Flash stock images in fast boot. You can't mount USB storage on this phone anyways.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
happen to me too....
I flashed an Pauls update instead of core and messed my phone up.
flash stock image then use ADB and push the rom to the sd/update.zip - then flash.
That should fix it.
You're phone is not bricked. Reflash the factory images using fastboot. http://groups.google.com/group/andr...hread/2dde45a058a737b9/43c3a418144fc6c5?pli=1

Ok now thats over with follow *THIS* guide to get fastboot drivers set up on your pc. Some users spend hours trying to figure it out (myself included the first time) and that guide is detailed. Install the pdanet program on your comp to get the needed drivers then boot your phone into fastboot mode and connect to your pc via usb cable. If it doesnt install the automatically then you can do it manually via the Device Manager.
Once the drivers are installed open up a command prompt and goto the folder you put the fastboot.exe file in. Type fastboot devices and it should return a number which means your phone is recognised.
Next goto *THIS* thread and follow the instructions to fastboot the Stock images back to your device and restore your phone.
Once everything is back and working READ every instruction thoroughly before doing anything in future Luckily this phone is next to impossible to brick

Did you install the pdanet drivers to your pc? Did you update the drivers in the Device Manager? Please list your exact procedure you followed and where you are getting stuck.

Why are you trying to boot up the phone if you know it doesnt boot?
You need to do everything through the fastboot screen. Hold Volume Up and Volume Down buttons while pressing the power button until the big green Android icon appears and it will say fastboot on the screen.
Have your Device Manager open (from settings on your pc) so that you can dee the item pop up in the list that you need to update the driver for.
PdaNet drivers are the best ones that work for fastboot.
Mark.
when i go into fastboot mode.. then go to device manager the only thing i can see with a explanation mark is android 1.0.....

Yes thats the item you need to update the driver for.
Make sure you have installed the samsung drivers (and maybe pdanet drivers if you want to be safe) on your pc first. Then double click on the Android 1.0 item and then select Driver, Update Driver. Click Browse My Computer and then Let me pick from a list.
It should give you a few options. If you see it then select Android Adb Device but if not try one odf the samsung adb interface drivers.
Mark.
mskip i LOVE YOU!!!
starting to get somewhere got the drivers installed...
ok i typed this command in cmd where the stock img is
fastboot-windows flash all flash-all.sh
i get this
sending 'all'<0 KB>....OKAY
writing 'all'.....FAILED <remote : Unkown Partition>
Any ideas?
try just flashing the image zip.

Hi. I recently rooted my phone Xperia S (LT26i) and unlocked its bootloader. I had installed CWM and TWRP recovery in the phone and I have ADB and Fastboot(Android SDK) in my computer. I had earlier flashed CWM but it wasn't working so I flashed TWRP. I had downloaded a custom ROM and Gapps in the PC and I extracted the zip files and copied them into the phone (this was a mistake). I went into TWRP and did factory reset, erased cache and wiped dalvik cache unknowingly:silly: Now I can't flash ROM or Gapps and I cannot boot normally. Earlier, ADB used to recognize the device and now it doesn't. When I turn on the phone, the Sony logo appears and pink light glows. But it doesn't go beyond that. It repeatedly restarts the phone till the splash screen. Now I can't boot the phone normally Please help, guys.
P.S. I saw a post suggesting to enter a code in the Terminal module of TWRP but it's not working.

I'v got almost similar problem right now, but beyond that I'v flashed custom kernel to mine.
I hope someone will post here soon
edit: the kernel name is Open SEMC
but I think I can get to fast boot, so changing kernel should not be problem. But how to get some ROM to the phone, when I can't connect it anyhow?

If You both are able to boot into recovery(twrp), I recommend You boot into twrp, connect the phone to pc. Then Let the drivers install. After it, start the adb, use this command to command to check if Your device is connected:
Code:
adb devices
Copy the ROM zip to the folder of adb.
Then push the file to sdcard using:
Code:
adb push finlename.zip /sdcard
where filename.zip is Your ROM.

Hi there,
First I have installed CWM with the method I had to use the codes "adb reboot bootloader"... and so on and It worked perfectly.
I wanted to install the Envi ROM and on the tutorial there was said I first should install the Base ROM and then after restarting I should install the Envi ROM. After installing the Base ROM my CWM was gone. Now I can't install it anymore. I tried the following install methods:
-The one I've mentioned already <- Doesnt work because my PC says it does not know the command abd
-The install.bat method <- Does not work because my phone does not get recognized, despite I have all the drivers installed.
-The RecoverX method <- Does not work because my phone does not get recognized, despite I have all the drivers installed.
-The RecoverX app <- The says that installing CWM worked normally, but still I have no CWM
-The install.bat method directly on my phone <- SManager does not run the .bat even I ran it with the proper rights and adjustments

Did You try flashing a kernel with pre installed recovery? You can flash it using fastboot directly or flashtool.
Also, the command is adb, not "abd". Plus if windows doesn't recognize adb command, then the adb.exe is not in the folder from where You are running the command prompt from.

You can install the DoomKernel, it has pre installed recovery. You can flash it via flashtool fastboot. But do note, You have to be on stock ROM.
adb.exe is usually in the flashing files.

I started Ubuntu (Live CD) installed adb und fastboot and tried it there... same result?
Is something wrong is my phone?
I don't think the drivers have been installed properly. Install fastboot and flash mode drivers from flashtool, it has drivers in it's folder. Else if even that doesn't work, install "Sony Update Service", and it will install required drivers.
Edit: I'm giving You instructions for Windows, are You using Ubuntu or was that just a trial?

I tried Ubuntu because somebody said me that Ubuntu will detect all the drivers automaticly and there would be no detection problem...

Why did it not work on my phone with smanager?

I suppose your phone is Xperia S.
If you have unlocked the boot loader , then Sony Official Softwares wont work. If your boot loader is still locked and this error is occurring then its mistake from your side.
I guess by Base ROM you meant official ROM. So if you were on official ROM, did you check for Root Privileges, Busy Box is installed etc ??
Im using Xperia Ion so the steps might be different but results all are same.
Try different methods, it will work.

By Base Rom I mean the following; I wanted to use the Envi Rom and for this Rom a Base Rom should be installed first.
I have unlocked Bootloader. Busybox is installed and Root Priviliges are given. Before installing the Base ROM I used the APP "Smanager" and I ran the install.sh with the app and then the CWM was there. But now that doesnt work anymore and DeliverX does also not work.
And all methods which require connection to PC won't work because those methods say my device is not detected or connected. I installed CWM on my phone and on other phones several times and never I had thode problems...

Do one thing, check Your Device Manager. Disconnect Your phone, Open Device Manager, then connect Your phone again. See if the Device Manager gets refreshed. My phone is getting showed under "Tragbare Geräte" which means portable devices. When I right click on it says:

-Looking for changed hardware
-Properties
If I click on Update drivers the message shows, that the best driver is already installed.

With other ROMS I was able to install a CWM from my phone (with the deliverx app or a script manager app), but for this rom this doesnt work anymore.
So is there a way to install an other ROM without CWM (and when I have this ROM I would try if installing CWM directly with an app works again)?

I will Try Goo and TWRPG Manager. Rom Manager does not work with Xperia S I already tried it.
EDIT:
1. Goo Manager does not work. I installed the Open Recovery.img and then I tried to install the ROM (eXistenZ V2 Black) but it only restarts my phone <- Does not work
2. TWRPG Manager does not even the TWRPG Recovery.
3. Previously I used this App to install CWM and it worked. Now I used the App and the App said installed CWM worked but There is no CWM on my phone (or it can't get started neither manually by pressing up nor automatically with an App which reboots me into CWM). <-Does no work.
4. On other time I used this App to run the cwm-install.ch on my phone. It worked and CWM was on my phone. Now the script does not run and therefore CWM also cannot be installed with this method. <- Does not work.
5. After all that, today I tried to install an official Rom with Sony PC Companion (and then starting from 0 with an other ROM, to try all the other stuff again) but It says I cannot install the official ROM Update. because, I do not have the official ROM installed, <- Does not work
I dont know what to do anymore.
So installed doomkernel yesterday along with a custom rom, now the rom causes a bootloop(LeOpArDx RoM V5.0 Small Package.zip). I tried installing zip from sideload for another rom but the device doesnt show up in the cmd when writing adb devices. I installed usb drivers with sdk but it still doenst work. Yes, fastboot is usable. However, when I do the usual vbmota whatever disable thing and twrp boot, it simply doesn't boot into TWRP at all. I can go into the Pixel Experience recovery by the usual recovery keys, but I don't think I can do much of anything with that.
