Any kernel that can run for cdma sense as you said you want to run a stock deodexed sense rom.
Or the stock kernel : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31902114&postcount=8

Flashing a stock ROM with a RUU will revert everything to initial state with everything should work normal; if there is no hardware defect as the RUU will correct all the software errors.

Not really because if he has a rom with a different kernel other than stock he will be stuck with that kernel image if he doesn't flash/odin stock kernel first.

Flashed a kernel that doesn't like my phone and won't let me activate wifi. Anyone have the stock kernel for me to flash? s-off on 2.3.3 stock ROM.

You should probably flash a stock ruu or a ROM that has the stock kernel built into it like sabotage stock .

What was the kernel that you flashed?
Just wipe delvik cache and reflash the rom u are using if it came with the stock kernel and you will have it back without having to redo everything

Hi i was on ICS with agat safe recovery and don't like the battery life so i went back to blazer 4.1 GB rom.But now after installing blazer rom i got Rouge recovery. So can i replace Rouge recovery with agat safe recovery on GB EL29? Please advise me .i heard that with agat safe recovery i can flash back and forth from GB-ICS and ICS-GB.
No you can't. Your kernel needs to match your os. Gingerbread kernel on gingerbread and ics kernel on ics.

No problem and you can still accomplish what you want. Just make sure any ics Rom you flash includes his kernel or flash it right after the Rom and do the same for GB, making sure it has GB kernel or flashing one right after.

Additionally there is no need for a "safe" gb kernel as they are all safe, they do not contain the code that triggers the emmc bug

I am going to use Odin to flash back to stock on my wife's phone as Skype doesn't work(static on other end) on any newer rom I have tried (flashed about ten last night.. Cm/AOKP./etc).
Do I need to find a stock kernel or will everything go back to stock if I flash a stock rom and do a factory reset?
Thanks,

You don't need to flash kernel after flashing stock ROM with Odin.
Thanks so much.

The kernel comes with any rom you download. If you want a different kernel, you flash the kernel of choice after you flash the rom.

I am currently on aopk right now and I am planning on flashing something else. The question is.. Do I have to put my phone back to stock to flash a new rom? What's the easiest way to flash a new rom while currently running a custom Rom?

Compete a full wipe and install the same way you did your current custom ROM. No need to return to stock.

Unless your going from an AOSP or AOKP or CM10 rom to a stock based rom such as Ultimatum that are on different versions of JB (4.2 to 4.1.1). You would most likely soft brick if you did not go back to stock first.
Other than that it is not necessary.

Actually it won't, you just have to do a factory reset to wipe data, then flash away. No need to flash back to stock.
