What browser does everyone use?
I just got dolphin with the "jetpack" add on works damn good so far.
I use Chrome, Firefox Aurora and Orweb (for banking).
Thinking of getting Dolphin.

quick ics is my favorite because of the quick controls and how customizable they are. can't imagine not using quick controls for surfing the web once you get used to them.
Naked browser and firefox are my goto browsers. Used to use maxthon and dolphin.. but dont trust them...

I was using Dolphin prior to getting the GN2, now rocking Chrome
I use chrome for most stuff and the stock browser for flash.

I use the stock browser since some of the internet doesn't feel like switching from Flash videos, but I do like using Chrome from time to time.
+1 for chrome
Chome, because it syncs my pages and bookmarks. I like using Chrome-to-Phone too.
Your not the only odd one bro because I rather use the stock too. (My opinion) It makes know sense to use another browser when the stock does it all. As long as I can get flash with the stock I'm Good.
Swyped by Me & My GN2
I like Chrome
Chrome, use it almost exclusively on my other devices because of how nicely everything syncs
I'd say Chrome is my favorite Android web browser so far, but the Firefox Beta browser is quickly becoming more of a daily driver. I like how Firefox Beta handles flash heavy pages and video content.
for general web browsing - opera
for more desktop experience - firefox or aurora
for pron/videos - aurora - supports flash and has on of the the best html5 video support, especially if you choose iPad UA. chrome is #2 for this.
While I like chrome, I always go back to dolphin because of the plugins (especially Lastpass).

Been using the AOSP browser since I'm rooted. I enjoy it for the Flash support.

I was looking to see what Browser most of you are using and think is the best for the Epic running 2.2.1. I have tried stock, dolphin, opera, and xscope.
I personally liked Xscope the best. I liked the main page where i can have 20 screenshots of my favorite webpages. I felt this was easy to use.
I have found it does not always do the best job on webpages that I use to watch sports (atdhe etc) Which is one of the main things I am looking for.
Give SjyFire a shot, I personally use this one and really like it
i like dolphin hd. thats my daily driver.
miren browser is real good tho too
If you like xscope then try miren. I use both and like them both for different features.

Question? Is there a stock browser that has desktop mode or do guys have a recomendation on a browser that does this.
Sky fire used to be good. Waaay to bloated now. I'm using dolphin mini and love its speed and features. Ben meaning to try dolphin hd, but haven't had the need for any more features yet.

Definitely Dolphin HD
Dolphin has been the most stable for my needs (watching youtube, siwtching tabs)...Opera seems to be the quickest, but it lacks Flash (atleast for me, it did). So it was a no go. I tried Miren and SkyFire and they ran fine, but I liked Dolphin's tab handler more, so Dolphin is my personal favorite. (You can also get a blue theme on it, looks sexy!)
skyfire and xscope are garbage from what I gathered in my tests yesterday.
I used opera on 2.1 but now on 2.2 I am using Dolphin HD with the red theme.
I only have two things against dolphin, it makes you use mobile google when you search in the url bar or with the search button, and theres a small bit of lag.
Im going to try miren.
So I'm tired of using like 3 different browsers for different applications. I use Firefox because its what I use on my desktop and I like the look and feel. I use chrome for the simplicity and speed sometimes, going to try switching to chrome on my desktop, I liked the bookmark sync Firefox has I think chrome has it too. But not everything works on chrome... I have to use stock browser for things like checking my sub trust account. And then there's Opera browser I like because I can make everything in desktop mode. What browser(s) do you guys use and is there just one I might be able to use instead of all 3?

You can request a desktop version of almost any site with the stock ics browser by just hitting the menu button and checking that option.
I use Opera Mini for everything.
The Chrome browser doesn't have flash?? Is it going to get it?
I'm currently using the stock ICS browser in CM9 and it gets the job done. Previously I used Dolphin Browser HD.
Im using stock browser too its really fast and can do java/flash within less then a second even on bad days!

The AOSP browser works the best for me.
I think it is up to the user I used to use dolphin hd with the gb roms. But I have always been a fan of chrome so when ICS came out I switched to that and have no complaints I keep the stock browser installed just in case there is something that chrome cant handle chrome still is in beta I think. And the stock ICS browser is not that bad at all.

Unfortunately Adobe dropped support for mobile, so only the stock browser can do flash. I remember when they announced the chrome app it said something about not supporting flash. HTML5 video works great though!

I have tried them all as well. I like Boat Browser. No flaky UI issues like dolphin, fully functional layout kinda Mozilla like. flash works great with it.
It is also very customizable. Imports bookmarks and is very fast. My $0.02 worth..
I like Maxthon. Give that one a shot. It has tabs and a nice fullscreen mode.
The only issue I don't like is the tooltips that pop up, and so far there is no setting to turn them off. They have told me they are working on that though.

i am gonna have to say chrome for this one...... i dunno why but for what i need it for it works just fine. The only thing that i have found that bugs me is that the 2 finger zoom thing that is in the "browser" is not supported here. Yeah, yeah i know its dumb but ya know what i use it from time to time when pinch2zoom is not as easy to use, for example when my 2 year old baby wants to sit on my lap doesnt want to move because he "wants me". ya know stuff like that.....just sayn...
What browse do you use? I use Chrome at the moment on freesg3 jb, but it seems to be a pretty heavy app. Looking for something that is lighter but just as functional. Dolphin seems to be even heavier than chrome...

Dolphin is great but I get way less screen time per charge if I spend time on it compared to other things. Would also like to know if any browsers exist that wouldn't use as much power, not necessarily faster.

I was using Chrome for awhile, but it was just so unruly on my EVO 3d and lacks flash. I mainly use opera and dolphin. As mentioned, dolphin does seem heavy. I'm still looking for that perfect browser.
I vaguely remember using maxthon on my old tablet. I'm actually going to download it right now.
definitely Dolphin
On cm10 I use the stock Android browser. I used to use Chrome but it feels much slower now.
Been playing around with Ninesky. Interface is a bit clunky but integrated flash is great. Otherwise I like Dolphin.

Hi, I've been using Firefox since I got my Ion back in June 2012, but lately I feel it has gotten a lot slower and it went from crashing the home screen every once in a while to every time I use the browser. By crashing the home screen I mean forcing all the icons and widgets to reload once I exit the browser.
So I'm curious as to what browsers are you guys using now.
The stock browser is very good, fast and has some options
I use it with wifi networks. For 3G I use opera mini

Chrome is good because of connectivity with pc and syncing but it's kinda slow compared to dolphin or stock. And also chrome doesn't support fullscreen which is a negative for me.
Mostly I use dolphin and its really good and now there is a plugin for connectivity with chrome and syncing tabs between pc and phone. Whenever I am on 3g I use opera mini, it is really good with data usage and pages open faster because they are compressed.

Firefox, for the sync function (I use it on my desktop and laptop aswell).
Boatbrowser used to be my favorite, but that one had to go since it was too buggy (was getting 50% loading stop bug all the time).
AOSP would probably be my second choise...
Tried Chrome, Dolphin, Next Browser and Opera and never liked any of them.
