HTC One X suffers from limited battery performance, it just drains out too quickly.
I was wondering whether the 2100mAh battery from the One X+ fits the original One X. Does anyone knows?
There are several threads with that question. No one knows for sure, no x+ to test.

Does anyone know if the HTC Thunderbolt battery will work in the Desire HD once it's released ?
I was wondering this because the Thunderbolt has a 1400mAh battery compared to the desire hd's 1230 mAh one.
Both phones are nearly identical , so i was thinking it would work but i could be wrong
would like to know too
Interesting, someone reply with info!
any update ???
bump. that battery would be sweet
No, the design is different on the back unfortunately. The entire back of the phone comes off on the Thunderbolt.
That is true that the back is different but that doesnt mean that the battery doesnt fit in the DHD, i heard that the thunderbolt battery fits into the mytouch4g and the mytouch4g is just another version of the DHD. Can someone with a thunderbolt or a friend with a thunderbolt confirm that it doesnt fit in the DHD cuz the extended battery from sedio for the thunderbolt (1600 mah) would be great in the DHD

Why wouldn't sedio just release a DHD battery? :/

because DHD is not the "new & hot" item anymore and the battery drain is worse on the thunderbolt due to LTE

I dont know about thunderbolt but if you say mytouch 4g battery is same like thunderbolt, I can give the answer.
NO.
Mytouch 4g battery is not identical with desire hd. that's all
Even the HTC HD7 & Desire HD also looks the same, battery capacity is same (1230mAH) but it's NOT identical too. the connector is at the wrong side.
unless u say Inspire 4g then it's the same !!
Hmm. I would have thought that there would still be a market for an DHD battery. Weird.

The battery for Desire HD and Z might, but they have lower capacity then the battery for Desire. The battery for Desire S and Sensation will not fit as the connector is at the top of the battery instead of the side.

Thank you for your answer. Yes, they have lower capacity but it is possible to buy Anker battery for Desire HD which has 1600 mAh and should be of good quality. And after all, it is pretty cheap...
Since rooting my Desire and using a variety of roms the battery life has become better.
Definetly battery life is better on custom Gingerbread ROMs. But why not to make it even better with battery of higher capacity. Many times it happend I needed mobile internet on my Desire and its battery level was pretty low. Simply you have to think more about battery level so every additional drop of battery life is very useful.
yes, after root the desire the battery life is better as before
Hey guys, what type of battery is in our device? Someone say Li-ion, somewhere is written Li-pol.. in the phone there is no info. So, what is correct?
Li-pol

Lithium-Polymer is a type of Lithium-Ion battery. There is a Lithium-Polymer battery inside the One X even though the box and test menu says otherwise. It has to be a Lithium-Polymer battery anyway to fit in the One X and HTC have confirmed it as well.

But I am from Europe - the Czech republic.. is possible that our HTC has another battery type?
Btw, I had HTC Evo 3D before One X.. so I guess Evo 3D was Li-ion.. what will be difference between Evo 3D Li-ion battery and One X Li-pol battery?

It had a Lithium-Polymer battery. Pretty much all modern cell phones use a Lithium-Polymer battery pack.
Hi i got a 2600 mAh power bank to my HTC One X and i wonder if it is dangerous for my phone. I read once that if i am not using the original charger the phone battery can expload or get overheated? Is that true or does it depends on what kind of charger you are using ?
unless you are the luckiest person in the world, it is very unlikely that you will see an explosion from using your cellphone everyday.
