestone 6 4.0.4 ICS. If you have something different you may need to rename the audio to something else.
For this ROM, copy both the bootanimation.zip and boot_audio.mp3 into the "system/media" folder and simply reboot your phone...
I am not responsible for anything that should happen to your phone... But it should work just fine...
bootanimation: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/85894836/bootanimation.zip
audio: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/85894836/boot_audio.mp3
Video of my phone booting up with sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms3z82DDQBU
Hey thanks a lot for this. I have AOKP Milestone 6 as well and I can't seem to find the "system/media" folder that's required to place the animation and audio in. Is there a specific I should search for to replace the animation with?
Where is DL link!?

how do you download the audio?
Edit: nvm

You have to have root explorer or any file manager. In the main screen, hit the "UP" button. It's usually the up arrow icon. Press it twice and there should be folders. Scroll down til you see 'System'. Not 'sys'. Don't forget to turn the folder into a R/W file from the R/O it's already set by default.
EDIT: If you have root explorer, it should start you off on the page where you could just scroll down to 'System' and find the 'Media' file in there.

Why don't you just download a jelly bean rom and pull the ring tones and notifications from there?

I can get the ringtones NP however I'm looking for them to be part of my system files. I hate how they show up in the music apps.

you can move them to the system/ringtones folder using root explorer or similar file manager, you just need to make the folder r/w...

Right now im useing Cleanrom and I do like it do like it so far. Something small but big to me is I want the black email theme not the white... is there anything I can do?? And is there a list of ALL roms to date for the ATT galaxy note 2.

Don't know if you're using gmail or just email but this link shows how to change email to black
If Gmail, there are some nice Inverted 4.2.1 gmail apks out there... I've used Rujelus22 and DarkHorse Inverted gapps and themed apps... work perfect on Note2. Google search "Rujelus22 inverted gmail" or DarkHorse gmail 4.2.1.... then extract the gmail.apk, fix permissions, push to /system/app folder. Be sure to rename old apks in /data/app and or in /system/app folders prior to push (so you can revert bsck if you want to)

Using Root Explorer or something simlar navigate to:
System/Csc/features.xml
Open the file to edit. Scroll near the bottom to the EMAIL section and change the TRUE to FALSE
That should give you the overview. Backup the features xml to be safe.

Does anyone know where I can find the Note 2 TouchWiz Stock Folder Icon? The one that is like a lying down ring folder? I am rooted with Root Explorer and have been looking through all the folders but I can't seem to figure out where it is. I've also googled it and can't find any reference to it. I know if worse comes to worse I could always try to replicate it in Photoshop, but am hoping someone already knows where I can grab it off the stock ROM. TIA
You mean system/app?

Is there a way to change the wall paper on the lock screen? I like to use the normal lockscreen but when I try and change it to a picture that I have it only will allow me to change it to the default pictures the phone comes with. Please help, I can't figure it out. It gets me to where I can select my own picture but it won't change when I check the lock screen.
