Hello everyone. A little question: what tool do i have to use, or what steps, to have in a rom for ex. in 3.01 all applications that i want, and each time I install that ROM to install too to the card all that app and games? To not install myself after update, all applications, and games.
I'm thinking of upgrading my HTC S730 (Wings) with Alcalines WM 6.1 ROM. But I was wondering if applications installed on the memory card will still work after a ROM upgrade. I'm pretty sure that some applications will run with the default settings because the windows registry has been cleared, but do I have to reinstall them from CAB?

If the apps are installed to the memory card fully (IE have no dependencies stored in the main memory) you should be fine. You could use a registry editor to backup your settings and restore them after the flash...

it depends really... what kind of apps are you looking for exactly?
Even though it is limited at the moment, have you tried going to Windows Marketplace apps store? some free apps there...
HDtweak is a must - Lets you fine tune many settings on the device. To install, just copy the cab file over to your phone when connected to your PC and run them like an .exe file from the file manager. Some are exe files. These will run on your PC and install onto your phone when connected by Activesync.

so i have Wm 6.5 and want to have android to! i have the android kit and want to install it without uninstalling my WM.. please help me!

thanks.. the point is that i have done it.. i have installed the android with sd method and it still not runing with the dualboot on start up.. don't know what to do.. i don't want to lose my WM for the android. please help me.
I am not sure if I understand your question, but AFAIK you can't run WM and Android 'at the same time', you can Keep your WM on NAND and install Android on your SD, thus you don't wipe WM, then you use a program called HaRET to run Android (this unloads WM from Memory and boots Android), once you have finished with Android you can switch back to WM by just rebooting, bang, you are back to WM, nothing lost.
I don't think there is enough room to install 2 Rom's on the System Memory, thus you can't 'dual boot' (as you would on your computer) so its slightly different.
Does that make it any clearer?
