Here is the Andy the Android peeing on Apple but I added a sound file to go along with it... I set it up to work AOKP Hercules Milestone 6 4.0.4 ICS. If you have something different you may need to rename the audio to something else.
For this ROM, copy both the bootanimation.zip and boot_audio.mp3 into the "system/media" folder and simply reboot your phone...
I am not responsible for anything that should happen to your phone... But it should work just fine...
bootanimation: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/85894836/bootanimation.zip
audio: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/85894836/boot_audio.mp3
Video of my phone booting up with sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ms3z82DDQBU
Hey thanks a lot for this. I have AOKP Milestone 6 as well and I can't seem to find the "system/media" folder that's required to place the animation and audio in. Is there a specific I should search for to replace the animation with?
Where is DL link!?

Edit: nvm

You have to have root explorer or any file manager. In the main screen, hit the "UP" button. It's usually the up arrow icon. Press it twice and there should be folders. Scroll down til you see 'System'. Not 'sys'. Don't forget to turn the folder into a R/W file from the R/O it's already set by default.
EDIT: If you have root explorer, it should start you off on the page where you could just scroll down to 'System' and find the 'Media' file in there.

Is you phone rooted and do you have a Root Explorer/File Manager?
Can you do this on a stock ICS rooted ROM?
Can you remove carrier splash screens via this method? Asking from rooted stock ICS. Trying to get rid of that ugly Telus splash screen.
Can't get the sound on dark side v8
Do u know how to rename zip and where to put file??

I believe they are "built in" to an apk in the system folder. I could be wrong...
I have done a search but the only one I found would not work, can anybody point me in the right direction.
Have you tried zedge?

Why don't you just download a jelly bean rom and pull the ring tones and notifications from there?

I can get the ringtones NP however I'm looking for them to be part of my system files. I hate how they show up in the music apps.

you can move them to the system/ringtones folder using root explorer or similar file manager, you just need to make the folder r/w...

How would I go about changing this craaaazy wallpaper in the settings from this theme? Is there something I can modify or a system file I can change? It's the Toxic theme for Darkside TW ROM. I love everything about it except this. Thanks for the help guys!

Well, this isn't home screen related. It's in the system somewhere. It's like the system wallpaper for settings and stuff. It's just kinda always there on certain system pages. Like when you open an app and it's loading up. This wallpaper is here. The stock is below.

Not just settings. That was just the easiest way to get a screen shot. It's hard to explain. It's like the "default", background for the system. Whether your in settings or transitioning between apps or whatever. It's there.

Hey thanks for helping me out. I am sure you have alot on your plate other than this. lol. If I can just ask one follow up question or two. When you say "Push to the phone" Should I modify the files in the .zip and then flash that to the phone? And also when you say "swap it out with a .png image of the same size" Is that just as simple as converting the file by changing the extension? or do I need an actual file converter? And then when you say the same size are you reffering to the literal kb or mb size? or the resolution? I hope I am asking these questions clear and concise so there easy to answer. Thanks again. this is an awesome theme. Just a creepy background. lol. The guy pops up every time I do something lol. It's like WTF? lol

Push means use adb.
Same size as in 92x92 or whatever the size of the image was. And rename it to .png

I just had an "ah ha" moment. In order to edit the .apk I would need to hook up to a pc to use a program such as ADB. Got it. I was able to convert another image to a .png image. I have it figured out. I just think it's bit more than I want to do. I am always around my phone but seldom in front of a PC where I could have the necessary tools to modify it, as apparently there isn't an app I can use to edit the framework-res.apk on my phone. Unless I am missing something. I will deal with the creepy guy for now lol.
I see on pac man rom the weather theme is actually a picture and the weather on liquidsmooth and cm10 is a drawing...it's there anyway to change that since they are both asop?I don't want a third party lockscreen..
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
You could get a apk manager and extract both framework-res.apk's (or systemui, I forget) and swap the two weather images. Then zip them up again. If you need more info just post again.

I've actually changed framework by pushing files into the apk from winrar...like top bar icons...then overwriting the file on my phone with root explorer and reboot...would that work with this? And what files do I need to change....?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
I just opened the pac framework and there are 2 weather files....weather_00-47.png
And weather_aokp_00-47.png
The 1st one looks like the drawing and the 2nd one looks like the one I want...
So I should rename the 2nd ones to the names of the 1st ones and then push them into the framework and then send the file to my phone right?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
ok it worked!!!!! for all those who want the aokp lockscreen weather images on liquidsmooth here is the edited framework
THIS IS FOR LIQUIDSMOOTH RC9 ONLY
i dont know what it would do to the others
make a backup just in case

And is there a list of ALL roms to date for the ATT galaxy note 2.

Don't know if you're using gmail or just email but this link shows how to change email to black
If Gmail, there are some nice Inverted 4.2.1 gmail apks out there... I've used Rujelus22 and DarkHorse Inverted gapps and themed apps... work perfect on Note2. Google search "Rujelus22 inverted gmail" or DarkHorse gmail 4.2.1.... then extract the gmail.apk, fix permissions, push to /system/app folder. Be sure to rename old apks in /data/app and or in /system/app folders prior to push (so you can revert bsck if you want to)
