Hey guys, I have install the NoData program my phone doesn't accidently start browsing the net and rack up charges. But when I turned off MediaNet and ISP Gprs I am unable to send Multimedia Messages. Is there any work around where I can keep sending Messages but not allow me to browse online?
Thanks!!
Short Answer
MMS requires a data connection in order for the message to be sent so if you turn off data you turn off your ability to send and receive MMS messages.

Anyone know of a good free or otherwise faxing app for the Epic 4G Touch
I want to send and receive faxes via my phone and be able to fax from photo gallery as well

Hi,
Our company recently moved to a new cloud based exchange environment. After setting up my Nexus (4.1.2 - latest BlackBean) towards the new Active Sync server Exchange sent me an automated mail saying I now could send and receive text messages in Outlook.
And, without doing anything my SMS's starting popping into my inbox as they arrieved on my phone. Sweet.
Problem is the other way. By pressing ctrl+shift+T I can write SMS in Outlook, send them and they end up in the sent items. However, they are not delieverd. They should be synced with my phone and then sent out via GSM.
Apparantly this works fine on my colleagues Galaxy SIII using the native e-mail client.
Has anyone succesfully managed to send and receive SMS via Outlook with a Nexus? If so, how did ya do that? :fingers-crossed:
so, I recently upgraded my personal vehicle and it has bluetooth integration which also includes the ability to read (via the car "voice") SMS and email messages.
When I bring up the phone messages, I see the "title" of an SMS message (not emails but the phone might not have had any fresh emails at the time) but with I try to "read" the SMS message via the BT in the car, it says unable to retrieve the message.
is there a trick to this or do our GNex phones just not support this function.
I'm on Cyanogen 10.1 RC5 and I use Handcent for SMS and K-9 for my email client.
thanks...

anyone?
stock messaging only allows me to send 10 sms group contact, i have a list in my organizacion of over 200 which i need to send a meeting sms once a week. i tried handsent and go sms pro (with added plug ins) even enabling MMS GROUP CHAT and i'm unable to. if i send up to 10 is fine, but if i send above 10 contacts is just stay hanging.
i know there a mod to enable a higher limit in the stock messaging program but it required root which at the moment i'm not willing to do until i see my phone working perfectly for about a month or so.
