How can I get rid of the AOKP Statistics from the notification bar. No matter how I set it, continues to show up.
Other than that - great ROM.

Sorry but this doesnot belong in the development section. Please ask this in the Q&A section. Could a Moderator please move this?
Sorry, I thought I was in the ROM specific forum

If you see a misplaced or questionable post, always use the "Report Post" function to bring it to the attention of the moderators. On your web browser, it's the triangle icon with the exclamation mark inside. Simply putting "Could a moderator move this" inside a post often fails to get noticed and there's a good chance it will be missed. The RP system guarantees one of the moderators will see the report. Thanks.

So I just installed the hercules rom running jelly bean on sg2. I have been getting alot of complaints that my voice sounds distorted when talking to other. I had no problems on my previous rom, and Have re-done this rom many times and it doesnt seem to go away. Anyone have any idea what is causing this?
Go to your phone app. Menu button. Settings. Enable the noise suppression. You're good to go

Someone should make a giant bold sticky in the QA section or maybe a banner on every page in our forum.. However I still think people would overlook it.

Not sure if this happened with a recent auto update, but Google Navigation on my Galaxy Nexus no longer shows the 3D "Garmin" view when driving. Just a birds eye map like Google Maps Directions.
Anyone else having this issue or know a fix?
Thanks!

Just checked mine. Before I had GPS lock, it was as you described, but after GPS locked, it was the normal 3d view.
Yes it's as if I have no lock, but GPS is on. Any way I can see if I have a lock or not?

Press the "compass" in the upper left. Pressing the compass switches the map from "3D mode" to "true north" mode.
Fixed! Thanks Deez!

My gps wont even say the street names anymore. just turn right turn left. SMH
So I switched from Tapatalk to the xda app because Tapatalk has problems running when my signal drops and doesn't like my wifi at work, but I have 2 small issues with xda over Tapatalk.
First I set my default to open to first post in a thread, but every time I open the app it reverts back to opening the last post. It's extremely annoying to have to scroll to the top and hit the page arrow of every thread. If I remember correctly Tapatalk would remember where I left off in any particular thread and go back to that point. Has anyone else (who uses xda) noticed this and/or fixed it?
Secondly the screenies in xda open up to a much smaller size forcing you to pinch zoom, which leaves the pic unreadable. I don't recall having this problem with Tapatalk as I remember it would open screenies in a larger pic.
Two minor issues that i would love to see a fix but not enough to make me go back to Tapatalk which wouldn't load most of the time.

Its always a guessing game what page you will be on when you first open a thread. Only thing I can tell you is there's arrows on the bottom of the page too.
As far as screenshots....it has to do (just a guess here) with how they are uploaded. It is irritating at times and the only thing I can tell you is to hit settings and open in web mode for those hard to see screenies.
Good luck.

When you go into developer options and change the animation scales, and change it to something less than 1x, does it use up more battery?
Also, I changed my scale to "off". What do you guys have it set to?

If anything, having less animation frames should save battery life, but in reality it does not. I haven't even activated the developer's options.
